It’s never fun to call a plumber after hours but it’s really not fun to call one on Christmas Eve. But, Dakota, with Affordable Plumbing made it pleasurable. He was responsive, arrived when he said he would, was very personable and got my plumbing problem fixed in a timely fashion. And when he left, you would never known he had been here - he left the bathroom spotless. I appreciate that and I appreciate his work ethic and would not hesitate to use them or recommend him or Affordable Plumbing in the future.

My kitchen sink sprung a leak, and he came and fixed it really quick for really cheap. No more leaks under my sink! Highly recommend!

In August we developed problems with our old hot water heater. We called several plumbers in the Colorado Springs area. Some would not schedule an appointment for one to two weeks. Then we called Oak View Mechanical. They put us in touch with their master plumber, Tim, and he said he could look at our problem the same day. Since we have an older house, the replacement evolved into a major project. County codes had changed and our venting no longer met code. We also had to replace our old furnace, as well as the hot water heater. Also, the old electricity was only 110 volts and had to be upgraded to 220. With this change, we decided to also install an air conditioner.

Oak View’s owner (Joe), master plumber (Tim), and master mechanic (Dana), and the owner of the electric company they recommended (Mark, Gaddie Electric) came to our house at the same time to look at the project and discuss it with us. At every step of the way, they consulted with us to insure they were doing what we wanted and promptly answered our questions. They staged the job and coordinated with everyone involved to minimize the inconvenience to us. They did the removal, installation, and rewiring in only two days! They set up the appointment with the county inspectors on a day convenient for us. They were very considerate of us and cleaned up all the debris. Our job was unusual because the house, hot water heater, and furnace were so old. Joe, Tim, Dana, and Mark were very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Our heater was making loud noises so we decided to call comfort by design. Scott came out and explained everything to us, he took his time and went over everything throughly. Our house didn't have ac so we decided to add it along with the new furnace. Within 20 minutes our credit was approved and the contract signed. Two days later the team arrived right on time and by the end of the day we had heat and air. We are extremely impressed and grateful to everyone who works for Comfort by Design.

Steve is a real asset to your company. He is courteous, knowledgeable, professional and explains what needs to be done. . It didn’t take very long to diagnose and repair the problem. I will recommend Wire Nut to others in my community.

If I could give negative stars I would.
I called Affordable Heating to install an air conditioning unit and whole home air purifier but we knew we had to replace our old circut breaker first. Everything seemed all good and well with our project manager (what a laughable title) as we went over the different packages and decided on a finance program as our choice was in the $20 thousands we put down $2500 to get our circut breaker going. We were told June 6th, then after not hearing anything for over a month we finally got a call telling us June 16th. My husband took time off of work to be here and you change our date for the install... fine, whatever, that's annoying but we obviously have no choice but to get this done. Finally when they show up they cut a huge hole in my wall, find out they're missing parts and leave my house a disaster area getting drywall in every nook and cranny of my kitchen and dining area in my brand new couch and then when I moved a piece of art from the other side of that wall I found a huge hole had been punched through. When we had gotten the call to settle up on the remaining balance of our bill, i told them I need someone to fix the wall on the other side as THAT was NOT part of the contract (i get having to fix the giant friggin hole they cut but I also get to pay more to fix damage as a resulted from their neglect?!) I was told THAT is also part of my contract, sir, i beg to differ but since I have to pay to have everything else fixed, fine.. I will fix that too since you want to argue with me and talk down on me... MIKE, who also decided to tack on an extra $500 than what i was originally told was the balance due but in all interest of not having to deal with a blubbering misogynist I paid it... my guess is he was not happy when I told him any future appointments need to be canceled, I am no longer interested in purchasing anything from this company or using them for any other home repairs ever again... because of one man who thinks he can talk to you however he wants. He just lost your company $20,000, being as though I myself am a manager, i would have fired him for that. I was a loyal customer calling you guys for every repair for my home and my store ... not anymore. And to top this whole mess off... they never scheduled our final inspection, good thing we were on top of that. This company will never see another dime out of us.

Great customer service, great personality. Gave me suggestions on what I may want to look into and explained benefits of their one-year maintenance program. I also requested a duct cleaning estimate at the same time, and that was fair also.
