Our fixer, Nate, was thorough and proactive in all the work he did. He identified areas to make the work and repairs better, and went above and beyond to help us get a great outcome. We purchased the membership and plan to use a fixer for several other repairs around our property!

We needed a handyperson in Chicago to fix a leaky PVC pipe under our sink/garbage disposal.Initially, we hopped on taskrabbit but after browsing through a bunch of profiles, it seemed that all the good ones were booked out or unavailable.After that failed experiment, we turned to Fixer based on a recommendation and couldn't be more happy with our decision. They arranged for someone to come out that same day and took care of the plumbing issue in under an hour or two. Their technicians were simply fantastic. The two handywomen that arrived were knowledgeable, super friendly, and professional. They addresses the problem, communicated with us at every step, and replaced the leaky pipes in a timely manner.It's worth noting that Fixer's prices were very reasonable. No question, we will use them again for future home repairs based on how easy and simple it was to book. We highly recommend trying them out if you need a handy person to help you knock out smaller projects around the house like plumbing repairs or electrical work in the Chicagoland area. Thanks again!

We never used fixer before and we’re desperate to find a trustworthy solution to our around the house needs. Fixer sent us Angel and he was the best handyman we have ever had. He arrived exactly in on time knew what was needed worked quickly and was easy to talk to. Great job Angel!!

My experience with Fixers was awesome. Andrew and Nino are amazing! I just moved into my house and had a list of to-do’s for them including installing ceiling fan, replacing kitchen faucet, fixing closet doors, assembling an office desk and two bath cabinets. They did not disappoint. Very professional, polite. and on time. I’ve join the Fixer Care program that offers amazing perks for future visits. I highly recommend this company.

I had a list of relatively small projects but all creating difficulties for me. Yosef was on time, very competent and professional. He worked quickly, explained any issues thoroughly and asked for a broom to clean up when he was done. It was a very positive experience

Easy to schedule and work with. Been using them for a few years now and not once have they done anything less than a seller job. Used them to mount TVs, fix doors, bathroom exhaust fans, mount curtain rods among many other tasks.

Needed assistance with moving a bathroom vanity to our 2nd floor when delivery left us hanging. Fixer was able to schedule us for same-day service and Andrew, our technician, was a huge help to us with both moving the furniture and install. We recommend him!

Handyman sent to install two faucets and replace two shut off valves ended up creating two plumbing leaks. I had to hire another plumber and it cost $2k to fix. Professional plumber noted the person created code violations as well. Handyman had also sent unprofessional texts. Would not use again after this experience or recommend.

I contacted Fixer to remove exterior rooftop doors and trim, haul away debris, install new door jambs, exterior doors, and storm doors, and seal everything around the brick exterior. Fixer was responsive and able to accommodate my needs in a short window where other contractors I dealt with could not. The fixers arrived on time and did an excellent job meeting my requirements. I especially want to shout out to Roman for keeping a very open line of communication and walking me through the work periodically over the two days. If I ever need to use Fixer again, I would ask for Roman. My only constructive feedback, and the reason for four stars and not five, is the “communication” with the Fixer office. I was never able to speak to someone over the phone. Images and text messages are not a sufficient replacement for an actual live conversation, especially when spending close to $5,000 on a job. Rather than just relying upon the photos I sent to be sufficient for Fixer to determine the hours needed and resources required, I opted to pay the $139 consulting fee for Roman to actually stop out for a review. We both agreed that the 3.5-4.5 hrs of work that Fixer quoted me was going to be far too little. I even told Fixer up front that the job would likely need three fixers for the better part of two days. I know this because my neighbor recently had the exact same work done. I couldn’t help but feel like such a lowball estimate was just a way to get into the project, and I’d end up requiring the same amount of work I said it needed from the very beginning. There were also a couple items of miscommunication because all of it is done via text message. Not a big problem, but definitely noticeable when a phone call would have been more efficient. Overall yes, I would use Fixer again - but for less important work where texting to communicate is sufficient.EDIT: I realize the owner responded below with instructions of how to set up a call, but I asked several times over text message to have a phone call, and those specific texts were ignored. So I went along with the text messaging route instead.

