Overall, the experience was good. H Jacks was able to come to our home after our hot water tank went out within 30 mins of the call while I had other companies tell me it could be days or weeks. It was a relief to have someone out to quickly. The team was very kind and personable and answered our questions.

As other reviews mentioned, we found H Jacks to be extremely expensive. Our hot water tank was under warranty (thankfully) but we were prepared to pay for the labor for installation. H Jacks quoted us $1,500 for the installation ONLY. I’ve had multiple friends and family members tell me this is completely outrageous. We even called our insurance company and they told us an installation should be well under $1,000.

When I called and asked for a detailed breakdown of how they came to $1,500, they were not able to provide it (what was labor vs materials vs taxes vs any other components). They told me they were a “flat rate” company and they don’t pass taxes to their customers. However they still declined to provide a breakdown which makes me feel like it was just arbitrarily put together. In my opinion, a company should be able to provide details on how they came to a number especially when it’s $1,500. How much are you charging per hour for labor? What is the cost of materials? How are you getting to this number?

Again, we were in a bit of a desperate situation with a baby at home and no desire to go longer than needed without water and unable to get other crews out quickly.

So overall, the process and team were great. However, due to the cost, we likely won’t be calling again and feel a bit taken advantage of.

This guys are honest, knowledgeable and courteous. They know their job, small or big. Did a great job installing my new 1.28 L toilet.. He got a customer for life. I'm 66 yrs old and hate negotiating or being cheated. Kamran is honest and professional.

One of their plumbers, Craig, came over yesterday and fixed several smaller problems that I had been needing to take care of for some time. He was even able to find and fix a leak that another plumber had claimed wasn't there (like water and mildew just appears by magic?). He was friendly, fast, professional, and came in under his estimate.

I had an emergency situation with a leak in my ceiling and my co-worker referred them. Jason came to fix the problem and he was excellent!! He not only fixed the problem, but he also educated me about how the problem occurred and what I can do for maintenance in the future. The downpour that came April 19, 2017 hit us hard. We had 2 drains in our house back up. We contacted them via email from their site like it said to. I selected it was an emergency and explained my problem. They never got back to us. My business went elsewhere. My mother also used these guys a few weeks ago. They tried to get her to buy 30 grand worth of crap. Another plumber came in and did it at a quarter of the price. These guys suck. Will never be contacting them again and have advised my family and friends to stay away from these guys.

Had a great experience overall. They were available to take my initial call.Took my info and told me a dispatcher would follow up to schedule. Dispatcher called 15 minutes later and they actually had someone available and could be here in 20 minutes.David Markulik arrived on time, inspected our plumbing needs and provided multiple options. We picked an option and he completed the work quickly. He showed us the finished work and we were very satisfied.We have a couple more projects that we will be doing in the next few weeks and will be requesting David for that work too.

I am incredibly impressed with the honesty, timeliness, and professionalism of this company.

I had my hot water heater go out, and initially hired another heating and cooling company to come diagnose and fix the issue. The service person was dishonest about the issue, claimed I needed an entire new tank, and tried to sell me a new one at $1600.

Enter Tim and Alex from Plumb Nation who correctly diagnosed the issue to the elements needing to be replaced. $345 bill. Alex was even prepared to contact the manufacturer on my behalf to ensure they covered a full replacement, should that be the case! Tim also took the time to explain to me the issue so I clearly understood the needed repair and was a complete gentlemen. As a young, single woman, I cannot appreciate this enough.

So thankful to have an ethical company to call for any future plumbing needs!!

Today is a Saturday and the weather is awful (blizzard) and we had an emergency with our sink at our shop, water everywhere! Independence Plumbing responded so fast like always. They are always so helpful, I have never had a bad experience with them and their work is always done right the first time. Thank you so much Steve and Lindsey for being so awesome! We will continue to call them anytime we have any issues in our shop.

Had a major leak in the main water valve. Was able to work me in before the afternoon. Work was done professionally and quickly. Will use their services again.
