I asked for an inspection to my water heater.I've had two instances in the last year where leaks from other systems in my unit has damaged my down stairs neighbors ceiling. I really need to prevent future damage.My expectations were:1. An estimate to recondition my existing water heater.2. An estimate to replace the water heater.3. An estimate to install a automatic shut off valve.I can then make an informed decision about which path to take to minimize the risk of a future leak.What I received:My wife stated that the technician pointed out a manual shut off valve.I received a estimate for a new water heater.That was only one third of the information I was expecting.Clearly, my spouse and I did not accurately convey what I needed.Due to this miscommunication, I have experienced my first less than ideal interaction with Schneller Knochelmann. I attempted to email and respond to electronic surveys without a reply.Because of that difficulty I have lowered my rating of the company to 4 stars.I want to restore the 5 star status. For that to occur, I need to receive the following two estimates:1. A written estimate to install an automatic shut off valve to my existing unit.2. A written estimate to replace any worn parts.I am under the strong impression that this portion of the inspection did not happen. I would like to have a technician assess what parts likely need replaced, and generate an estimate to recondition the existing unit.Ideally, I would like to have my by email so I can look at all of the data available to make my best decision going forward.Please call me at the number you have on file to schedule another inspection. I will answer the call or return it at my first opportunity.I want to emphasize, that aside from this issue, I have been very pleased with the service I have received, and anticipate being able to continue our friendly, professional relationship.Thank you.

Called Thomas & Galbraith to help trouble shoot drainage problem. They scheduled quickly and arrived on time. The technician was knowledgeable, honest, and gave suggestions to fix the problem. He cancelled the drain tech as we came to the conclusion it wasn’t needed (saved me time and money) and scheduled for a camera crew for the next day keeping in mind our best available times. I appreciated the honest feedback and conservative approach to trouble shoot the problem and gave case scenarios of what to do on findings. I have used this company for years for our heating and cooling annual maintenance check up and find their prices competitive and reasonable and technicians knowledgeable.

They were very fast and efficient as well as letting me know how long it would take.

Steve S has done a superb job on my water heater replacement today. My 15 year-old Rheem water heater was leaking and end of life. I am so lucky to have him for a free consultation without
any trip charge (some companies charge $75 trip fee for just a consultation). Steve is very knowledgeable and highly experienced professional plumber to make sure that the installation meets the State Code. He explained rationals, added the drain pan and expansion tank which were absent in the previous installation (some company quoted me extra $150 to have an expansion tank installed), screwed all vent pipe together, lined gas pipes without any angle stress, secured the expansion tank, hauled away my leaking water tank without mess, and made sure my new heater working fine. He has my new water heater installed in a professional way starting from consultation to the end of work. Steve has more than 35 years of plumber experience, very nice and patient, teaching me and answering me many questions on the tools and materials which I love to learn. It is really a pleasure to have him and enjoyed all his beautiful work. Reasonable price for excellent work!!! I would like to hire him again and recommend his service to anyone who has plumbing needs.

I hired Ryan and Jeff Tharp whom are father and son of R&T Plumbing. They repaired my leak that was underneath my sink at a very affordable price. I am so pleased with their work and will be referring them from here on out. They are very honest hard working men.
