Best Sewer Main Replacement in Chicago IL

I had a clogged/non functioning toilet as a result of accidentally knocking over a bunch of stuff on my vanity while flushing the toilet. I contacted Ben at Rescue Plumbing and he came out right away to take care of it. They ended up having to take my toilet off the base and unassembling it to get the plastic makeup tub out of the toilet. They were on time, fast, professional and fairly priced. I would highly recommend Rescue Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

The plumbers were quick, efficient, and exceedingly helpful and professional. They coordinated with our building's water shut off schedule. Rob was very knowledgeable on the phone and his office was responsive and flexible regarding the appointment time. Great service. Hope I don't have to call again soon, but will definitely be calling them if I need anything in the future.

Edited to add that I also hired an electrician and carpenter through Rob West, and they were both punctual and efficient. They did a great job on replacing fixtures, installing switches, and building and installing a custom barn door. They were on time, tidy, and did a great job very quickly. Definitely recommend their services as well.

Deserves a 5 star rating x1000. John got through 9 years of sewer drain blockage and tree roots and didn’t leave til the job was done. We didn’t know how close we actually were to a full on sewer problem but had already tried renting a snake at Home Depot to unclog it ourselves. Tried and failed, called at least 8 different companies but 24HR is the one that got us through and now I have peace of mind. Will be calling again for any plumbing needs.

Showed up on time, quickly troubleshooted our issues and fixed them. Checked out our plumbing system and pointed out our 15 year old water heater was nearing its end of life. We agreed to have it replaced as well and they completed everything the same day. Great job!

I’d highly recommend Rescue Plumbing and especially Pete and Noah. I called Rescue to inspect a clog my vent stack and Pete and Noah came by a few hours later and earlier than scheduled. They were both friendly and professional throughout the entire visit, they did a thorough inspection and tried to resolve the issue, and then provided a detailed explanation of the problem and expected costs. All around good and trustworthy and would call again for any plumbing issue.

Took 45 minutes to install a dishwasher (plumbers on-site complained about being installers now) and they charged $196 up front. Bill came 2 months later for an additional $506 and shows over 2 hours of service. They did end up crediting $100 off but not satisfied with the overall experience. I would recommend a more buttoned up establishment unless you want to overpay for quick service during Covid.

Pete & Noah are awesome! Very friendly and professional. My building is a bit outdated, but they were able to fix my drain issue in a very reasonable amount of time. Will definitely request them if I need any repairs in the future.

Tech did a great job clearing our underground drains to the storm sewer from our downspouts. Hydro-jetted, scoped with camera, had to detach downspouts and cleared one out by hand of a significant clog. Price was very reasonable. Explained all work and was agreeable to checking additional problem areas to make sure we didn't miss anything.

I just bought a house and for weeks the tub water wasn’t going down quick enough and I let the problem get worse and worse. Needless to say Burris and Sons got the job fixed!! He listened to me complain about what was wrong and immediately after he got his tools and fixed my bathroom sink and tub. I enjoyed doing business with him very polite and informative..as a woman and new homeowner this was very important to have someone I felt comfortable with and someone that wouldn’t try to over charge me. (His price was extremely reasonable)He was confident in what the problem was and even more confident that he could solve it and he did! It was truly a pleasure and a relief to have found him!

John installed a brand new water heater for me as my old one was starting to show it's age with all the rust and water leakage at the bottom. John explained to me how the discoloration was rust at the bottom of the tank. Sediment was building up, causing the metal to rust from the inside. His price to install a new water heater was fair and the installation and work was clean! Thank you John! I'll definitely be using this business again!
