Jay and Sam were so helpful and found a solution to my problem that cost a fraction of what another plumber quoted. They were prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Jay was also insightful when it came to some other potential water issues. I hope I don’t need a plumber again any time soon, but if I do, I would call them again in a heartbeat.

We were very pleased with John Baethke & Son's service. I really like how they gave us a tight half hour window for the service technician's arrival and sent an email with a photo of our technician. Cormac was very professional and I could tell that he was well trained in not only plumbing, but also in how to interact with clients. He showed me exactly what work needed to be done and quoted the flat rate before starting work - no hidden costs (yay!). We'll definitely be using John Baethke & Son Plumbing again.

Jan, George, and Dave at Vanguard are good people. Trustworthy, thorough, and reliable. They've always been clear and non-patronizing when they explain what they're doing, and have not only made sure that my plumbing problems are solved, but that any adjacent/potential future issues are identified and explained clearly (without trying to upsell me). I highly recommend them. They clearly care a lot about what they do and it shows.

Wow is all I have to say about Jesus and this amazing company! 10/10! They were way more reasonable that other quotes I received and Jesus was a dream to work with. Super responsive, on time, and explained things slowly and easily so I could understand lol. He replaced 2 sections of broken pipe outside, one under grass, the other under concrete, they had to hand dig everything too, about 5 ft down. They were able to do the work in a very timely manner as well! His crew was very nice and did a great job. Would highly recommend and will absolutely be using them again in the future!! Thanks Jesus!!

First Chicago are my go-to plumbers. This is the third time I have used them personally, and I have referred several friends and colleagues to them. They do great work, are professional, and are reasonably priced.

I scheduled a repair for a shower head. Since weekends were an additional charge, I took an off day from work and scheduled it for first thing in the morning. When the appointment time came, no call and no show. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

They are very communicative, texting and calling before appointments and answer all your questions and propose options for solutions. My building also has them on file so working with them is much easier from an association perspective. When the actual job was done Brian came by, and explained everything he did and gave me options for my next phase of remodeling.

Thought it was ejector pump that needed replacing, but it was only the valve. Honest, professional service. Will use this company again. Highly recommend!

WARNING!! TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS DO NOT USE APEX Plumbing and Sewer Services!!!! They improperly installed a sump pump in my finished basement in May 2022. They DO NOT back there services! I have tried to reach the owners on 3 occasions to explain that the pump failed after 10 months and got no call back. A more reputable company came in and explained to me that their was work was sloppy and not properly installed. Specifically. they did not replace a broken check valve and did not properly fasten and seal the sump pump cover. Plus the fact that their Made in China pump failed and refused to contact me and explain themselves after I sought a partial refund. I paid $2500 for this work which took less than a hour for them to complete. Also a ridiculous amount given a pump casts approx. $500. THEY ARE RIP-OFFS! I am reporting them to BBB and I warn anybody to use a more reputable company.

Great timely service. GO-Rooter did a major Plumbing job on my 19 Unit Building in the Roseland area of Chicago. Great price for the job that needed to be done! We will be using them on all our properties going forward!

I had a really good experience working with Pete and Noah on a clog and catch basin cleanout at my condo building. They're professional and showed up on time. Pete is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all my questions. We'll be calling them again to help us with future projects for sure!

Power plumbing took advantage of my pregnant wife on a house call to diagnose a shower that didn't get hot. They were unclear about how the total cost of the service would be calculated, did not explain options along with their costs clearly, and ended up taking 4.5 hours + an expensive part that was more than 40% cheaper next door at Home Depot. Total bill was over $800 and the shower still doesn't get hot consistently. We have found the same type of job in our area should cost between $200-400 with parts and labor.

Their owner has yelled at us and blamed us repeatedly when we have challenged the bill and brought up the shower not working. they have shown no interest in trying to solve an issue for the customer. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Excelent work they installed a new waterline in a day. They offer high quality service and work fast. They are very responsive. Very happy with the work
