I had a tenant without hot water so I called John. He scheduled an appointment right away. He provided a very detailed inspection which I appreciated and provided 3 different options to address the problem. Then he suggested we go the most inexpensive route! New tank installed same day in a couple of hours. No mess left behind. Nice and honest guy, great service.

Called Baethke & Son again because we had water leaking in through drains in the basement. They sent someone out same day, assessed the situation, provided a repair proposal, and completed the job swiftly after we approved the proposal. This company is great. Plumbers are very thorough, skilled, reasonably priced, and always clean up after themselves. Love the service.

We had a main line sewer clog on a Sunday. Andre (#8971) came out and got everything working! He found the source of the blockage and cleared the tree roots from the sewer line. He showed me the problem areas on the camera and explained things to me in terms I could understand. I appreciate his diligence, hard work and all the time and effort he put in to fixing the problem. I had to replace a toilet in a bathroom where the spaces were tight. After viewing photographs, Jan figured out the one model, a Gerber Viper, that would fit in the space. They were able to schedule me in very quickly. George, an experienced plumber, and Chris, an apprentice, hauled the new toilet up three flights of stairs, put it together, installed it, and then hauled the old toilet away, and remained pleasant and calm during the whole process. Dealing with the 90-year-old pipes in my bathroom must have been challenging, but it actually took a little less time than had been estimated. Everything was cleaned up before they left.

I've used Rocket a number of times and have never had a complete. This time around I had Jake and Tyler come out to fix a rusted out spigot. They did an excellent job in repair and explaining what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend Rocket.

I hired another company in the Chicago area who specializes in gas fire pit Installations to install a fire pit on my rooftop. The company showed up without the correct equipment to do the job and left me in a bind as I needed the fire pit for a party that evening. I called Rob late morning on a Friday and told him my situation. I sent him a few photos of what was needed. He went out of his way to accommodate me into his schedule. I had a lit fire pit by 4pm!! His service was nothing short of spectacular. I will definitely use him again!

Jake from J Blanton Plumbing came out in Dec 2018, evaluated my situation and returned with a replacement water heater. Installation was flawless, including exhaust ducting changes - once completed my hot water was flowing again. Since then I've had J Blanton Plumbing come out for an annual checkup and again I was very satisfied. I would highly recommend J Blanton Plumbing for water heater projects.

We were quoted approximately $2000 for 4 hours of work to replace an old concrete utility sink—including removal—which is obscene. The average hourly rate for a plumber according to google is $45 - $150 an hour. We decided to do it ourselves and the materials cost about $120. Add to that $600–let’s be generous and go with $150/hour—and that comes to $720. So, why are they charging more than twice that? I’m happy to pay good money for good work but it’s hard for me to see how they’re not taking advantage of people

Angel and Nikko came through in a big way for me late in the afternoon on a Sunday. They were extremely fast at responding to my afterhours request, showed up immediately, and quickly went to work - saved me (and my neighbor downstairs) from a potentially expensive water damage repair. Hopefully I never have a plumbing issue again, but if I do, Power Plumbing will be my first call and I will ask for Angel and Nikko.

Professional crew, were prompt and on schedule, did what it took to solve the problem on a single visit, explained things to me along the way and will gladly be a reference for them.

My under sink hot water dispenser quit working. After receiving an outrageously high quote from another plumbing company (Bishop Plumbing rates are beyond ridiculous - about 4X) , I was lucky enough to find Apex. The owner answered the phone and dispatched someone for the next day. The next day was a huge snow storm, but they followed up first thing in the morning and actually showed up while most of the city was shut down. John, the technician did a great job, was very personable and the fee was very reasonable. This is the way it should work!
