Best Replace Sewer Line in Chicago IL

We had a great experience with Pete, Noah, Paco, and Dex. They were all incredibly responsive and helpful with taking care of our emergency. Pete and Noah did a great job getting to the bottom of our problem and were very patient and helpful with walking us through every step in the process so we understood everything that was going on. We felt very well taken care of and that the work done is high quality and will last. We will definitely use them again if we ever have any other issues.

Appreciated the same day service, technician was nice and knowledgeable, and it didn’t take long to complete the task-less than 45 min. BUT the price to open a clogged kitchen drain was stupidly high!. I asked the price before I booked them and they say the tech will tell you when inspecting the job. Even with a usual trip charge of $170, the cost was unnecessarily high. I know folks are trying to recoup losses, but not all at one from 1 customer!. I’ve used them in other cities, probably not here again. I’m done.9.22.22Update. So, customer service contacted me a couple days ago and today someone from Corporate called to explain that their prices are a set nationally. She told me the rate to clear a simple kitchen sink drain starts at $625 and can run up to $900!! Ridiculous! I asked why they don’t tell the caller that at outset-her reply is they quote when the tech comes out-depending on need, then one can reject the service while the tech is there. If she could tell me that in our conversation, they could tell a potential customer that when they 1st call to inquire about service. The upside is they come at no charge. Had I known at 1st call the range of prices, instead of waiting them to come, I would have been calling someone else So, beware-if you call them, have a backup plan with someone else just in case.

I hired Vanguard Plumbing to help with capping a gas line in my basement where it used to be a kitchen. They responded quickly, and scheduled me in right the way. Work was done very well, and Jan even took the time to check out my water heater and taught me what to do in case of a leak. Believe it or not, they finished the job early and hence offered me a discount, which was double-wonderful. Thank you so much for everything!

I live in a 100 yr old building and we are slowly replacing the old galvanized pipes that are at the end of their life. I quoted with several well established, and well reviewed companies in Chicago and Chicago First Plumbing provided the best value. We have used them already to change two sections of the pipe and both times the work was professionally completed to our total satisfaction, not charging more than the original quote even though the work both times included valves and elbows not originally in the scope of the project. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Goode for an emergency plumbing repair Friday morning, and they had someone out by Friday afternoon. They adhered to the original time frame mentioned on our initial call, and gave us a 30 min heads up on the way. Work was more reasonably priced than an estimate from another vendor. One of the best experiences with trades people I've ever had!

Elias is 2nd generation that understands he must continue good work to continue good name. Top of the line equipment. Fast, polite, neat, and ready to explain. Used water jet to clear sewer line after camera review. 3 roots will slow down a sewer apparently.

I went downstairs to do a load of laundry and noticed water & some type of backup all over my laundry room, utility room and wet carpet inbetween. I didn't know where to start and gave Apex a call. Incredibly professional from the initial call through the service. They arrived in less than 30 minutes!! Quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed Ejector Pump. They had the parts and equipment to service on the spot, provided me with honest options to resolve and quickly got to work. Truly a 5-star experience all around. My condo building has hired Juan/Go-Rooter for three plumbing projects since 2018. Juan helped our building with: 1) a pipe burst/pipe replacement, 2) uncovering a long-buried catch basin, cleaning it out, and digging out/installing a new sewer access point in our front yard, and 3) installing a new water heater. I recently hired him to work on a few tasks in my individual unit. Juan and his team have done excellent work on all four projects. Juan is very creative in figuring out solutions to challenges. He's also clear in communication, respectful of time, and thorough. (When he was working in my unit, I had the feeling he was working with as much care and detail as he would for his own home.) I highly recommend hiring Juan/Go-Rooter. I’m glad our building has him as our go-to plumber.

Pete and Noah arrived early and got the job done quickly and very reliably. We regained hot water by the end of the day as promised. They use the latest technology and explained every step of the process. Fully recommend!

Henry came to our rescue during some heavy rains recently when our sump pump and backup pump stopped working. He came promptly that evening and was able to get both pumps working again without us needing to buy brand new equipment. Great resource to call on if you need plumbing help right away!

Hiring a plumber is nerve-wracking. Would I get a fair price? Would the work be done right or would it just be a quick fix? It's hard to find good people to work with! But wow, John and his team are honest, professional, thorough, and do incredible work. They've helped us with a few projects in our house and are always prompt, communicative, and pleasures to work with. They are upfront about cost and prices are very fair, always providing top quality service and work. They really look out for their clients and the longevity of their homes.

We had an excellent experience with Chas at Apex. He was helpful and stuck with the diagnostic process, and we ultimately able to resolve our problem.
