Best Installation in Cleveland OH

I decided to call H Jack to help me repair my leaky tub faucet. I called and let them know the cartridges needed replaced, as they wear out every so often. No big deal. I saw the negative reviews and was a bit hesitant, but there were so many positive reviews I decided to give them a shot.

Learn from my mistake, please trust the reviews.

I was told that because my tub faucet is an old style having 3 handles, they would not be able to locate parts.

I was presented with two options: First option would cost $688 to have them do a complete rebuild and install a new, Gerber 3 handle system. There is nothing wrong with my current system, apart from the cartridge. My plumbing is copper, not galvanized, and everything is in proper working order, again, apart from the dang cartridge.

The second option was to convert to a single handle tub and shower valve, and this would cost $1,043. That's a whole mortgage.

I asked why we couldn't just replace the cartridges. I can understand that the faucet handles are older, but it's an American Standard faucet and, like the name implies, it's pretty standard to find these in homes everywhere. Also I'd really like to be as minimally invasive as possible, considering there is nothing wrong with my plumbing apart from the CARTRIDGE. I was advised they only can obtain parts through their own vendors, and are not able to shop at places like Home Depot or Lowe's, which is why they wouldn't be able to locate an American Standard cartridge. So no cartridge only replacement option available. From a plumbing company? Wow.

Long story short I went to my local hardware store (Shout out to Webb Supply!) and was able to purchase the cartridges I needed to fix my problem. My boyfriend installed them in less than 15 minutes. Leak solved, same old, out of date handles, and it cost less than $25.

Honestly, shame on you guys. Like many reviews before me, I can understand businesses need to make money, and I don't mind paying top dollar for great service and expertise, but this is absolutely unconscionable! I let you know up front what the problem was when I called, you should have been upfront then and there that you don't replace cartridges, and will only do a full rebuild. It would've saved both of us our time, and saved you from this negative review. But even so.... $700 for a new faucet??? You gotta be freaking kidding me.

They do great job in winterizing & dewinterizing of our home.

We have used Hank at least 5 times for various things. The latest was that we needed a toilet installed. We ordered the toilet and got it home and called him. Within an hour he called us back and within the next hour they were in my house installing it. Such great customer service. I highly recommend him!

I've hired them for various plumbing problems for over 10 years now. They are reliable, curteous, thoroughly clean up when finished and have always done a good job.

Based on the online reviews I decided to call 1st Choice to see if someone could check our basement drain. We've had problems with it in the past and I decided I wanted to find someone local to fix it. When I explained the situation to Dan my expectation was that someone would come to the house, clean out the drain and I would write a check for $$$. I was amazed at Dan's response. Because I live in Parma, he suggested I call the Cuyahoga County Sanitary Engineer. They would come out and fix the problem at no charge. The work is covered by the taxes I pay. Reluctantly, I said I would call to see what they could do. What happened next is almost beyond belief! I called the county at 9:20am. The dispatcher told me she could have a crew out to the house by 4:00pm. They arrived at 10:00 and by 10:30 the drain was clean and my 'crises' was solved. The reason I will not hesitate to call Dan in the future for other plumbing problems is because of the honesty and integrity he demonstrated when he put the customer first. He could have easily set up an appointment and done the job but instead decided to let me know about the service I already pay for! Kudos to Dan. The service industry needs more people like him.

Ryan came out to do some jetting on my leech field and was more than willing and very helpful and understanding the $?!&?$ job that needed to be done. He even tried getting a discounted price for me. Very professional and Wyatt is honestly a legit plumbing company. I’d definitely recommend them

Cleveland is a much better place with this team at your disposal. Great service and good expertise. Many generations of knowledge built inside the leaders of this bunch. Almost all plumbers that I have met do not want to fix the real source of the problem when it is “hidden”. These folks give you the facts by seeing/showing you the issues using the latest technology, offer solutions to consider so I could make an informed decision with no surprise outcome. Being a homeowner for over 40 years, I have finally found a great group that really provides service. Investing in them will pay you dividends when you sell !!! Go for it.

Strongsville Plumbing Company just did a toilet repair, and replaced some PVC pipe under my kitchen sink. The plumber at my house was polite, and professional. He did nice work, and cleaned up after himself. Everything was done for a great price. I will refer this company to anyone I know looking for a good plumber.

Today is a Saturday and the weather is awful (blizzard) and we had an emergency with our sink at our shop, water everywhere! Independence Plumbing responded so fast like always. They are always so helpful, I have never had a bad experience with them and their work is always done right the first time. Thank you so much Steve and Lindsey for being so awesome! We will continue to call them anytime we have any issues in our shop.

Had a major leak in the main water valve. Was able to work me in before the afternoon. Work was done professionally and quickly. Will use their services again.
