We had water backing up into our basement and after looking at some good reviews decided to call John Baethke & Son Plumbing. We got ahold of someone instantly and within 10 mins had someone on their way to our home to help us. Nathan arrived within an hour and was able to assess our problem, figure out what needed to be done, give us multiple estimates/options to solve the problem, and fix the issue correctly. He had excellent customer service skills, was patient and able to explain everything to us thoroughly. Overall it was a great experience, which we were so grateful for considering the problems we were dealing with. My father was here visiting and, having owned a general construction company for over 30 years, has dealt with many plumbing companies, and he was also very impressed with Nathan’s professionalism and personality. This was the first time we ever needed to call a plumber, but I’m happy to say I think we found one we will continue using.

When I called I asked if he was licensed and bonded with the city of Chicago. He said yes but the minute I mention I have an inspector. He says he doesn't have the man power to do the work. Go figure!

Tommy came to our house to fix a toilet and was very communicative, professional and fast. Not a hard fix, but he provided tips on how to better care for the toilet tank parts. I scheduled a repair for a shower head. Since weekends were an additional charge, I took an off day from work and scheduled it for first thing in the morning. When the appointment time came, no call and no show. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

From the assessment, these plumbers were able to diagnose that the previous plumbers had messed up on all my new pipes and they needed to be replaced. They gave a rough estimate and proceeded to do the work. It was beautiful and I recommend what thye do.
