Rescue Plumbing was amazing to work with, specifically Dex. 5 out of 5 starts easily. My water heater began leaking on a Sunday. In a panic, I called Rescue Plumbing and Dex arrived within an hour. He helped me address the leak and prevent any further damage. Dex then returned later in the week to remove and install a new water heater. The space was tricky, but Dex handled it like a professional and did the work perfectly. Highly recommend!

Pete came out 3 times to diagnose a leak with no commitment until he knew the problem. Good guy, knows his stuff, very professional. I will call him for any future plumbing needs.

They answered my call about a clogged sink/garbage disposal/dishwasher and were able to schedule an appointment for the following day (not an emergency issue). They arrived promptly and were very friendly. It took about an hour, which was the quoted time, and the issue was resolved. There were a few additional things they found which were also fixed. Both men explained what the issue was, what to do in the future, and how they fixed it. I highly recommend them!

I have used Apex Plumbing & Sewer for over 15 years at all of my rental properties and my own residence. They are extremely dependable and reliable. Whether it is a replacement water heater, sewer backup, stopped up toilet/bathtub or any type of water leak, I can count on Apex for a quick response and excellent service; always the same day, weekday or weekend. Jay and Jr. came to the house to detect the source of a leak. They removed a small portion of the ceiling in the basement and quickly identified the issue. Initially I thought it might be a leaky sink which was backing up, it was not. It was the toilet. Jay quoted a price for the toilet and to also rout out the sink. As it turned out, the sink didn’t need routing, just a stopper clog, simple. Jay removed the toilet, cleaned out the old, re-installed the bolts and reseated the toilet. Unfortunately it didn’t work. Made some adjustments, no go. The solution was to replace the original cast iron below and redo where the toilet sits. The quote was significant. Jay said he would not charge for today, but would do the project the day after. To no fault of Jay and jr. I had run into a friend who has done contract work on our block and he found a different solution to try. I called Rescue to explain and cancel and Jay and I spoke with regards to the cancellation. He was above and beyond professional and respectful of my decision. Most notably, Jay would not accept payment for his work since he said he did not fix the problem. I said I had no problem paying for his time, experience and identifying the issue, but he would not accept the payment.

Although I believe professionals should be paid for their time, I respect jay’s decision and will, reluctantly honor it. But, In the future, I will call on Jay to service my plumbing needs. He was knowledgeable, personable, respectful, explained every detail—like a master’s class in plumbing.

Power Plumbing replaced the failed wax ring which caused problems downstairs; they successfully dealt with the bad original installation of the toilet, unclogged the bathroom sink, and replaced parts which caused the toilet to run so often. I smiled as I wrote the check. Highest recommendation.