Hi,Not honest people with poor work done.Last November the n 2022,To fix the squeaking sounds of the 6 new doors charged about $ 500 for 3& half hours. The fixer just killed the time with playing back and forth of the electric driver on the door hinges.He charged all the chatting with which I refused and even said him to go.At last, they cut $ 70 out of $500 which took two months to get it.Then soon after, two doors have a squeaking sound back but the fixer refused to fix it. The reason is the warranty is a month but at the beginning, the customer said they can do it whenever after the service.Such a poor business and dishonest people

I hired Fixer to replace stubborn, corroded shower diverters. My condo has not had plumbing updates since it was built in the 1960’s so there is no diy-ing any fixtures without potential problems. My request went out and within 10 minutes I heard from Fixer that someone could address this next day, if needed. Fixer responded almost as fast in getting required paperwork to my HOA - then it was on the next day’s schedule! A plumber, Lex, arrived (early!), removed the corroded items, determined the materials to fit the job, installed them and then explained what to look for if this is a problem in the future. He also found materials that are easy on arthritic hands. The reason I would hire again is responsiveness, interest in a job that others might find mundane, and doing it to fit the needs of the customer. They were also reasonably priced.

Used fixers services two times already in Seattle, Bellevue area and they are very professional and deliver high quality work. I wish they had more license to do different jobs but what they do is best so far.

Sherri arrived on time, super informative and efficient. Quality of painting and electrical work was five stars. Awesome to get things fixed and done that just don't get done these days, with a smile and quickly along with great attention to detail. Five stars across the board. We look forward to another round of projects in and around the house here in North Seattle. Excellent job and a great idea for us homeowners.

Very slow, unexperienced, expensive, and low quality of work (they could cause more damage than fixing things). Waste of time and money. They charge by the minute, but they are inefficient, and not prepared to fix the smallest things.

I have used fixer in two of my houses and had the same issue with both these places1. At one house I wanted sink faucet to be replaced.2. At another house wanted deadbolt to be replaced.Let me tell each case in detail1. At place 1 kitchen faucet was leaking and the issue was with the facuet pipe wire, and the fixer went and brought a replacement, while keeping the shopping clock run. Guess what, he brought a wrong pipe, and he could not fix it. And I was charged the whole amount for 1 hour of work plus shopping time, while the issue was not fixed. While I passed it off and left without complaining.2. I booked them again for my another house to replace deadbolts in my door. Guess what, the fixer brought the wrong product and spent lot of time fixing that wrong deadbolt on my door, while I was charged for the time and also for shopping. Since he could not fix it, he came the next day with another fixer and fixed it. Again I was charged for the next days hourly effort.This time I complained because it costed me almost 400$ (excluding the cost of the deadbolts) to get the deadbolts replaced.I have never had such expensive deadbolt replacements in my life, I had to argue with them to get the price reduced, and they gave me a paltry 25$ to 35$ discount.Pathetic way to bleed customers money. I would not recommend fixer to anyone. And BEWARE new/existing customers, if they bring wrong products, talk to them to cancel your entire charge, if not you will end up paying 400$ instead of 139$.

This is the second time I’ve used Fixer, and I’ve been very satisfied with both experiences. For both visits, my Fixer was Andrew M. He’s a very conscientious worker and has always been on time and completed work in the estimated time frames. He’s also patient in explaining answers to questions I had about the repairs - so I also learned some things from him. I appreciate Fixer providing such competent and friendly staff.

This service is amazing. Such an easy process to check everything off my list. Technicians were responsive, professional and efficient. Very pleased with the work, would hire again.

