Dead of chicago winter Bathke and Sons charged me $500 for a new ignitor that retails for $20. When I complained, they told me were you going to have your kids freeze and pipes burst. Shameful.

I called Roto Rooter to fix my garbage disposal at 12:30 PM. The plumber arrived at 1 PM and he was back out the door with everything fixed by 1:40 PM. To say the service is fast is an understatement!The plumber was Grant (#3176). He was professional, polite, and straightforward about my options. I would definitely recommend him as a plumber and Roto Rooter as a company. I will be using their services again for our plumbing needs.

I highly suggest working with Vanguard Plumbing and Sewer. I came to them with an enormous list of issues that piled up during the last two years and they were able to tackle them quickly with quality and care. I had: a leaky shower, a broken tub faucet, needed to replace the showerhead, remove a pedestal sink and replace it with a new sink and cabinet, replace broken valves on said sink, install a bidet and replace a kitchen p-trap. They were able to work efficiently despite my awful building management dropping the water shut off twice... and also communicate issues to this layman so I was always aware of what was being done. I also wanted to note; I have a trash immune system and have to take a bunch of immunosuppressants which is not a great mix in a pandemic. I requested we all wear masks while they were in my place and they respectfully obliged. This act and care was so so appreciated. Thank you!

Jesus came out a few months ago to find out what was wrong with our sewer line. We had back ups and there was a large tree root which blocked the sewer line. We had catastrophic flooding in our basement. He dug up the basement and fixed the problem. No more odor, no more flooding. We now have his crew fixing our sink. I would recommend his wholeheartedly.
