Best Residential Sewer Repair in Chicago IL

I was quoted $600 in labor to replace a toilet and $300 in labor for replacing a toilet valve which is beyond egregious. I sent the guys home and had both toilets repaired and other work done by a general handyman same day for $160. These guys think they can charge more than lawyers and doctors to fix toilets - save your time and find a more honest company to do your work.

The plumbers Pete and his apprentice Noah were knowledgeable (educated me about the toilet I purchased), helpful (hauled away materials), and eager to do the job right. I was very impressed and relieved to have them sent out in a short turn, high stress situation. Excellent service from true professionals. Much appreciated!

I asked Tom to give me a proposal on three new toilets for my home. He followed up 2 weeks later but I was not ready. 3 months passed and finally I was ready. Jesus and his team are excellent. They have completed two jobs for us. September 2019, Jesus replaced a malfunctioning ejector pump for us. He was able to diagnosis and complete the replacement the same day we called. June 2020, they repaired our broken sewer main. Our finished basement flooded after the heavy rains in May. We have a good drain tile system and sump pump, so we assumed the worse. Jesus was able to scope our pipes and find the broken pipe fairly easily. Initially, Jesus thought they would need to break the tile floor to access the pipe, but fortunately, they were able to access it through the wall. Jesus and his team are very tidy and efficient. Jesus was able to have a city inspector out a few days after the work was completed. In total the work was complete within two weeks of the diagnosis (1 week was us dragging our feet on scheduling, because we have a toddler). I would highly recommend Jesus and his team: efficient, clean, courteous. Jesus answered all of our one million questions with professionalism and patience. Covid note: everything was as good as you can expect - everyone in masks the entire time, social distancing when possible.

My building also has them on file so working with them is much easier from an association perspective. When the actual job was done Brian came by, and explained everything he did and gave me options for my next phase of remodeling.

Absolutely amazing.

We just moved in April so we were unsurprised there were plumbing issues after move in. We had a plumbing company that did other work but when they said it was 4k to fix a clogged pipe after looking at it for two minutes, my Ma suggested this company as a second opinion (she always uses them!). I was ready to pay 4k because I thought that the pipe would cost that much.

Glad I got a second opinion! Turns out they didn’t go as far as Matt did.

Matt was super professional and courteous. He went really far down the pipeline to clear debris from the previous owner and he took the time and care to make sure that was the issue. He explained everything to me and also got the job done in about two hours. Our plumbing works great now. Also, they are incredibly affordable, too. A++ 12/10 — found our permanent plumber now :)

Great emergency service! Gas company shut our gas off due to a natural gas leak. We requested emergency service from Apex and they were at our house within 45 minutes. Plumber pressure tested the system, located the leak and made the repair. Apex had our gas and heat running in no time.
Would definitely recommend and use again.

I had an emergency where tree roots had clogged my unde ground system dirty sewer water was coming up thru my tub and bubbling out of my toilet. I was totally freaked out. I needed someone like yesterday. I called a couple places and could not get immediate service. I then called Go Rooter. They came out that day assesses the situation, told me what was going on and that they had performed a solution that would allow me access to my bathroom, gave me a time that they would return the next day of which they did with a permit and worked very hard . Before the day was over I had total access to my bathroom. The only thing I wanted an forgot to get was a copy of the picture they took of the sewer.

Rescue plumbing is an amazing company. They were professional, honest, friendly and genuine about the work. They explained everything about the repair. I felt comfortable with the work they did. John from Power Plumbing did a great job in replacing a bad seal on our toilet. At first I was leery because they charge by the hour, but he fixed the toilet so quickly and also put a better/upgraded seal so this wouldn’t happen again for a long time.
