The service technicians who diagnosed and fixed our plumbing problem were professional and helpful in explaining options which best resolved the late night crisis we found ourselves in. Not only was our kitchen sink completely unusable, but we were expecting all our family to arrive within 24 hours for a family reunion. Reinaldo arrived with an upgrade to our current faucet, had it installed within 40 minutes and we were able to continue our family gathering without missing a beat. This wasn't the first time Reinaldo had rescued us, and we were very reassured when he showed up to do the actual repairs. Thanks from all our family.

Our bathtub drain was completely clogged. This is our one and only bathtub. I had tried to use a snake to unclog it, but could not get the snake down through the drain pipe far enough to help. Early the next morning, we began calling to get a plumber. I don't know if it was because it was Friday or if plumbers are always busy, but after calling several places, they were all booked up until at least Tuesday. That's not a good thing when you only have one bathtub! At that point, I called Roto-Rooter and the technician came out within two hours. His name is George Diaz, and he did a great job. It took him a little while because the clog was so far in. He probably wasn't here more than an hour though. We are so thankful for him and for Roto-Rooter being able to quickly and efficiently unclog the drain and get our bathtub back to good working order. Thank you, George! A job well done!

The service tech was very professional and very nice. Did a good job on unplugging the bathroom sink drain which took less than 30 minutes. However your pricing is very high for the work done. I did not understand until I paid him that $350 is a flat fee for just snaking the drain. I thought that was if he had to do more than snake it. Very high priced.

We called Roto Rooter dispatch @ 8:00am. The dispatcher was an upbeat gentlemen who would say ROTO ROOTER TO THE RESCUE. Something we are not use to hearing and after a long night was actually funny and by doing so made our day a little betterA few hours later Janice arrived for the beginning stages of water mitigation. She used her equipment to find standing water inside our wall and explained the reality of the situation. She provided us with valuable information and a piece of mind after this process was over a team (Tevin & Antonio) the team showed up and they also walked me through the process. They set up dehumidifying machines and fans and after the demo was done for that day my house was cleaned as much as one could expect also the main water mitigation tech found $125.00 in my cabinet. Money i totally forgot about and could have easily been just taken and i would have never missed it was handed back to me...INTEGRITY INTEGRITY INTEGRITYGary our local professional tech is great. Our time frame was 2:00pm-6:00pm however Gary was held up at his last customers residence. We where notified that he might be running late for our appointment. However he arrived ontime. That 2 min of time to inform us is much appreciated. Gary introduced himself in a professional manner, explained his procedure and assured my wife that he would get the job done. Gary did his initial inspection. After his inspection he gave us his opinion and best resolution. In the process he also identified other potential issues so we are aware of them as well. Our home was built in the 60's and some materias that where used during that time are no longer the standard. Gary was able to also identify those. The overall service we recieved from the dispatch to the tech was some of the best. Thankful for Roto Rooter for coming out and fixing a plumbing issue on a Sunday night. A little pricey, but always reliable and quick to get the job done.

We've used Roto-Rooter in the past, so when we had plumbing issues again, we knew we could trust their company. Dave (#5131) came out and examined our bathroom shower which was flowing regardless of being activated or not. He was incredibly friendly and thorough with his repair. He spent the time to evaluate the cause & fix the problem. He didn't jerry-rig or do a band-aid repair. He completely fixed the plumbing the way it should have been built in the first place. One of the concerns I have with plumbing is technicians doing quick fixes only for the problem to come back again. Every time I've used Roto-Rooter, they actually fix the source. I'm impressed & will continue to patron a trusted company!

Extremely pleased with how fast Roto-Rooter was able to get someone out. Quickly found/repaired exterior gas leak--customer side of natural gas line. Replaced faulty sections of pipe/fittings, and cleaned and repainted other heavily rusted sections. We had just moved in to our new home, (still unpacking boxes) and found the upstairs bathroom sink was leaking and backing up not draining. Ontop of that the tub wasn't draining and toilet wasn't able to flush. Austin was able to come out same day within the hour. He very professionally explained his steps to problem solve to determine if each drain were clogged or if branch line was the problem. (Ended up being the whole branch line, years worth of gross just packed soild in the drain blocking the flow 😳🤢😝). Austin cleared the line repaired a crack piece and had the bathroom up and running (& more importantly draining 😉😊) all under 2hrs. Prices for the work was very reasonable. Also gave information on how to best maintain that we won't run into the same problem again during our time living in the house, giving us HUGE piece of mind.

