Best Water Heaters in Chesapeake VA

Horrible experience. The technician that came out was rude and wasn't helpful at all. Was suppose to fix a part that was under warranty and instead looked at the hot water heater and charged a 149.00 fee without doing anythjng. I was honestly a bit hesitant to even let him in, very unprofessional in what he was wearing and the way he conducted himself. I should have went with my gut. I ended up not buying a part and he became very rude. I will never ever recommend this company. With so many better options out there please look around. The technician name was Rich

We had a pinhole leak in one of our pipes located in our crawlspace. I called another company this past Wednesday, diagnosed the issue when they came in on a Thursday, but could not fix it until Monday because they were booked. I called Ali-cor and the lady over the phone gave me an early schedule for today (Friday). Brandon and Michael arrived early, were very professional, and were very efficient addressing the issue, plus they charged for a very reasonable price. I very highly recommend this company.

The technician, Pat did a very good job getting everything ready for a new hot water heater and instructions his journey man. It was obvious he knew how to install the water tank but still backed up his experience with a slide check list. Very good job for the value.

The thermostat decided to go on vacation on a weekend. RS Andrews has service techs on-call because life doesn't stop on the weekend. I truly appreciate there being a service tech to get the system back up and running. Thank you Gabriel for setting things to right.

We've been using 911 for a couple years now dating back to a busted wall pipe in the kitchen and subsequent kitchen remodel. We then had them remove a wall and build a custom double sided direct-vent stone fireplace. . They will be remodeling our 2 bathrooms and adding a laundry room to complete the total renovation of our 55 year old home from rafters to footers and everything in between! Their dedication to completing the job as planned, in the quickest most affordable way; while never compromising quality, is unmatched in the industry! Finally a contractor you can trust!!

We had a small snafu with the City of Norfolk for my business. Some regulatory paperwork for a backflow valve got misfiled under the wrong address. Needless to say, it became a bit of an event when the Office of Cross Connections came in and wanted to shut off the water. Fortunately, AT Large was very responsive and handled the situation professionally, courteously, and promptly.

Mistakes happen, paperwork can get misplaced, etc. The important thing is making it right and being dependable when time is of the essence.

Fast, knowledgeable and friendly service. I have had Dean come out to our home on 2 different occasions. He is very good at what he does and helps with the best way to fix the issues. My daughter uses him now too and she was very pleased. Highly recommend. Ask for Dean, he's great.

Amazing! Had three other plumbers come for a leak, and everyone told me there was no problem! Within 5 min of them being here they found the issue and fixed the problem! Will recommend!!!

***UPDATE to the 1-star review I left last week.*** Smith & Keene called and said they would make it right and they DID! Today, they had their Lead plumber come by and correct all of the issues that were previously done incorrectly. Everything is working as it should and Herb was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and didn't make a mess. I am appreciative of Smith & Keene's commitment to make it right. Thank you.

DO NOT USE SMITH & KEENE FOR YOUR PLUMBING NEEDS! Although I had a 5-star experience with the HVAC department, their Plumbing department is an absolute joke! They only have 2 Plumbers on staff yet spend money to advertise they do plumbing & electrical. Filthy and incompetent plumber seemed clueless. He had to immediately come back because lines were not installed correctly and water was leaking all over the cabinet under the sink and caused water damage to the cabinet. Also, cracked the quartz countertop when removing the old handle. They cannot even install a faucet properly …it’s loose, wobbles and is causing more water to leak under sink. His solution was to caulk it which did absolutely nothing and looks half-a$$. Claimed the bolt seized up and couldn’t tighten anymore. But my hardware friends said there are 100 ways to unseize a bolt. Waiting on a call for them to get back out here and install it RIGHT! Don’t get me started on the filth and mess that was left in each room where work was being done. I spent an hour cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, washing towels and scrubbing grease stains off the walls after this clown left. I’ve never in my life had a repairman leave a worksite as filthy as this! Do not waste your time or money using Smith & Keene for plumbing!!!
