This company has done every kind of utility work possible on my 180 year old home. They are far superior with quality and knowledge than your basic contractor. Most of all they are honest!

Unprofessional!! Extremely Rude! I Will Never Use Them Again and suggest you do the same !!!! Approximately 2 years ago I started using G&K plumbing in a rental property that I was having plumbing issues with. The first experience I was treated nicely and billed fairly. Since then, their attitude and billing treatment has changed immensely. I have had other issues arise with this property and have called on G&K multiple times (my mistake). G&K (the actual plumber) may eventually get the job done but the office staff (the family )-this is a family owned business, is the most rude, unprofessional group of individuals I have ever come across. They have scheduled appointments and have no showed, no phone call, no apologies, to either my tenants or myself who took the entire day off work to meet with them. Then they rescheduled days down the road, after we had already been waiting days for them to come. I have always paid G&K promptly, even though (in some cases) I have had question regarding their billing and repair details. When I query them, they are uncooperative and have treated me like dirt! Insulting me for asking questions and telling me they will answer the questions when the bill is paid. They are reluctant to answer anything! My last inquiry turned into a screaming match, with them accusing me of not paying a bill for over 3 months when in fact the bill was 3 weeks old and the only reason I hadn't paid it was because they hadn't returned my 4 previous phone calls (that they said they would return) regarding the details of the repair.

If that's not enough to warn you away from this company, one time the plumber cut the wrong pipe (water everywhere), created an enormous mess (that I needed to clean up), damaged ceilings tiles due to the spraying water and then charged me to fix the pipe they wrongfully cut (which they eventually had to re-repair because it wasn't repaired properly the first time). Take your chances with G&K,.... My opinion, take your chances on another plumbing company!!!

Brandon and Chris and I’m not sure of the other young man’s name were absolutely awesome getting my drain unclogged!!!!!! I was anticipating having to wait until next week for service and haul a bunch of clothes to the laundromat but they were able to get my system back up and running before the afternoon even hit and free up my day so thank you so much best plumbing and staff for your punctuality professionalism and skills!!!!!

The service tech was excellent. She quickly got to work. We agreed on a clear plan, then she went to work. She was replacing the main valve to my house. She was done in no time, and did a great job. We went over what she had done. Very professional. Then I paid. Reasonable, expected for such a critical part.

I had the misfortune of calling this company for a leak under my kitchen sink recently. I had tried to fix it myself and was able to tighten some nuts but still had some water dripping from the sprayer hose and wanted the other pipes evaluated. I was hoping they could just do a quick repair and keep the bill around $100-150.
What I got instead was a guy who said the sink in my 13 year old house was in bad shape and needed replacing. (click dots for more).
He also commented on how my faucet was hard to move side ways, and get this, my sprayer hose was obsolete and could not be replaced. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His exact words were Its time for a new kitchen , I kid you not. And when he said that, I was absolutely livid and basically said if he wasn't going to just fix the leak I didn't need his service so he left.
I was ready to shell out tripple figures for a repair but he decided to go for whole enchilada and lost big.
I ended up calling Moen who sent me the replacement hose FOR FREE. and after a few visits to a DIY website and banging my knuckles up and cussing, I was able to replace the hose my self. No more leaks.

Very friendly and personable, he definitely knew what he was doing and efficiently got to the problem and solved it.

Drain lines added for kitchen reno and new laundry room. Quality work. If I ever need a plumber again, I'll be calling RT.