Alonzo #1678 did a great job fixing the leak we had in our water intake valve for our toilet. We then found that the issue with our toilets slow drip wasn’t the leak, but the fill mechanism in the basin. He helped me handle that matter as well and now I have a functioning toilet again.Quick note. I was originally skeptical about all of the reviews with the names at the top. Their customer service rating system is done through Google. So the only way my man Alonzo gets credit for doing a good job is by mentioning his name. That’s why all of these reviews sound like “[Name] did a great job.”That being said, it was a tad pricey. Alonzo fixed my problem that I couldn’t solve, at $508. Overall, the service was good, and there is a six month guarantee.

Called Roto-Rooter to clean out a downspout drain line that goes under our concrete patio and our pool. The drain had stopped working and, unfortunately, we did not know exactly where the line ended! Mike arrived within a couple of hours and first tried with his smaller snake - no luck. He then brought out the BIG snake and finally found the end of the drain line and cleared it so water was flowing again. Seems our professional landscaper and simply ended the drain under one of the pool lines, about 6 inches below grade. I am surprised it worked as long as it did. Thanks to Mike for not giving up.

Roto Rooter was great. Customer service was superb. Alex (2222) asked what the problem was and informed us on all the possible diagnosis for our issue. While troubleshooting he explained each solution, walking us through the process of every one of them (and the price to match) and luckily it was a simple fix to our issue. I will definitely call Alex at Roto Rooter for any other plumbing issues I may have.

I paid $350 for Horrible inexperience service. This was my 1st and Last time. I always use Michaels & Sons but they were unable to come out. I used Roto Rooter on Tuesday April 10, 2018, to help me clear a back up in my rental property and find the line to my clean out. I had, had a plumber out that morning that used an 80ft snake ( I rented) and retrieved several Feminine Products but he was unable to clear the line. I informed tenant that she would be responsible for the Roto Rooter bill, and we worked out a payment plan. When the RR plumber arrived I introduced myself as the Homeowner and clearly explained to him a plumber had been there earlier and had pulled out numerous tampons, therefore I needed the line/ backup cleared and find my clean out. I then explained I would be paying him for the services not the tenant. The roto rooter plumber was there less than an hour, and all he did was find the city clean out line, and when the Tenant asked him did he find any tampons he said no. The tenant became beligerant stating the Roto Rooter man didn't find any tampons and she is not paying for the service. Although the evidence was clearly in the back yard , Not once did the Roto Rooter man come to my defense and explain to her that he didn't see any tampons because he was the 2nd plumber even though she was knew he was. To make matters worse, he did not open the line or clear the blockage, he never even attempt to find my clean out. What he did do was find the City line and tell me to call the city for $350. in total I was left with a $700.00 bill with the snake rental and other labor. NEVER EVER Use this Company...Use Michael and Sons.

This is my second time having to use Roto-Rooter and I don't have any complaints. They came out very fast and accessed the problem and the fixed it. My service guy was very nice as well. I am still a happy customer.

Everything was great as far as the service. Very timely and professional. Jason was awesome from the moment he came in the house and saw the problem. I cut the hole in the ceiling under the tub exposing the drain and overflow pipes making it easy and we verified the leak was the drain. Now comes the part of the deal where I should have gone deeper. The price. He explained its flat rate and he doesn’t set the price. Quoted $650 after a $100 coupon taxes included. If anything I should have stopped there and said I’m good and found somebody I thought was a fair price but in the moment said yes and signed for the work. He left for about 30 min to get a drain / overflow set up and came back and got to work. About an hour later no more leak and I was happy. Overall things got fixed but it just left a bad taste in my mouth feeling like we got knocked in the head for the price. I know I got a quality repair done right but I just feel like I was charged a lot for a pretty basic job.

I was able to schedule same day service for a clogged drain. Manny was able to quickly diagnose that I had a main sewer line clog and effectively unclogged it while he was here. He also took the time to explain to me what he would do to unclog my pipes and made recommendations on things I could do to help prevent future clogs.

