Best Bathroom Plumbing Company in Chicago IL

Answered the phone on the first ring and had a next day appointment for a leaky bathroom faucet repair or replacement. Though, they would only quote the $90 service call and would not provide (over the phone or email) any costs beyond that. I emailed photos of the faucet and requested that we discuss having a replacement on hand to eliminate a second service call, but they would not do that, stating that parts could be run out from their warehouse same day (I am skeptical here). I spoke to two other plumbers who were happy to provide repair vs. replacement costs up front, before the service call, so I could make an intelligent decision on costs and repair vs replacement. Especially, since I have the exact same faucet in another bathroom, and want them to match (not to mention the faucets are the same age and the other one is likely to leak at some point, as well). Cancelled my (convenient) next day appointment with them. Worth it to eliminate pricing surprises. Will go with someone else.

Our 100+yr old cast iron stack pipe broke and split in several places. Zuniga and his team removed the entire pipe, attic to basement, and placed a new one in 2 days. He was always on time, responsive to texts and phone calls, and professional. He worked with us to get water restoration to dry out our walls and ceilings and stayed in contact with that project manager in order to work with our home insurance. They made sure to cover my floors and cabinets with tarps and cleaned up afterwards. Walter always kept us up to date on what steps needed to be done. When he ended up not having to do some of the work he initially quoted us on, he adjusted the bill. We paid half up front and the other half at completion of the project. We would 100% recommend him.

Bad service. I called on February 1st around 6:30AM because a pipe froze and cracked. I shut off the water line and called Apex. The lady said someone would be over. Around 8:30AM I called again to make sure someone would still show up and the lady said I would receive a call from the plumber 30 minutes prior arriving. It's been already over a week and NEVER got a response. I got it fix the same day but now I know I can't rely on this company.

I got two quotes to replace an old metal drum trap underneath the shower and Psp Plumbing was 55% lower than their competitor's price. Both companies said the job was 2-4 hours. Psp Plumbing was able to give a quote based on photos sent, gave a certificate of insurance, gave their company W-9, and offered flexible financing all before starting any work.

The replacement was completed the right way and within 2 hours. They arrived on time, professionally dressed, had all the correct parts, and removed all trash before they left. They also noticed and took the time to bring to my attention other plumbing violations and explained clearly the hazard associated.

They came out promptly just after a 5-6 am phone call and inspected the issue. After our DIY renovation required more plumbing work than we expected, we called Tony on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate on what it would take to get our project back on track. Tony made time that very afternoon. He gave us a detailed overview of what was required, including options that would keep our kitchen up to code and was able to come back the following Monday to complete the work. Tony is also a licensed electrician and agreed to take care of some electrical work, saving us the time and energy finding another person to help with our project. A few short days later, we're back on track and ready to move on with our renovation. We can't thank Tony enough!

Not free but no gouging either.

Mo came within 24 hours of contacting him to fix a couple of patches of water damaged ceiling. He did a great job repairing the ceiling and was very friendly as well. He even checked out the plumbing work we had recently had done in our bathtub and added a bit of silicone to make sure we definitely wouldn’t have more leaks (at no extra charge). I would definitely recommend Mo to others as he is skilled and reasonably priced.

We have used Ed”s Plumbing prior to today’s visit. These guys are great to work with. The technician John has been here before and moved up the appointment time to better serve my husband”s schedule. This company does not even deserve 1 star. Worst plumbing company. Do yourself a favor and look for other companies out there.

I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!
