Nathan did a terrific job replacing my hot water heater. He took the time to answer all my questions and to do a thorough professional installation. Baethke is certainly not the cheapest plumbing company around. But if you want a quality job done right the first time with no aggravation, sometimes it is worth the extra expense. You can’t go wrong with Nathan and Baethke from a quality point of view.

Had a few other quotes but went with Vanguard. The team is great to work with - straightforward, on time, explained the work, didn't oversell. The first project was a small one but I'm planning future work with them.

I called for my dad at 8:30am - busted pipe to the outdoor spigot and water was all under his back porch addition. They came when they said they would. Called for an emergency weekend appointment at 9pm Saturday. Said someone would come out. 2 hours after I called I had not heard anything. I called the office abd Person assured us someone would be out and would call us soon. At midnight I assumed no one was coming and went to bed. No call, no show all weekend when I have sewage flooding my house. Totally unacceptable as a business.

Pablo communicated very well on getting a catch basin serviced. He is very knowledgeable, professional & transparent on things which was helpful In helping figure out the root problem.

Do not hire this company! They will take your money and not fix the real problem. In addition, John is very rude and condescending. I’m glad he’s able to afford $1k toilets throughout his home.
After charging $2,500 one day for a laundry room leak/backup, returning the next day for a backup they caused in downstairs unit in both bathtubs, charging $750 to look at that issue and clean bathtubs, shutting off water to a toilet after saying it was leaking and giving a $1300 quote to replace toilet, saying backups were our fault for not taking care of the issue earlier, and finally writing up a quote for another $12k to tear up driveway, replace drainage pipes, and put a new clean out.
Why were we charged all the previous charges if John learned what the issue was at the beginning?
Update: Hired a new plumber. A true professional. Eric Carlson from Precision Today. From the beginning, he gave options, explained everything, and fixed the issues in two days.

If possible, please avoid this company like the plague. They have no sense of professionalism or courtesy. We have dealt with them on multiple occasions before and actually had to hire a different group of plumbers to assess the situation. We have them the information of where we were told the leak was by a group that can actually do their jobs.They completely disregarded our comments and continued to do whatever work they deemed “correct”. We are only using them because the home owners association is forcing us to even though they have not been able to solve this problem for the past year and a half. They also just destroyed our entire shower wall because they are still unable to find the problem. 0/10