This place would of got one star had they not had such a great plumber. He's the only one that saved them a bit. Had a drain slow to drain. Called Monday night they said they could have a technician over in 2 hours. The called back and said their tech was taking longer than expected and I could either wait or reschedule. Since it was almost 830 pm I rescheduled for a time slot of 5pm-7pm Tuesday. Got off work early Tuesday and asked if they can bump me to the 3pm-5pm slot and if not it was okay. They said yes. Turn around 530pm and Dispatch calls and said it was taking longer than expected but they should have a tech available soon. That never happened. I called back at 9 pm and they said they couldn't get to me and I would have to reschedule or keep waiting. Being a work night I had to reschedule. Wednesday they scheduled me for 5pm-7pm and the tech got to my house at 5 until 7. So my point is how are you gonna tell a customer you'll be there for an appointment but the customer has to keep calling to get updates on something when you should be making it to your appointments. The plumber himself was really kind and got the job done fast. Unfortunately, because of their lack of ability to make it to the customers in a timely manner, I won't be using Rotto-Rooter again. Oh and also I don't think it should be $450 to unclog a bathtub drain in 15 minutes when no parts were replaced. That just seems high.Edit-i got a full blown apology from the manager and the plumber himself. They informed me they don't usually have this issue and take customer relations seriously. I'll take my edit from 2 stars to 4. Can't blame Dispatch for the entire company

I waited all day for them. Due to it being a holiday I guess they were backed up. Upon their arrival they apologized for the delay and provided excellent service. They came out about 1:30am and didn’t finish till about 3:00am; although it was late the service was still excellent and professional. Will definitely utilize them again.

Michael was very careful to keep everything under control, including making sure he kept everything clean!He is obviously very experienced and solved my complex problem in a short time (again, considering the problem).He was not bothered (or at least was very patient) by me being constantly on his back and asking questions.

Superb service from a very friendly technician. After buying a washing machine, I found that the drain pipe overflowed when the washer tried to drain. The technician, Shawn Prunty, told me it was because my house has porous old cast iron pipes that can clog over time. He snaked the pipe, but when it still wouldn't drain, he snaked it again and sent a camera up the pipe to make sure it was clear for no extra charge. Before he left, he told me how to prevent future clogs, and even advised me on what toilet paper to use 😂 He was a genuine guy who provided genuine service. I can't ask for more than that. When he arrived he worked with the city personnel in an attempt to determine if the problem was ours or the city’s. When the city was unable to locate their cleanout, Mike began working from our end. Do not use this company. Terrible service. They boast 24/7 service, had no one available the same day, had to wait for a 12 to 4 time window the next day couldn't use the toilet or shower in any bathrooms, received several calls the day of service pushing the time window back. Eventually a guy came out at 5 30, charged us $500 to pull and auger a toilet line that was already pulled off, it took 2 hours just to clear and pretty sure he damaged a pipe. Now it's the day after service and our lines are clogged up again, called to get service and they said they can't do anything without running a camera through or we'd have to pay again so now we have to wait until tomorrow to get everything looked at with a camera. Still can't use our facilities

Couldn't be happier with the service I received. Want to single out the technician who serviced our house, Gary Banks. Gary not only fixed the issue quickly, something a competitor said could not be done the day before when we called a different company, but he also explained very thoroughly what caused the issue and went over ways to hopefully keep it from repeating in the future. We will definitely be calling Gary again if other plumbing issues arise.Furthermore, because part of the issue was a toilet that began leaking from the base, Roto Rooter sent out Krista this afternoon to make sure none of that black water caused any permanent damage to the floor of baseboards. Super professional and helpful

The plumber that came to our home gave us the worst case and best case scenario. In my case, it was the worst. I wasn’t happy with the upfront cost, but at the end it was worth it. The education I received from the plumber led me to rethink using “youtube” and many “DIY” networks. I was given a visual step by step of everything that was done to fix my problem. Somethings are just best left to the professionals. I’m pleased with the decision I made and I would do it again if I had to. With what I learned that day, I don’t think I will have to any time soon.

