You get what you pay for. You may pay more for Baethke plumbing, but these guys are top notch. Consistent, clean, friendly. I've been using them for over 10 years now. Everytime I go with someone else, eventually I have to call Baethke to fix it.

We had a leaking toilet on our second floor which was leaking into the kitchen ceiling below. We had Matt, technician #1553, come out and he did a great job assessing the issue and making recommendations. He was able to repair the toilet in about 30 minutes. The only reason I took off a star was because of the cost. But I suppose, you get what you pay for which is prompt, quality service.

Needed a plumber familiar with (and undaunted by) the quirky plumbing surprises an 80+ year old building can present so once again, and of course, I turned to Vanguard Plumbing for their expertise. The owner, Jan, is very knowledgeable and accommodating, quickly getting me on the schedule, and his tech, George, knows his stuff and did excellent work, as usual (he’s repaired/replaced a few things in ‘this old condo’, over the years). With his assistant, Chris, they worked a small miracle replacing a slow, old tub drain, replacing faulty shut off valves (including two, original red-knobbed room shut offs) and recapping an above-floor capped radiator pipe so it’s now below the floor so my new marble flooring will be obstruction-free! I also really like how accommodating they all are with all of my questions. I don’t want to get in their way, but I do appreciate being able to learn a few things about our plumbing system (that’s even more ‘vintage’ than me!).

They are the absolute best! Luis helped me out with my plumping issues. Will definitely hire again!

I had a great experience with J Sewer & Plumbing. I wanted someone to pick up a toilet I had purchased at the hardware store, bring it to my home, remove the old toilet, and install the new one. I sent out a request for quote to multiple companies. Some didn't respond. Jesus from J Sewer & Plumbing responded within an hour and provided a fair quote. Others wanted to schedule a time to come give an estimate (and charge a trip fee). I didn't think it was a job that required a separate trip to estimate. On the day of the service, Jesus and his team showed up on time. The work was done professionally, timely, cleanly, and properly. I highly recommend J Sewer & Plumbing.

We needed a pipe replaced and the office was prompt and professional in the quote and scheduling. The guys did a great job on the repair: efficient, communicated well on what they were doing, and overall, did exactly what we needed. Would recommend First Chicago to anyone with plumbing needs in the Chicago area.

Do not use Rob West plumbing. We were convinced by Rob to fix something that wasn't broke (first red flag) and quoted $1,000 to do the job. The next day we find out it would cost $400 more to finish the work. We reluctantly agreed. Almost 1 month later, we get an invoice for an extra $1,000. If I had found out this at the time, I would have found a new plumber! I will never use this company again and will advise others to do the same.

We had a very rough time when our shower valve started leaking bad. I was amazed that 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC arrived a day after and delivered in half the time promised. I totally recommend their services and I look forward to working together if need be.

Edwin has helped us twice, both with urgent situations. Once with a sump pump issue and the second was a hot water heater issue. Edwin was responsive, knowledgeable, calm, and honest. We knew we were in good hands the first time we met him. We’d highly recommend him to anyone!

José arrived early (after checking I was available). He reviewed the job, provided a cost, left for about 40 minutes for parts and returned to complete the job, for a total time of 2-3 hours. José appeared to be skilled at the work, acted professionally and cleaned up afterwards.
Job was to replace a section of pipe under the sink for a total cost $375.

Dave and Anthony were great! I was truly impressed- They are honest and have fair prices. I was really impressed by their service and work, not to mention they are forth generation. We had a problem with our basement toilet and we felt like it was impossible to fix but these two brothers worked together to find a solution and they did. They were very communicative, professional and truly honest people. We will be using them for any future plumbing issues and would highly recommend!! Father anb son plumbing repaired my main sewer line. They dug it up and replaced a section, power washed whole line. They did an excellent job at a good price.

Chas was absolutely amazing. The quality and professionalism was top notch. Their prices were fair, and Chas was so extremely knowledgeable. I feel comfortable trusting them with mine and my condo associations plumbing needs. I love that this is a family own and run business, too.