I booked a Fixer consult for replacing the entrance door(Aug 1st arriving between 10:00 and 11:00 AM). I was charged $139 for 1-hour service. On Aug 1st, Brian P and Cleo C arrived at 10:10 AM. They measured my door and left at 10:22 AM. I am supposed to receive a detailed plan for door replacement within 3 business days. However, it's been a whole month now. I never heard from Fixer again.

At first I didn’t believe Fixer was to going to deliver on their promises. Boy, was I wrong. My Fixer arrived on time, we walked thru the items on my punch list, he asked, and I answered questions about each item. Time flew as he zoomed thru my list. I’m very impressed! Plus, for the price, it was well worth it. I’m very happy to have had a professional working my house.

I hired this company to hang mirrors and other misc. items in my new bridal store location. the guys were great but when I went to pay my bill they asked for feedback. I felt I wasn't given a realistic time frame of how long the job should take. The guys that came were good, on time and careful but hanging 8 mirrors, some very large, in 2 hours couldn't have happened. Long story short, I gave this feedback to the company and they credited me back 2 hours worth of my payment. I didn't ask for any money off my bill because the guys weren't extremely slow or anything, I was just given an unrealistic time frame. This shows me that they care and would want me to use their services again and I will!

I booked several services 3 weeks in advance. I gave detail about what needed to be done and all of it was simple stuff(changing batteries etc). I told them I had high ceilings (estimated at 15 feet actually 13). At 7pm on the the night before 9am scheduled visit I got a txt saying we have reviewed and (despite nothing changing since I booked) they would be sending a second fixer at an additional $139//hr. When I texted back they said that since it was 15 ft they had now decided a second person needed to hold the ladder at a cost of $139/hr. I wasn't asked if it was ok. I wasn't asked if the ceiling were really 15 ft( I measured. They aren't) Needless to say I cancelled this service.

The Fixer app has literally fixed all my problems just by being there for me when I need it.Its the middle of the heatwave and for whatever reason my ceiling fan broke so my number one priority is getting a new one installed ASAP, I reached out to fixer on a friday night exactly when the fan broke and the first availability was Monday morning and my fixer was here exactly when they said they would be.Unfortunately, my fan needed a different mount but my fixer told me what to go into Home Depot and ask for help for and tried his best to help me in the situation and I really appreciate that!He accidentally left his box cutter here and I was able to reach out in a text that was was responded to by an actual person that helped to fix the situation!*Long story short* - Whatever your problem may be just make sure you put as much information as possible in your request and someone from fixer will try and help you fix your problem!

Rescheduled twice. Showed up on time for 3rd appointment. Good professional fan install. Slight overcharge at the end but happy with service. However, will not be my first choice in future due to two missed appointments. Showing up on time the first time is very important to me.

Repairs and installations performed efficiently and with expertise. I like that I get the same handyman each quarter who is familiar with my home and what will work best for us.

The Fixer team, Chris and Erin, were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They showed up on time, we spent a few minutes talking about the issues, and they quickly formed a game plan. They came back and finished the job next day with very good quality. I'd definitely recommend Fixer to anyone who needs handyman services. You will not be disappointed!

Aaron and Angel arrived on time and very efficiently fixed the water damaged drywall on our ceiling for a very reasonable price. It looks good as new. This is my first time using fixer but will definitely use this service again.

The repairs were done quickly and professionally. This was much easier and quicker than I thought. Prices are great and they are very transparent about costs. Definitely recommend!PS: I was able to book them and communicate with them online and with texts which is another big plus for me that I didn't have to make any phone calls.

Felix from fixer was right on time to fix the leak in the sink in one of my apartments, he is knowledgeable and he was able to figure out the parts we needed easily. He did a very great job and he was very considerate in timing the work done which helped put my repair cost in a very good place. I will use this technician again and I recommend Fixer.