He quoted me a price that was 75 dollars cheaper than the other ROTO Router technician. Terry was organized and ensured each part was included in the faucet package before he removed the old faucet. This gave me confidence that he is professional and understood the task at hand. He completed the task in a very efficient and timely manner.

Price increase from $362.00 last year to $599.00 and an additional $300 for fixing a trap in a sink. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had a reaccuring problem that other plumbers did not take the time to actually search for but james took the time and tried to figure out everyway possible to fix it before the more expensive option was called for. Just recently purchased my home that had foundation work before moving in. The drain pipe stack had busted unbeknownst to me. Finding the issue a month later, seeing the floor sagging I called them up. They were very helpful and easy to work with. Roto-rooter came out the next day after calling it in. Mike was very professional and gave me a straight forward estimate. They got to work the following day and finished fixing and replacing my cast iron with new pvc in less than 5hrs. Roto-rooter showed up at 8:00, and fixed my clogged kitchen sink in around a half hour. My tech was very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and explained a lot of things to me. This was after 2 companies couldn’t help me because there wasn’t a clean-out in my plumbing. They said it would need to be done from the roof.

I was excited about being able to use this company and was impressed with over the phone customer service. They were prompt with getting me scheduled. I had a bit of an emergency, I was told someone would be out between 8-10. 10 am I received a call saying I was next in line but they were a bit backed up. Understandable. It’s 2:30 and no call no show still.. needless to say I was disappointed and just canceled the service all together. I expressed on the cancelation call what happened all I was told was that I could cancel it or reschedule for a different time. It was a waste of time. I hope that someone in management addresses this issue for future customers.

Mike 0703 was professional and timely. We requested service on a Sunday and Mike was here within 90 minutes of request. He called ahead to let us know he was on the way and he worked very efficiently. He gave a detailed report of the work and services and we are now satisfied customers.

Very bad experience. We scheduled an appointment for between 11a and 1p today and as of 8:45p they have still haven't shown up.The sad part is we got at least 2 calls throughout the day saying they'd be here in about an hour, only to have no one show up. Don't call these people unless you have all day to wait for someone who may never show up.When we finally called at 8:45pm to cancel because we had found Michael and Sons, who came right out, they were indifferent without even an apology.

My experience with rotor rooter went over very well. All my expectations were not met. I had a pipe burst between the wall in my living room. I was under the impression I was going to spend an arm,a leg and heck, a few toes too. But the cost was well under than what I expected. Plus the tech was Courteous and knowledgeable. He provided the simplest yet safest and efficient repair possible. And it was at a feasible price, especially after he was dispatched 1030 at night. It did not take him long to arrive nor finish the job. He had all materials and tools available, which is very important. I am a appliance technician so I was able to evaluate him from a technician point of view. The call center was prompt and pleasant. And now I have rotor rooter in my speed dial address book. Hopefully I won't be using them anytime soon though..

I called Roto Rooter for a clogged drain. I received 2 phones shortly after keeping me updated on the Technicians schedule. When Corey showed up, he accessed the best way to snake the clogged line. Then got to work. Corey was very Professional and Thorough with his work. After he got through the Clog, he ran water and drained the washing machine thru 2 cycles to make sure the clog was gone. I was extremely pleased with the service we received. Both sides of the sink were stopped up and pipes behind the washer overflowed sending water all down the hall towards the front door and around the corner into the den. First, we were called to get our agreement for them to come earlier than our appointed time. When Shawn and George arrived, they were courteous, professional, wearing clean uniforms, and equipped with knowledge and experience to resolve our issues. They took the time to explain what caused the problem and what to do to prevent this from occurring again. Don and I were appreciative and greatly relieved.

I was impressed with the quality of service received during my emergency service call. My service included an emergency clean out with a camera scope investigation. The clean out began at 11:30 PM and concluded at 3:30 AM. The scope investigation took place about a week later.The technician completed the work thoroughly and professionally. He had complications getting the snake moving in the direction it needed to go, but worked diligently and patiently until the work was done. The only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the service was pretty pricey compared to other service providers in the area, but it was an emergency situation and the toilet need to be pulled for both the clean out and the camera investigation, so that should count towards something.I would recomment Roto-Rooter Plumbing for emergency situations.

