He answered my call and made sure he came to my client's property that same day. Pete is terrific; he diagnoses the problem, provides a solution, and presents a very fair price.

We had a clog in our sewer line, and the rain was heavy. Roto-Rooter quoted us almost $500 to unclog the pipe. We were assured that we would not be charged anything if they were unable to clear the line. They were able to pull the clog out and in the process broke some pvc pipe and it is now lodged in the pipe leading out to the main sewer line. We now have a very expensive repair to make and they refuse to refund us a portion of our first payment. Beware! They are predatory.

Jan and Vanguard Plumbing made dealing with a bad situation (a 4 year old water heater started leaking for no reason other than it is a lemon) a very positive experience. Jan is very responsive and kept me in the loop until an agreed upon course of action could be reached, and his crew was prompt, polite, very capable, and cleaned the area up when they finished the job. I highly recommend them!

I had First Chicago out to move some pipes while remodeling my master bathroom. They went the extra mile and made quick work of the job. To move the shower lines, tub plumbing to accommodate a freestanding tub and tub filler installation it took them only 4 hours. The price was also much better than others I received quotes from in the area. Highly recommend!

Called due to my sewer line backing up, they came in and hydro jetted the line and showed me with their camera how bad the roots were and after they were done the line looked brand new from inside, extremely happy and will recommend. Their crew was polite and professional.