Hard Pass.First time I had fixer over, their electrician was supposed to install a smart thermostat. He didn't shut off the power to part of the unit and fried the motherboard. Had to call Deljo to come fix it emergently.- This cost 700-800 bucks. Fortunately they cut me a check for the replacement board. I still had to pay labor.Second time I had them over, I asked for 2 things.1) Change the lightbulb above a stair case (they did great) 2) I asked them to fix a 3-way switch that wasn't working properly.- The 3 way switch should've taken less than hour to fix. Fixer charged me for 2.5 hours @ 139/hr ~$350 + fees and didn't fix the switch a 3-way as requested.Instead (accidentally took my Lutron smart switches) and replaced the 2 way switch with... a 2 way switch.Had to argue w/ them some to get a reduced rate of 2 hours. Had to argue more to get it reduced to 1 hour.I think they mean well, but honestly the items should be sold as per job basis instead of hourly. If your electrician/fixer doesn't have the necessary supplies to get the job done or takes too long for a specific job, why should I be responsible for it.Also I fell that the $139/hr fee is too high. Many contractors/electricians charge ~75/hr on average for these simple jobs. ie less than half of fixers rate and typically much more efficient.First time they messed up, I bit my tongue since I got a check for the cost of their error and I understand things happen.As they say: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.Won't be making the mistake of hiring them again.

This used to be a solid service provider. Not anymore. They don’t have the right folks and do not assess the scope before sending people out. Then they like to charge you for just swinging by. Will never use them again!!!

Erin is excellent! She fixed my window in no problem. She even did it on Memorial Day! Fixer has always been a great fix it for me. Everything I need a handyman/handywoman to do they have done it.

The first person sent was unable to install my light fixture. They sent Linda the next day & she was amazing. Figured out the problems immediately, hung the light fixture without issue & cleaned up. I was not charged for 2nd visit which was suggested without me having to ask. I was really impressed with Fixer (and with Linda!)

The guys who came in to mount or TV and speaker, run some cabling and install new outlets were really, really excellent! Not just providing us with high quality work, but also great advice, they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! We’ll definitely be using this company in the future and highly recommend them.

Fixer is modern, efficient and transparent. They've done an awesome job of taking a difficult process (finding and hiring a contractor or service technician) and making it super easy. It was easy to book an appointment. The two guys who mounted our TV were professional and got the job done quickly. They took care of the equipment and made sure it all functioned well. The billing was transparent. Two techs helped with this project, and I could see the billing for each one them broken out online. It was easy to pay (through their website) and even tip via their website. I'd highly recommend this service because it really has solved a lot of the friction and stress of securing and paying for this kind of work.

Nino B and Andrew M are easily THE BEST professional you can Hired. On time, great work and both have wonderful personalities. I haven’t feel this happy hiring someone to help me. From now on fixer will be the only company I use because of guys like that. I can’t tell you how happy I am finally finding a company I can trust after all these years.

They were on time and quickly went to work to hang two kitchen cabinets doors under the sink and because in order to properly install them they had to reinforce where the doors were to be installed,they explain why they needed to do this, once they were finished, I inspected their work and found that had did a excellent job of installing the two doors to my satisfaction, would highly recommend theses two women to fix your problems at your home. Thanks good job everyone.

I contacted Fixer to repair two screens and one patio door. I had sent photos before the appointment, and showed the fixers when they arrived. During the walk through assessment, the repairman estimated that it would take 1-2 hours, and the cost would be minimal. I thought that was great, and the estimate was much lower than what I had anticipated. I checked in on the fixers several times, and watched the fixer bust a hole in one of my screens with his screwdriver as he was trying to undo the screw on the wheel. It looked like an accident, but now I have a hole in the screen that I’ll need to fix. After two hours, the fixer asked me to inspect the work done, and I was surprised that I still couldn’t easily open the door. I mentioned this, and was then told that the fixers are not able to fix that. The total cost was $300, for two screens. I could have done that myself, as he really only sprayed a lot of WD40 on it. I then asked someone from Fixer to contact me, as I was a little frustrated, and no one bothered to call to follow-up. I won’t use Fixer again.