My after hours clog was expertly fixed in an extremely efficient manner. Technician was upfront about the costs and different options as well as the pros and cons to each. Sunday service for a moderate repair when most would want to come during the week. Our technician was courteous, clean, and explained everything. We had a nasty plumbing situation late on a Saturday night. Shawn came out 30 minutes before our scheduled window Sunday morning and within 45 minutes our pipes were unblocked and the house started smelling better immediately! Thank goodness for Roto-Rooters 24 hour service. Thank goodness for their timely service and knowledgeable employees.

During an awful time, they came out and fixed our plumbing. The tech was great! Making sure everything was in running order despite the fact that it was 2AM. I will use them again.

Purpose: I had no issue; selling home and needed a company to come and and ensure there were no obstructions in the line. I had no plumbing issue at all. On time, ran machine through clean out towards house and tore boot on the end spilled sewage under my home. Did not respond when told about issue.. I had to buy pvc clean out to fix. I paid another company to remove vapor barrier and replace since sewage made a mess. i spoke with 6 different folks through the whole process. Most were cordial and responsive but couldn't help because it was not part of there responsibility to do anything. Recommend Quality Control person to respond to incidents of this nature.

Had a leak in my shower going into the crawl space so I called for an estimate. Dispatch quickly and efficiently took my information and gave me an estimated time window thirty minutes from then. Shortly after getting off the phone I got a follow-up call saying they'd be there in forty-five minutes. Grant and Robin showed up at the promised time and were very courteous and professional. The initial interaction was wonderful. The staff was responsive, friendly and professional. Tanyika was absolutely wonderful in explaining what she was there to do and the process of cleaning up water damage. However, I was told it would be somewhere between 11 and 5 to get the water heater repaired. No updates or contact so by 4:30 I was calling for a status only to be told 30 more minutes. I called several times between 5 and 8:00 and was told someone would be out there shortly. At 8:30 a guy arrives. Looks at the water heater and tells me what he need to do and asks if I need it fixed tonight. After I said yes he said he may need a part and leaves. By 8:45 I called the dispatch to find out if he's coming back. The dispatch calls the guy and then tells me the part stores are closed and he wouldn't be back would I like to be put back in the que for tomorrow.I was livid. My daughters birthday weekend spent waiting 10 hours only to be ignored and no communication as to my status and then told that the best they can do is leave a note, but can be there somewhere between 11&5...again!!!Fortunately the repairman showed at 0900 this morning. He was wonderful and made the repairs in under an hour. If I had a critique it was the lack of communication with the customer concerning calls. 10 hours and I had to make all the calls to find out status all the while making my daughter miss birthday fun.

Mike showed up at 9 PM on a Sunday night without acting like he was showing up at 9PM on a Sunday night. We explained our issue and that we had been using all natural products and plunging for about 7 hours at that point. First thing, he did NOT dismiss my efforts as ridiculous or a waste of time. He explained at the RR pricing and products and processes then got to work. 31 ft of snaking later, explaining how the kitchen ties into the nearest bathroom, and my clog was gone. I can't even explain how happy I was with Mike. His knowledge and experience and even the lateness of the hour, explaining everything to us. But most importantly, again, at my age and with my daughter helping for 7 hours, he did not dismiss all that we did, other than thank us for not using Drano. This is not my first emergency call to RR (broken pipe the first time) and will not be the last. Thank you Mike.

I had a pipe leaking in my kitchen wall and I scheduled service as soon as it happened. We were given a appointment slot a few hours later in the day. No big deal. Unfortunately, they did not show nor call. When we did call we were continually being told the tech is running behind. If I had known you wouldn't be able to service me today I would have gone with someone else in the area. When I did finally get contacted at 3 AM I was told that we had been rescheduled for 8-12 the following day. My family was without water all day. This is rediculous. You should call and keep someone updated better and set realistic expectations of service.Our service technician was amazing when he arrived.

I called them on a busy Saturday. My main water supply valve leaked all over. Mike (tech 703) showed up and took a look but didn’t think he had one extra part he needed. He called around and found someone who had the part and asked that tech to bring it. He started working and ended up finding that last part. All in all replaced my main water supply valve in about 20 minutes. Awesome work! Now when my pregnant wife gets home she’ll have water. Would definitely recommend them.

