Our main drain clogged Saturday night. Called Sunday morning.Leonard(#1479) was at our house by 10am. He was careful and explained everything. First try did not work. His Supervisor,Bob, came out with the camera. Attempted to clear in different location and success! Bob explained what may need to be done in the future, but there was no pressure. Best money we could have spent, Very pleased made our weekend.

Needed new garbage disposal unit due to leak. Vanguard asked for pictures in advance to assess the space and set up. They deducted a potential issue with the piping and how that would impact the performance of the water discharge of the unit. Pipes were too high, allowing water to sit in the unit. Could rust and cause unit to fail faster. They presented options. Once on site they saw they could flip discharge with dishwasher, which had proper pipe level. Very happy that they provided options and potential issues and not just show up and swap out a new unit. I paid more for the extra work - but it was done right.

First Chicago Plumbing gave us a quote based on pictures we sent, at no charge. The final bill matched the estimate exactly (aside from the fact that they discovered on-site that we needed a new garbage disposal--which, parts and labor, was an additional $320). Very thorough, and they walked us through everything. The price was very fair.

I would highly recommend the entire 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC for standing with me when I had no one to run to. They were able to arrive on time and took care of the pipe that had just burst.

Edwin Flores is excellent to work with. He has done a few jobs for St. Chrysostom’s Church. Edwin is reasonable and does a good job. Edwin will not try to charge for unnecessary services.

We called them out and they continued to make up issues as they worked that of course would cost more to fix. They were able to turn a $300 job into a $1000 fix. Dishonest people who have no interest in repeat business.

Good service but no communication

These guys are pros. Replaced a faucet and did some sink repairs back in July, hired them again to install a disposal today. They were very professional and were here within hours. Recommend them to anyone in the area looking for plumbing work. A+

Mike and his crew were extremely professional, responsible, on time and did an OUTSTANDING job for me. His company is licensed and he knows what the proper codes and permits require to pass village inspections. My job was extremely complicated and Mike and his team worked with the Village to ensure it was done right. I would trust him to do any job from small to commercial and want you to know that he is completely trustworthy and honest. His prices are fair as well.

Sam responded very quickly to my request to repair a leaky shower faucet that was quite old. I was able to send him photos so that he could source the replacement part. He arrived at my home the following day with the correct part and completed the repair to my total satisfaction. Great experience!

Juan and Antonio were nothing short of amazing! They were very attentive and patient with the projects I had requested. They took the time to educate me on what, where and why of the project. They stay connected to their customer throughout the entire process of the project. Something that gets overlooked these days is responsiveness… They are very responsive, easy to get ahold of, and show up to perform the job when they say they will.

Completed Jobs: Installed a new water heater along with new piping. Installed a new Kohler toilet with a new wax ring, bolts, and supply line. Also, replaced sink pop up assembly, extension, 45 and trap.

We stumbled on to 4S Plumbing unwittingly through a referral from another plumber that wasn't able to help us. It was a happy accident though. Our plumber Tim was not only professional but an all-around nice guy who was happy to answer questions and look at other plumbing and leak issues around the house.

Tim had come to replace a kitchen faucet, but by the end of the visit our jammed garbage disposal was working and our previously useless upstairs bath had water pressure. Except for the faucet, these were all relatively simple fixes that a less scrupulous plumber could have easily have used to run up the bill. At the end of the day, half of our household maintenance list was checked off, and our bill was less than $400.

As for the backend, Bill responded immediately to our call, scheduling Tim's visit within a few hours. Billing was prompt, and all labor and parts charges were clearly delineated in an email receipt, which we were able to pay online.

In short, 4S is prompt, professional, modern and above all incredibly honest.
