Put a call into Schneller Knochelmann around 1230PM on Saturday afternoon. The call was answered by Bailey who was friendly, professional, and sympathetic to my laundry sinks overflowing onto the floor of my laundry room in the middle of my prepping for dinner guests. Her calm demeanor helped me to remain calm. Since it was an emergency call, she couldn’t guarantee a time for a tech to check out the situation. Having low expectations, we were pleasantly surprised to get a call back from Bailey within the hour, telling us that Nick would be at our home within a 1/2 hour.Nick assessed the situation and reported it was a clog in the kitchen line. Up and down, up and down the basement steps to work all the angles between the kitchen and laundry room, explaining what he was doing as he progressed. Here for about 2.5 hours, the sinks were empty and draining again and he even offered to help with mopping the very disgusting floor.That’s some awesome service right there. Nick was professional and friendly…cleaning up along the way. He suggested we run a fan or dehumidifier and that we put a strainer on the kitchen sink to prevent unwanted substances from getting into garbage disposal…might have been a fat produce rubber band that was the ultimate culprit. 😳. We felt the cost of the emergency service call was reasonable, given the situation.

Everything about the process of using Roto Rooter was smooth and easy, from booking online to the service call itself. I received a text 30 minutes prior to the appointment, as promised. Our technician was friendly, explained the process, and even took care to wear clean booties in our house. For minor drain service, I would use Roto Rooter again.

We called Neyer plumbing to troubleshoot a suspected clogged exterior drain-line from our gutter downspout and sump pump. Within a couple of hours Rusty arrived with all the right tools and found roots and other debris in the line. Contacted via Angi for repair/replace of water heater. Spoke with Eric Warner 3 times prior to him responding to my home for an estimate. At no point during those conversations did he mention a $129.00 Trip charge. No other contractor requested a charge for an estimate. If you contact or are contacted by American Rooter, be sure to enquire about a fee for an estimate. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB and Angi.
