Best HVAC Contractor in Colorado Springs CO

Angel did a great job of finding the problem and kept at it until he found it. He walked us through every part of the job, there were no hidden costs or financial surprises. He was personal and professional. We had 2 other companies come out and they did not take the time to find the problem. We definitely recommend this company and ask for Angel!

Incredible service. I had a water heater go out during the holidays. KC from Alphalete was awesome as he worked diligently to get us up and running again. Fast and efficient service with all costs and options clearly explained up front.

Used to use this company but after the last visit, I'm switching to anyone other than HPE. Contractor came, partially fixed the problem, and then charged me 3.5 hours for what I recall was maybe 2 hours at the house. 45 minutes of that time owed to the contractor having to go to the store to buy parts. After partially fixing the issue, charged $540 dollars. Then, have an estimate of $500 more dollars to fix the rest, owing to a bad wire that must have become disconnected in the crawlspace. $500 for a wire?? Called for a second opinion from another vendor, they inspected, tested wires and found wires intact, with thermostats being the problem. They had to undo everything HPE did to fix the problem, which did NOT include $500 for a wire. How can you provide an estimate and cost of a problem you didn't even personally check in the first place? Proved to me HPE is ripping folks off for time and labor, for parts, and for notorious 2nd or 3rdvisits required to fix what other companies fix the first time. I do not recommend and if I could give zero stars, I would.

This company was amazing. My husband and I were just wanting to have air conditioning in our Master Bedroom. While we have air conditioning in our house, it's hard to cool off our bedroom. We required some custom work for our installation. Getting financed was so easy. All the technicians were polite, followed covid protocols, cleaned up after they finished the job. There were a few hiccups, but Comfort by Design bent over backwards to correct said hiccups to make this installation perfect. I will always recommend them to anybody and everybody in the future!

These two guys were great, Emmanuel and his coworker were professional and courteous, and I apologize if I did not get their names correct but do you know who they are. Stay away from “Affordable” plumbing in Colorado Springs if you need a new water heater. They just charged my 70+ year old parents $3000 to replace theirs. They refused to give them a price breakdown or an itemized receipt. General manager Brahn Shinkle has refused to respond to voicemail or email after another manager gave my sister the runaround on the phone about this ridiculous price gouging.