They fixed our broken pocket door, changed our Hoppe lock color, fixed a hole in our door and aligned another door. Excellent job, very professional, hard worker, would definitely hire again!!

VERY happy with the work done. Came out same day, worked quickly and efficiently, and securely mounted the speakers I needed installed. Cannot recommend them highly enough and will user Fixer for future work.

Cleo was a my fixer and was great. This is a great service. Booked and completed same day.

Needed someone to fix a tile and a small piece of drywall before a home inspection. I was happy with the ease and availability of getting an appointment. Their customer service was responsive. However, 30 minutes before the appointment, I was told the Fixer was no longer available and the appointment was cancelled. On such short notice, I didn't have enough time to find someone else before the inspection, and now my inspection is in jeopardy of going poorly.

I have waited for months to leave this review, thinking that they could remedy the situation. I'll get to the point quickly and say if you need a TV mounted or some other basic task completed, they will do a good job and I like that they pay their workers a fair wage. I'm more than willing to pay extra for that. If you want any specialized work or anything that requires more work than something you could do yourself but you'd rather farm out, DO NOT use Fixer.The first time I used them, I had a couple of tvs mounted and they did a great job. It did take them a long time and the fee was pretty big. I can't find the invoice but I think it was around $800 or so. Due to the above rationale, I was fine paying the fee.The second time I used them, I asked that they assemble a standing desk. It took HOURS. The guy couldn't figure out how to adjust the desk after he put it together and wanted to call the job done and leave without adjusting the ADJUSTABLE desk. I figured it out myself (he hadn't put everything back on the desk and this is a non-motorized adjustable desk which requires weight to work).The third time I used them is the reason that I finally had to write a review. I moved into my house in May and my microwave broke within a few months of me moving here. I realized that the builders had taken a short-cut and instead of installing a drawer microwave, had installed a countertop microwave and put some supports in the cabinet cavity/threw a trim kit on it and called it a day. I explained the situation to Fixer and asked if they could help me. The customer service team replied that they could definitely do that and would send someone over. Upon arrival, the person they sent said he could absolutely not handle this job and that I need a cabinet specialist and then the charged me $129 for the visit, which they eventually removed after I insisted they do so. They then reached out and said they wanted to fix the situation and they said they had found a microwave and someone to install it. Great. I'm always willing to give someone an extra chance. They show up with a microwave... which is broken. So, after I made sure to be home from work/scheduled this way in advance, still no microwave. They were very apologetic so I (again) held off on writing a bad review. They told me customer service would reach out. Days went by... nothing. I reached out to them and they apologized and said that they had ordered a new microwave and would be in touch when it was delivered which was scheduled for January 13th. The 13th came and went and I again reached out to them and they said, oh we have the microwave. We can install it on the 17th (MLK Day). I hesitantly agreed. They arrived today with the non-broken microwave. This time the installers realized right away that the microwave didn't fit the cavity. Keep in mind that they had already been here twice and had measured the cavity. They were so apologetic and it wasn't the actual installation team's fault so I just nodded and let them leave. THEN they charged me $129 for the visit again, which I'm currently asking them to remove.Overall, I think if you have a quick handy-person job, they do a pretty good job but anything that requires any level of preparation, measurement or skill, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

I needed 3 window screens re screened. The Fixer was on time; and did a fine job. I will definitely use this firm again.

The platform is so easy to use, and I felt very confident being able to upload photos and descriptions of the projects ahead of time. Our handyman Nathan was very detailed and gave great advice on a couple additional projects as well. Will definitely hire again! Rates are competitive to others in the downtown Chicago area.

Brian P. removed an old bathroom faucet for me. It was a difficult job as the faucet was about 50 years old and not easy to reach. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat.You guys rock!

The Fixer male and female handy people did an excellent job eliminating dents in an external steel door. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. They obviously knew what they were doing. They communicated clearly and were very friendly. I would recommend Fixer to friends and relatives without hesitation.