Of all days it was Fathers Day weekend, and both sinks in the kitchen were stopped up. My wife said it had to be fixed ASAP friends were coming over. We called and the service man showed up in 30 minutes. He went to work on the sinks and had parts to fix it on his truck, cleaned up the repair area, told us what not to put in the garbage disposal and all complete in about an hour. Very impressive. We were advised to use Roto-Rooter to help us identify a serious problem we're having with outside storm water drainage around our home. Our request was to help find any clog and/or breakage in existing under-ground drainage pipes previously installed by a landscaper - so we needed their camera service.... First request was done on line - a technician showed up - late on a Friday evening, with no camera or detection equipment. His notes (from dispatch) indicated the problem was with an outside sewer line. He was unable to do anything at all. He then called 'dispatch', explained the problem (that a camera was needed) in order to perform requested services. Second technician showed up a few days later (of course, you're provided a two hour window where you have to wait and hope they even show) - again, later in the evening - around dusk. He had a camera, but no 'detection' device to locate/identify IF a clog/leak was found - so could not do the work either. He called their camera department head and scheduled him to come out on a Saturday morning - supposedly first thing. We waisted our entire saturday waiting on him - only to call dispatch to find there was no appointment even on the books because the dispatcher process was basically circumvented. After wasting the day, we were then informed he would not be coming after all because he wasn't even at work that day. They (dispatch) then scheduled another appointment (we're now at #3) on Monday, Sep 22. A technician named Ty showed up who actually had the necesssary equipment and performed all requested work. He was EXCELLENT - both in his skills and in his knowledge base. He was very helpful and personable. So if we were to rate Ty, we'd give him 5 stars; but Roto Rooter's dispatch service and diagnosis/interpretation of what service needs to be performed is well below even acceptable or adequate. We'll never use them again. Also, we were quoted that the fee was $300; then were informed that it was $300 per line to run the camera inside them. So we were looking at $300 x 4 when we were told it was a flat fee service. Never again.

I n today's world, it's refreshing to know that some people still believe in delivering high quality customer service. Rotor-Rooter in Chesapeake is one of them! Very professional from the outset. Our water heater blew out on a Friday evening before a three day weekend, because that's always when stuff like that happens. The professionals at Roto-Rooter answered the phone after 1000 PM, told us they'd have a technician out in the morning to check it out. He was there by 9, gave a courtesy call as a heads up half hour before he showed up. Diagnosed the problem, gave me an accurate estimate. Was there the following day by 8 AM, ran into some fit issues with the new tank, worked through those with ease and was done by noon. Our technician, Steven was the consummate professional, courteous, kind, very knowledgeable and highly skilled. FIVE STARS all the way!

Very fast and very professional. Called at 6:15 pm for my washer backing up in my garage. By 7:00pm Gavin arrived and was able to get the pipes cleared quickly. Jacob & Alex both did a great job in taking care of my drainage issue. Jacob worked the day before and was willing to keep working but that would have been fruitless. He returned the next day with help (Alex) and they worked a long day to get the job completed. I didn't like the location of the clean out they installed but I understood why it is where it is. a high-pressure frozen pipe burst on a Sunday afternoon. based on Angie's List reviews, i called Rotor Rooter and requested both plumbing and water restoration services. their water mitigation specialist, S. Conner, drove through the dangerous roads and arrived within a few hours to assess the water damage. conversely, the plumbing service called about 6 hours later to say they still didn't have any available technician to repair the pipe. not their fault, as our region was hit hard by the winter storm. water mitigation began about 50 hours after the incident and continued for a week. I did have to take some initiative to find necessary equipment to keep the job moving, thus avoided a standstill (not good when dealing with water damage). Shawn and Ray were professional and VERY hard-working. punctuality and timely communication were not their strong suits, though one can empathize they were very busy with other ongoing jobs. Brian Payne, their manager, was professional and understanding.

I wasted my Saturday waiting for the plumber that never came. They were supposed to come 9-11 am, I even called at 9 am to verify. At 11:30 I called them and they said they'd be here before 1pm. At 1:30 I called again and they said show within 90 minutes. Never. Showed. Up. I called them again and they didn't seem the least bit apologetic, they just kept saying that their guys were at different jobs and would come to my house next.

