If you ever need plumbing needs, Rescue Plumbing should be your first and only call. Pete and Noah were absolutely incredible. My project was expected to be a simple faucet replacement and clearing of a garbage disposal. However, Mr. Murphy poked out his head and of course, trouble started coming out of the woodwork. Pete and Noah tackled each problem head-on, talked me through all the possible options, and completed their work in a timely and perfect manner. I could not recommend them enough and will be calling them if I run into any plumbing issues ever again!

Pete arrived quickly and assessed the situation -- my old toilet needed to be replaced. He and Noah were back early the next day with a replacement that was installed in no time. Not only were they fast, but they were thorough and friendly. After the successful install, Pete cleared up all the materials and the old toilet and left the space clean. I highly recommend Rescue Plumbing. They'll take great care of you!

Waste of time and a scam.

The website claimed I could get an estimate online, except it doesn't, only scheduling an appointment. The website claims, no-obligation cost estimate today and Straightforward pricing and upfront quotes. Without that option on the form, I tried a more direct approach.

So I tried the phone number, and instead got a run around. In short, this company will not provide an estimate unless you pay to have someone come out, so those two sales pitches found in print are lies. Worse yet, it took me 3 phone calls as they kept passing me to an estimator to call me back, who was never in the office when I called, who did not have a dedicated line nor voicemail to contact directly, and when I finally caught her, gave me this pay-to-play pitch different than the company's website and their own customer support agents claimed was possible.

My job was a basic one: replace a faucet, I would even buy the materials. And they could not give me an estimate for that basic work without me paying to have someone come in my home.

During a pandemic, this kind of on-site and pay-to-play quoting isn't OK. Worse yet, for me to find out this information, I had to chase them.

Update: the company replied, which confirms what I have posted. Yes I did not provide my address, but did provide my zip code. That should be enough for an online estimate. Beware this company!

First Chicago Plumbing did a great job repiping the water supply lines in our old house. A new laundry tub was installed along with two new outdoor spigots. The three man team completed the job in a day and a half as they said they would. We are pleased with the work that was done and by the efficiency and open communication. Plumber Matt was very good and professional. Price was reasonable except for the extra 160.00 for 5 minutes past the first hour. Labor at 160 an hour is reasonable but 160 for 5 minutes is hard to swallow.

Plumber was due 11-3; he arrived at 3; he left at 3:18. He was rude and arrogant. I was quoted a price for an hour of service; he added on $40 for a nut or bolt that he used. You live and learn; I will not use this service again.

I recently used Power Plumbing and they impressed me so much I will be a customer for life. Not only were they able to come out same day and fix all my small projects around the house, the technician was quick to point out easy workarounds for many of my issues that not just resolved the issues, but saved me money. Recently I had another issue that I called them about, instead of sending out a tech and billing me- they reached out to their team with my issues and called me back to give me some instructions to try on my own to see if I could resolve it myself. Lo and behold, their tips were right and they saved me time/money/frustration once again. Honest, fast, great value- can't recommend them enough.

I've hired Walter many times over the past two years and have been happy with the service and value he's provided! He has completed a re-piping job in the past and recently completed a project that was causing water damage from my second floor washroom down to a first floor bedroom. I called him on Friday, he was out same day and after coordinating with my tenants, job was done by Tuesday afternoon. I will continue to hire for future plumbing jobs!

Disclosing for ethical purposes that this is a paid review although I was going to leave one anyway. I got a quick response and an appointment set up the next day for a non-emergency kitchen sink leak. Logan and Djenkis came to help and were very professional, prompt and respectful. Logan explained that the leak is due to the garbage disposals age/quality and the drain pipe cracking and leaking. They changed everything in a timely manner with no issue. They also explained everything to me, including the fact that they used an expensive, quality disposal because of its reliability. The total was $620.
