Called when they opened because I woke up to an inch of water in my basement. I could tell when they answered that it had already been a long day at 7am. Despite that, they were able to get me scheduled quickly and the Plumber who arrived _early_ was amazing. Big shout out to Josh for taking the time to help me understand what happened, why, how to mitigate it, and how to remedy the situation. Overall, just a good guy to be around and I couldn't be more thankful.Oh, and competitive pricing too. I expected a much higher price. The other high-praise reviews are spot-on. I'll definitely reach out to them again in the future.

I'll start by stating that Green Tech Plumbing is the ONLY company that returned our call for the repair we required (and we're so grateful they did). Green Tech Plumbing is wonderful! I initially spoke to Bill, who helped tame the anxiety I had about the large, underground job we needed. Bill put me in touch with Kevin who was so patient & answered all of my questions. Ryan is the plumber who, along with his helpers, talked us through the process and did an amazing job rerouting our leaking underground supply line. Every winter the big old maple tree in front sends its sap down into the roots and some of those roots grow into our sewer line, which means a clean-out every January or February. Our regular plumber had retired, so I looked on NextDoor for one with high recommendations. Green Tech was by far the most highly rated.The truck arrived on time, and a courtesy text notification was sent just prior to the arrival. The man even took the wad of roots with him when he left.We have found an honest and reasonable replacement for our retired plumber. Thank you, Green Tech.

Our sewer collapsed because it was poorly installed by the previous owner (and the cheap company they used). Water backed up in the basement right away.Green Tech sent a great technician to check it out the next day. He figured out the problem. 2 days later brought a 5 man crew to fix it They were in exactly at 8am, the appointed time, put in a whole new cleanout and passed inspection with flying colors by 3pm.They were smart, polite, and professional.I highly recommend Green Tech!

I have had Green Tech out at my house a few times. Always on time and extremely professional. They have educated me on the problem, options, and fix it. Very clean and no mess. In my opinion they are the best around!

Our water filter under our sink started leaking unexpectedly in the middle of the day. This caused water damage under my sink and inability for us to use our kitchen sink in order to not cause further damage to our cabinetry. I was working with another company who was horrible and Green Tech came to the rescue! They were prompt in response via phone and email! My plumbing repairs in the end were not major, however for someone like me with no insight into plumbing, their advice, professionalism, and quality work in a timely manner was wonderful. Since they seemed reliable and reasonably priced I decided to change my faucet fixtures at the same time and they got that done quickly as well. I highly recommend them and know if I have a small or big project in the future - they will be who I call.

Called Green Tech in a panic with a badly clogged toilet and coincidentally a leaking pipe in our sump pump pit. It was after hours and Kevin calmed me down and gave me a few options to save us the added cost of having an emergency appointment. He promised to have a plumber out first thing the next morning and sure enough, Ryan showed up at about 7:30am!He had our repairs finished within an hour and we couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism of both Kevin and Ryan. We have found our plumbing company for any future projects! Highly-qualified and highly recommended!

I used Green Tech for a very large project at my new home. From the first consultation through the end of the project, every person I worked with from Green Tech was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took the extra time to first educate me on how sewer systems work, explained in detail what issues they found and how they planned on fixing them, and answered all my questions along the way.With a project of this size, I did get multiple quotes and second opinions just to be safe. Not only did other companies confirm Green Tech’s diagnosis, but most could either not handle the full scope of the project or came in at a much higher cost.When it came to the actual work they performed, everything was top notch and honestly exceeded my expectations. They scoped my sewer, diagnosed the problems, pulled the necessary permits, dealt with the city and it’s inspectors, excavated my lawn, repaired and replaced piping, rodded out certain parts, fixed my connection to the city’s main, worked on and repaired the foundation, installed pumps and battery back ups, and restored everything afterwards.When they were finished, they had solved my problem, given me peace of mind that I would not have more issues in the future, and restored everything to what it looked like before. They did all this while coming in under budget.I would highly recommend Green Tech to friends and family, and will be using them again in the future.

I called Green Tech plumbing for a leaking toilet. they came out and reset the toilet. Very good repair at that time I asked if they install new shut-offs for ice maker and Humidifier. They came back later in week and installed new shut-offs. I had them back again to do some pipe repairs. All the work performed was done extremely well. I called Green Tech because of a leak in the pipes of my kitchen sink. Bill, the person I spoke with to set up my appointment, was awesome when it came to getting someone over to my place ASAP. The actual plumber, Josh, was punctual, professional, and did a great job answering any questions we had during the consultation, helping to make us feel more comfortable about the job before we began the work. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The Green Tech Plumbing team has been, hands down, the single best contractor we have worked with since moving to Glenview. They have been incredibly responsive with expert solutions to multiple problems we've had. We spoke to several other plumbing companies before finding Kevin and his team...none of them could do what Green Tech got done, let alone at a very fair price. The team has always been friendly, effective, and fair with us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can definitively say Mark and the team at Green Tech are the most professional and reasonable plumbers I have worked with. Mark was able to quickly assess an issue we had with our plumbing and guide us towards reasonable and long lasting fixes. I have worked with other five star companies who charged an extraordinarily high rate and pressured us into work, when looking back, we did not need. My only regret is not calling Green Tech sooner!