I called this company at 4pm on a Monday asking to schedule a technician to come look at our backed up sink and the dispatcher told me he could have someone out to me within 2hrs. Austin showed up and was just so polite and pleasant as he assessed the situation. Additionally he was so kind to my young son who was VERY interested in what Austin was doing under the sink. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to complete the job same day but he scheduled with me to come back the following morning and he came and was just as kind as the night before. He helped us through the process and fixed the issues, installed the garbage disposal, and talked to us like we were old friends. Price was way too high. I told the customer service person that I was 30 minutes away but I guess that info didn't go anywhere or was simply disregarded. They were on the phone in a panic 15 minutes later saying that the technician was there and nobody was answering the door. What part of 30 minutes was hard to comprehend?

My dad shut the main water line off, TRYING to fix an issue in the bathroom, and he couldn't get the water back on. He fixed the issue in the bathroom and the main water wouldn't turn on. The knob kept turning and turning but we couldn't get the water back on. I called several other plumbing companies and was told it would be at least a $125 service fee. My dad didn't want to pay such a high service fee because he knew he'd need a new water valve. Since this was the main water line he thought it would be at least a couple grand. Imagine our surprise when Jason walked in, told him what the issue was and the quote was $380. All I could do was HAPPY DANCE. We hadn't had water since 9a.m., here it was 630pm and Jason was the answer to an all day issue. He was done in less than an hour. I would highly recommend rotorooter to anyone. We called at 5pm, told the tech our issue and she said he would arrive within 4 hrs...an hr and a half later he showed up knocked the job out and we had water.....oh yeah and there was NO SERVICE FEE.

We had the worst clog. I tried snaking it myself, I tried draino, I tried old-wives tales recipes - anything I could find online. Eventually I caved in and called Roto-Rooter. They sent James out in less than two hours and he had the sink 100% unclogged in less than 20 minutes. He was very helpful in keeping us informed on what exactly the problem was. He also told us about the black sludge that was in our pipe and recommended a product to prevent future clogs. Lastly he hooked us up with a discount that helped out our wallet. If we have any problems again, I will be calling Roto-Rooter and asking specifically for James. Thanks!

Long story short, Jason the technician is awesome. The last guy I had, not so much. Had to tell him what the problem was because he kept insisting it was something else we were already aware of. The camera tech is really good and very thorough but getting the camera appointment set can take a bit. Really have to stay on top of dispatch to get a call...

The two technicians that came out to my property were some of the most professional people I've ever met. The young lady in particular (Meg) I want to give a great thanks to. Meg unselfishly exhausted all options until she was satisfied with my request of getting more pressure in my shower. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Roto Rooter. Their team was always quick to respond, visiting our house as soon as possible, and working around our difficult schedules. There were no extra charges for appointments outside of the 8-5 normal business hours of other plumbers.Roto Rooter installed a new sink for us, and when we had problems with it, they came over twice (free of charge) to try to fix it. When they determined it was a problem with the sink itself, they gave me advice on how to return it to the store where I bought it. Appreciate the service and attention to our clogged drainage system. Our technician Mike (#0703) listened to our concerns and quickly diagnosed the problem. Today has been a crazy day from my grandparents pipe leaking heavily which became a bigger problem than we thought. Recently had them come out to property and camera a drain that runs from the house to creek nearby. Camera showed blockage, serviceman was very helpful. The following day they came to jet the line. The first attempt failed to give any indication of exit point and clear the line. The 2nd attempt located the exit point buried 2 ft in mud. Identified the problem and set up the property to prevent flooding. Appreciate their customer service for their help.

Called to let me know when and who would be showing up as well as what time to expect them. Mike arrived on time did an assessment and provided an estimate to complete the job. Work area was cleaned up and everything is working well.

A pipe burst at 4:30 AM and by 7:30 I had Austin from rotor rooter fixing my leak

They overstate the problem,we pay 400 dollars to change a pipe.that is not include the part.and it just take 5 to 10 minutes to change it.