I’ve had a number of positive past experiences with Fixer, but this last one did not sit well with me. The team a – a fixer and a trainee – took two hours for a 1:1 pendant light swap, and mere minutes after they left I realized they caused another light not to work. I reached out to try and get someone to come back out that day, but no go, so the next day (and some dark cooking) had to suffice. I spoke with the concierge and asked them to, in addition to the person coming to fix the issue the following day, have the manager call me, as I had an issue with how long it took, and the clear slowdowns caused as part of the training process. I don’t mind my place being used for training – we all have been there – but not on my dime. Although the issue was fixed the next day and was related to the work that was done by the Fixer team, and I was credited for some of the time taken by the trainee, my request for a manager callback went ignored. Not sure why that is, but since the manager doesn’t want to hear my feedback on the experience and the billing situation caused by the trainee, I’ll provide it here.

Fixer has literally been a life saver for all things home improvement. They deliver high quality results in a very quick amount of time. I'm grateful for this company & would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Not happy with their Customer Service and Scheduling. Registered on their website, sent a few pictures and had someone come out and look at a ceiling that only needed a small patch up with drywall and paint. The individual stated that it could be done in 1 day and half. We decided to reschedule and the individual stated that customer service would contact me. They never did. I had to contact them a week later to schedule. So I schedule to have the same individual to take care of the Drywall and Paint. Two weeks later I get a text message that they had cancelled the repair because they thought a project manager would need to take a look. Why would the project manager not visit the first time when I sent the pictures. I just was disappointed since I had sent the pictures in my initial request and that was close to two and half weeks in viewing pictures and making that arbitrary decision. I decided to move with another individual.

Fixer’s Care and Protect program has allowed me to catch up on the deferred maintenance in my old victorian house!I alway have a list, so I signed up for the Care and Protect program. It gives me a discount, and lets me reserve a set time once or twice a month *in advance* with my assigned Fixer.I prefer to schedule the work in full days, and it’s great knowing when Fixer Becky will be here next.When something comes up to be fixed (like leveling the bookcase sitting at a lean on my wavy wood floors) or upgraded (like adding a medallion to that plain ceiling) on the house, I just add it to the list.Highly recommend!

I was looking for a handyman to install my shower tub door. Fixer responded to my project request on Yelp and was at my condo within an hour. Although they were not the cheapest in town, because they came so quick and provided an expert level of service, it was well worth it. Very convenient!

Recently they helped redo a large door track and get very heavy doors in place. Angel and Jose did a great job. This company always does well and can handle many types of projects.

We are so thrilled with the work Fixers did in our apartment! Request Edgar and DeAngelo- they installed a 13-foot long shelf into a metal stud about 12 feet up a wall in under 90 minutes. They wore shoe covers and completely cleaned up when they left. The concierge was also very helpful and we were able to communicate through text, which was convenient. Great prices, very professional, awesome work. Will be using this service again in the near future!

Everything went smoothly and was done very professionally, more so than when I've tried to hire my own folks via craigslist or facebook etc. I plan to use them again when I have things to do that are not major construction.

Third or 4th time I have called and used this service, excellent people, did above and beyond what was required, got in and out, super courteous.

What a waste of time. We had a repair problem. I called this company. Sent them numerous instructions, pictures, details about the repair needed. This company assured me that it would not be a problem. I spent my day at home waiting for them to arrive and scheduled time out of work. First the technicians arrive late. Then they tell me that they can’t do the job. A complete waste of time, can not recommend.

This service is impeccable. We needed to swap out three ceiling fans and we just weren't comfortable working with the electric. Edgar and his trainee Jalen were prompt, friendly, and efficient. The cost also came in under the other companies we priced. We will absolutely contact them when we need another task like this done. They saved us so much time and stress!