We had a couple of issues with the service. The biggest issue was the cost. After service they were rude saying he specifically stated it was $100 minimum for any service, however during the original call it was vague and not specific.The service was less than 15 minutes (included removing a small part from a garbage disposal with a pliers and filling up the sink to watch the pipes to ensure there was not a leak). The charge was $100 dollars due to what Green Tech said is their minimum charge, so be prepared if you need anything that is their minimum charge.Other issue is not major, but to note that the technician or Plummer needed our assistance with the issue. Had to hold the flashlight for him and also needed to provide the tools. Maybe the staff did it to make it quicker, but was a bit odd.

I cannot recommend Green Tech Plumbing any more than I already do to all my family and friends! They tackled a difficult situation upgrading our water service and did so with professionalism, fairness and amazing quality. Everyone on the team was wonderful and made a stressful situation manageable. I have also used Green Tech for regular plumbing repairs and installation of a hot water heater and I have nothing but completely positive things to say about them. Highly, highly recommend!

I have used Green Tech Plumbing a number of times times and have dealt with 3 different plumbers. They have all been great, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I’ve always been happy with their work. When I call, if they don’t answer the phone immediately, they have always gotten back to me very quickly. A couple of times I had emergency situations and they manage to rearrange their schedules to get there on the same day. I highly recommend them.

I have used Green Tech for three plumbing emergencies in my house. A broken pipe leaking into my family room, tree roots causing backup on my main floor and a broken sump pump. Each time they have been prompt, friendly and trustworthy.The most recent experience however sets them apart. Sunday night we got several inches of rain and my sump pump failed. It was almost 11PM and I called Green Tech. Kevin immediately called me back and had me send him pictures of the pump. He then stayed on the phone with me while he talked me through a temporary fix saving my basement. This was so far above and beyond anything I expected.He told me because of the storms the company was overbooked with appointments and it might be a few days to get someone out to replace the pump. Yet at 7:45 the next morning, Ryan showed up at my door, new pump ready to go. These guys are honest, hard working and really dedicated to their customers and it shows. They have earned my loyalty time and time again and I wouldn't consider calling anyone else in an emergency.

We have been using Greentech for all of our plumbing needs for 10 years. They never fail to exceed expectations. They are prompt, thorough and have an incredible level of expertise. They do not try to upsell you on anything, but rather explain the issues that you are dealing with in a straightforward manner. We have used Green Tech for three years now. Each team member is very knowledgeable and communicates with us before doing any work. They rod our line every year and do our annual back flow test. Kevin and his team are always there for us. We flooded this weekend and the pump failed. They arrived within hours and fixed it WHILE it was raining! We had Augie from Green Tech come out to rod out our main sewer line. He was very professional, took his time explaining the process to us and his findings. He also took the time to look at a separate plumbing issue we were having an made some recommendations for that. I would definitely recommend and use Green Tech Plumbing again.

After getting two very sketchy estimates from two other plumbers, we called GreenTech on the recommendation from a friend, and we couldn't have been happier! The two previous companies told us that our sewer pipe was broken or crushed and needed a $6000 repair (which would require an 8' deep trench and removal of a Japanese maple tree). However, when GreenTech came out, they took their time to do a very deep and thorough cleaning (rodding) of our old sewer line - removing LOTS of roots to clear it. They didn't find a break in the line but recommended rodding every 12-18 months as regular maintenance. We will only be using GreenTech for all of our future plumbing needs based on their expertise, honesty, hard work, and fair pricing. We thank them for their efforts (Kevin, Tim, Kyle, Josh, and Bill) and for saving us from a $6000 unnecessary repair!

I have hired Greentech plumbing to work on two homes as well as a commercial building that I own. They are dependable, very professional, and what I consider an overall great value.Over the years I’ve had Dave, Tim, and Kevin work on various things. All three did great work. I recommend them highly and am confident that they will get the job done right.