$450 flat rate fee for snaking a drain?!? Asked over the phone for the price and dispatcher told me every home is different so it'll differ based on my plumbing. Technician Austin arrived pretty quickly and was very nice and professional. He was able to get my drain unclogged and draining properly. My review is strictly for the blatant lie from the dispatcher. RotoRooter prices are higher than everyone around. Your able to get people out and to the home quickly which is why you are convenient. Explain that to folks and let them make an informed decision. Quit decieving people in hopes they'll just say yes to the price when they don't believe they have another choice.

Fast service had a clog in the main I couldn't get out myself, tried for 2 hours and rotorooter came out quickly and had it fixed for me. They also covered their work for 6 months and explained why I might have issues again in the future.

Super fast response to help us with a clog in the main sewer line. Had water restoration come out the same day (again, very quick response) to help us deal with the sewage backup that came into the house. Very satisfied and will definitely use again. They replaced our water heater in 2005 and we were happy then as well.

Joe (Tech 2181) and Bobby (Tech 4381) did a great job servicing mu tankless hotwater heater. Both were very professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable. They took their time to be thorough answered all my questions.

My experience with Roto-Rooter was great. Our HOA had said something was broken and we needed to fix it. We called Roto-Rooter and they assured us this certain thing was not broken. They helped me out a ton and were very nice. They saved me a lot of money and hassle!

Woke up Friday Morning with a pipe leak underneath my house and Roto-Rooter was able to get someone there in no time. My technician was 703-Michael and he was very good. He assessed the problem and was able to fix it in no time. A bit pricey for the simple job, but his work is very well appreciated.

I called RotoRooter on 9/26 to request help due to a baked up sewer drain. They initially gave me a expected arrival time for their technician of about 10:15 am. I received numerous calls from RotoRooter indicating they would be later and eventually showed up around 4:30 PM. The technician was nice, but didn't seem very motivated. He attempted to find a clean out but was unable to find one and said that a toilet would need to be removed to clear the sewer line. To save money I pulled the toilet myself which took about 10 minutes. He began the process and realized that the snake was coming up in the adjacent toilet. He then informed me that the only way to clean the line was to go on the roof and clear it from the sewer vent pipe, but he was not allowed to go on the roof. He named a few companies that he thought would do the work and prepared to leave, Since I didn't want to have to wait another day for someone to come out and I needed the bathrooms, I suggested that we cut the vent pipe where it went thru the attic and clear the line from there. He agreed and then said they do that all the time. I wondered why he didn't suggest that instead of me. He did clear the blockage and patched the hole he cut in the vent pipe. The next day I had the same problem.The technician that came out this time was more experienced and very motivated and showed up in a more timely manner. He proceeded to climb on the roof and inserted a camera snake into my sewer line which showed the blockage and condition of the line and also cleared the blockage. He explained that the reason for the blockage was most likely the type of paper that I was using (Charmin) and the fact the newer water efficient toilet I have probably didn't push enough water thru the line to clear all the sewage. He was very confident that if I changed the brand of toilet paper to a more septic friendly type I would not have anymore problems. I have changed to the brand he recommended, but only time will tell if that really works. So far good.I think the work could have been done in one visit had the more experienced tech come the first time and would have saved me a lot of aggravation. I also though their fee was high, but of course it was the weekend.

The first Roto-Rooter plumber that arrived said that he needed to call a 2nd plumber because he was no physically able to do the required work under my house. That was a little disconcerting. However, the second plumber was very knowledgeable and had the job completed in less than 30 minutes.Roto-Rooter can be pricey, but my experience is that having work done right and within a reasonable timeframe is invaluable. I liked that I was always aware of the potential cost and had the opportunity to decline, if I was not comfortable with moving forward.

I previously wrote a bad review and I am now coming back to change it. We had plumbing problems that lasted after the plumber's visit and I was not satisfied. However, the manager reached out and made sure that the problem was taken care of and that our issues were resolved.Thank you to him and the plumber who came out to help us out.

Awful experience. After 24 hours of no water the plumber never showed within our appointment window. Called the dispatcher 3 times to check the status of the plumber's arrival and there answer was we do not know where he is. But the damage assessment women who was nothing but a salesman showed up twice. Tried to call customer service to complain and could not even get through. So my husband took off time from work to be home for the no show plumber.If you need a plumber call American Mechanical they came out within an hour and a half and were professional, fast, and very affordable!