We were able to coordinate everything online or through text, which was very convenient. Nikki did a great job and would not quit until the work was completed satisfactorily. What was supposed to take two hours ended up taking nine due to unforeseen circumstances, but she cancelled her other appointments to stay late and ensure that everything was done to perfection. We couldn't have been more pleased and would definitely work with Fixer and/or Nikki again.

Chang and Fixer were incredibly helpful, effective, and reasonably priced. I could not have asked for a better plumbing service. Chang arrived on time, fixed the clogged sink faster than expected, and was able to clean up quickly. I’ll be using Fixer for home repairs going forward.

Wow, I'm an instant convert. I've worked with lots of tradespeople through the course of renovating three houses, and this was one of the best. On-time, highly professional and competent. Got 100% of my punchlist done in short order.

The Company was quick to reply when I first contacted them, The scheduling was easy. I was not going to contact them at first because the company name is Fixer Chicago. I think it must be a franchise or something because I'm in Seattle. To minimize confusion they should rename the company to just Fixer

Had such a great experience with Fixer! I'm pregnant and can't really get on ladders like I used to - and I'm used to doing a lot of the work around here by myself. But now I know it's totally okay (and great!) to hire out for work you can't quite do yourself - which, for me, was installing bay window curtain rods, and shortening the cord for a pendant fixture and installing it. I thought it was a super reasonable price (especially for keeping me safe and off a ladder!) and it was done so fast! I know as a new homeowner we'll have a ton of projects like this and I know we'll be hiring Fixer again soon. Great experience from start to finish.

I messaged the business on Yelp for a quote to replace kitchen faucet, and conversation was normal until I asked his next week’s schedule. Suddenly the owner just replied: “due to a previous fixer visit, we can’t provide you services at time or in the future”. I was very confused and felt insulted, as I never used them before. I am glad I didn’t let someone in who isn’t operating normal and I certainly don’t need a handyman service like this anytime now or in the future.

I've used Fixer three times in the past year and each time has been an excellent experience - they installed lights, wired smoke alarms and mounted a very large flat screen TV to a wall. Every time they were on time, neat, cleaned up afterwards, so pleasant and they get the job done quickly with no issues afterwards. A+++ for Fixer.

My boyfriend and I got in over our heads trying to install a new front door for his condo. The dispatch service was immediately responsive and helpful in estimating the amount of work that would need to be done. Becky arrived just a few hours after I made the initial inquiry. Although the job required specialized hardware that was not in stock at any nearby hardware stores, Becky was ingenuous in planning a work around. She was able to make the best of a bad situation working efficiently. We are so satisfied with the end result and being able to turn this project over to a professional was worth every penny spent!

I learned so MUCH in a short amount of time and their bottom line is to make sure a customer receives excellent service in a timely fashion and to do the job right the first time. Don’t waste your time with this company if you want something professionally done or complex. They definitely wasted our time and now they referred us to an actual electrician to actually do the job. Unbelievable

In this crazy age where you feel you can't trust anyone, Chang is a shining example of an honest person doing honest work and proud of his company. He is willing to advise you on alternative approaches and even your best option, which may or may not be Fixer work.I am pleased with the whole experience and plan to use Fixer again in the near future. The company is run well and the price and advice you get for solving these handyman type problems is 1st rate.

I gave them a second chance after using them one time with some issues. I regret calling them again. The electrician came unprepared to complete the job; he didn't bring a high ladder. He said he was going to get a high ladder. Then I get a text that the job is done and they are going to charge my card. I told them the job was not done. They apologized for the confusion and told me that they will send someone out later in the week to complete the work. Guy left in the middle of the job.

I scheduled an appointment to have our deck resurfaced, they did not show up and did not even contact me. After contacting them their response was that my appointment slipped through the cracks. I decided to give it another chance and rescheduled for 2 days later, and once again did not show up! I was texted after the scheduled time saying they would be late, and then again saying they were just not coming. I don't know how this company survives with this horrible customer service.