Kevin and his crew are literally the most professional men I have ever dealt with. I had an overhead sewer installed and didn’t have a single hiccup. As a Chicago licensed, bonded, and insured plumber a customer does not have to worry about any work being compliant with the code or any inspection work before or after work has been completed. Kevin gave us ample time to prepare for inspection and worked around our schedule to ensure we were 100% compliant. I wouldn’t send anyone anywhere else. His prices were right on par or less than 4 other competitors in the area. It was his promptness at calling me back, preparedness, and schedule that made it an easy fit for me. We’ve had Green Tech Plumbing come to the rescue a few times at our rental properties and at our primary residence. They have helped us with clogged sinks, tubs and installed a couple of water heaters. It is so easy to schedule an appointment with them, sometimes with little notice. They are always punctual, professional and are always able to diagnose the issue and give us options in order to resolve . We couldn’t ask for a better Plumbing company to turn to. Plumber came promptly, made the repair, re-installed the toilet, very professional and high quality work. Kevin and his team got us through a bumpy start after we bought our first house and discovered lots of plumbing issues the inspector failed to find. He has a great sense of humor and is able to talk you off the ledge when you think you really need him to come on a Sunday. Tim does most of the residential work and he always worked fast and without a mess. They are fair in pricing and you never feel like they are trying to take advantage; instead, they educate you during the process and provide you with great discounted resources for plumbing fixtures.

Locally owned and operated, expert work, high integrity. Super quick and responsive. I used Green Tech for a second opinion with a malfunctioning flood control system when the original installer was unable to identify the cause of the issue. Green Tech immediately found the problem and Kevin and team were very efficient and customer friendly. Wish I would have used Green Tech the first time around. My sewer was was absolutely clogged with roots and I was looking for local plumbers in the Park Ridge are and so I found GreenTech right away. So I call and the people in the office helped me set a time and date right away and long behold they sent one of their plumbers named Mike who came by and was smart, clean, and efficient. Called GreenTech at 2:00pm-ish on a Thursday and was set up with an 8:00am appointment for Friday morning to scope out our sewer line. The individual on the phone was pleasant and knowledgeable and was able to settle some of my anxieties. The technician, Mark, on Friday morning showed up on time following all CDC guidelines. Mark too, was very knowledgeable. After assessing and evaluating the interior of the home and running a few small tests to verify the sewer layout he got right to work scoping the sewer. He did an initial evaluation of the sewer and then did it again and recorded a video of the second run. On the second run Mark narrated the camera view. I was also provided a thumb drive of the narration and video of the sewer scope. Was very impressed with the thoroughness of the service and the fact I got a record of what we can’t see underground.

High quality work with fair pricing. Technicians are friendly and professional. Also, I found a small leak after they had completed work and they were quick to come back out to fix the issue free of charge. Would recommend!

I have used Green Tech once in my home, at least twice at my business, and plan to use them many more times to come. Believe it or not they actually LISTEN to what you ask of them, and solve the problem quickly--typically within 24 hours of my call. Wish all service companies could be more like them!

Green Tech has been out to my home in Des Plaines several times for routine maintenance. (Kitchen Faucet replaced, Ejector pump replaced, sewer rodded, bathtub drain rodded.) The guys are knowledgeable, and solved my issues with no BS. They also installed a flood control system at my moms house in Park Ridge. (Dry basement ever since) Cheers, and thanks! Easily the friendliest and most fair plumber I've found. I called them on Thanksgiving and they answered the phone right away.Came out next day to my home in Des Plaines to fix the gas leak without charging a rush fee and quoted far less than some shady plumbers I called.The service tech was very clear on what he would do, and the work was clean and well done.

I’m on the board of a condo complex in Park Ridge, received two ridiculous quotes and two fair quotes to fix the booster pump for my building. Out of the four quotes, Greentech made the only sense in making the repair as opposed to replacing the whole unit. It’s been nine months now, still going strong! Kevin and his men are professional, polite and Freaky Fast!Just moved to Park Ridge from California with my wife and kids. We decided to stay in the basement while we did upstairs renovations. I called Kevin(the boss) on a the Sunday it decided to rain in my basement with water coming out of the main floor toilet. Yup, serious inconvenience.Kevin answered and was on site fast. Found the main line had sheared apart. Kevin and his men had permits and equipment the next morning. Repairs were complete the next day, Freaky Fast! I had a water softner installed by this company a few months ago and they did an amazing job. They showed up on time, and had all the parts on the truck. The plumber was great in explaining everything and left the room spotless when he was finished with the job.

After getting water in my basement last spring I asked three different plumbing companies to come out and give me their thoughts on a solution. The first two just tried the easy fix of routing out the drain pipe to the sumpump and left within an hour. When the next heavy rain came we got water again. I called Green Tech Plumbing and Kevin came out. He said, if this was my house. this is what I would do. I took his suggestion of putting in a new pipe underground and adding a new sumpump in my basement. Problem solved!!! Haven't had a drop of water in my basement since. This has been the best home improvement money I have spent yet! Since then Green Tech has been my first call for a backed up toilet and a clogged sink. Green Tech installed a new sump pump 5 months ago. The pressure switch failed and I called Green Tech for a repair. The technician arrived within one hour and the repair was done at no cost.
