Best Water Damage Repair in Chicago IL

They don’t show up as scheduled. They overcharge,DAY 1: Told to expect someone between 8 and noon. Plumber showed at 2 unprepared to do the job and charging $69 for nothing: (pulling out my faucet hose so it no longer retracted breaking it even more). Then he told me he didn’t have the part — plumbers usually go get parts if they don’t have them but he was too late to do that.DAY 2: I scheduled a return with him initially quoting over $300 to change a simple pullout faucet hose. Supposed to show up between 8 and noon. Never came. I got a call at 4 pm that plumber coming TOMORROW between 8 and noon and I would be first.DAY 3: 8:30 I get a call that the plumber can’t come and would be here first thing TOMORROW.DAY 4: Nope. Never again.Totally unacceptable ‼️

This company just wants your money and wants to keep coming back to “fix” the issue and charge you more money to make quick fixes, and then when the problem persists, they’ll come back and charge you to make another quick fix. Either they don’t know how to diagnose the root cause of the problem, or they want to keep coming back to milk the problem for all the money they can. Either way, when confronted about it, they got defensive and didn’t try to make it right. Buyer beware. Charged $400 for same day toilet auger and clearing. (Roto rooter will do same service for much less and with a 2 hour turnaround). Then, when the issue came back two days later the came back for no additional charge to auger again but charged $100 parts and labor to change a $40 part that was sitting in their truck. The issue came back again, and by this point it’s clear they don’t want to actually resolve the actual issue, but want to come back and charge parts and labor to “fix” another aspect or to charge the price of a toilet to replace the toilet, when it should have probably been done the first time. I was hoping to use this service for some larger projects I have coming up in the future, but I don’t think First Chicago plumbing is a match. Two stars because they did actually call back and were on time and followed up during the service to explain what they were doing and again after it was done.

The plumbers were very polite, professional, helpful and expedient. I highly recommend their services and would use them again in the future.

Replaced all my fixtures and drains, a bathroom vanity and repaired the water main without opening the cement floor, as other plumbers said was required. Really fast and precise, worked clean, and made special arrangements to accommodate my schedule. Highly recommended. Thanks, Mr.Flores and Diego! It was a pleasure. It is so hard to find a reliable and honest plumbing company. Bubba & Wayne was recommended to us by a friend; It was a great recommendation. Placed a call on a Sunday and they returned my call first thing Monday morning. (This was not an emergency). I loved the fact that they always communicated with us. Kudos to their very sweet receptionist. There was no wondering if they were going to call us back or when they would show up. We had four gentlemen who solved our problem. They were very, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I will use this company again for all our plumbing needs and I will recommend them to friends and family. We had a water tank explode last week. Called C&J and they had appeared within an hour, super professional and clean. While one plumber was working on disconnecting and removing the broken one, there was another team on the case of getting us a same day new one. I highly recommend this company without any reservation. It was a calming feeling knowing that this disaster was getting rectified so quickly. I can't even recall the last time when I received such stellar services.

I Definitely don’t recommend this company for any emergency service.. needed a sewer line cleared as I was having backup in my shower… charged 475 to clear shower line which they could not clear... didn’t tell me that price before attempting to clear line.. than text me a price of 650 to try & clear the same line thru the toilet… at that point I said no.. paid them 475 +125 for emergency service fee & they left with nothing being accomplished.. he did say. If I had let him drop a camera to see which line to clear.. it would of been cheaper but Ofcourse he didn’t tell me any of that in the beginning or the 475 price til after they attempted to clear line.... had another company come the next day & clear the same line for 275 & no camera needed…so basically they wanted to charge me 1225.00 to do the same job, I got done for 275 the next day.. ripoffs!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I can save a singe customer from the experience I have had over the past month! I had a pipe burst around Christmas and this service came out to defrost my pipes. Since they responded I decided to use them for a rerouting. The plumber was not only late but showed up at 7pm and stayed till midnight rerouting. The plumber had to come back several days later to finish the installation because my contractor had to redo some framing. One of the laundry valves they installed leaked and it took the plumber several days to come out, however the valve was never replaced. Like others have said, the owner is in a meeting, little to no response, and after almost a week of no shows and no communication, a different plumber showed up (after I started to request return of payment) and installed a wash tub hook up that was supposed to be done at the same time as the laundry, as he was leaving I said there is a leak and he told me he had spilled water. Pipe was still leaking about 2 hrs later I called them to come back… the plumber tried to tell me it was “ground water leaking” until I pointed out the leak in the cold water valve they had installed the week prior. This is how they left my new drywall…. I’m praying their work holds up but am skeptical! Please save yourself the headache and heartache! Hopefully their contract holds up if there is any further issue!

They came over to replace the toilet flush valve and to repair leaking shower valves. This is as simple as it gets as far as plumbing goes.
They used no parts and were there less than 2 hours.
They charged $724.15..... RIDICULOUS!
My mother in law got these guys out of a church bulliten, thinking they must be honest.
