Initially, I was disappointed in the price not the service. The initial fee is $49 to come out which is deducted from service. After checking my shower leak, it was a valve needing replaced which caused the dripping. The quote before checking it was $225 then found out the part I had from Lowes would not work so the guy went to get another part to install. The work started at 1550 ( 3:50 pm) and ended about 1715 ( 5:15 pm) . Most of the time spent was difficulty getting the shower piece off then leaving to go and get the part. Putting the part on took every bit of 15 minutes. I am not sure how much the valve cost but it ended up being an additional $160 totaling cost of service $385. Wow, is all i can say! I'm an honest person and have no problems paying for service but I think this was extreme. This is an added comment just today….because the company did reimburse the additional $160! For that I would do business again because nothing was wrong with the service. Thank you!

We had a pinhole leak in one of our pipes located in our crawlspace. I called another company this past Wednesday, diagnosed the issue when they came in on a Thursday, but could not fix it until Monday because they were booked. I called Ali-cor and the lady over the phone gave me an early schedule for today (Friday). Brandon and Michael arrived early, were very professional, and were very efficient addressing the issue, plus they charged for a very reasonable price. I very highly recommend this company.

When I scheduled a repair, they graciously sent a skilled electrician to my aid.He was able to make modifications to both the electrical plug as well as the electrical outlet, and thus insure that my new clothes dryer would work.Michael and Son is a very good and reliable company to use, and I recommend them.

They charge $215 to find and repair a leak for 1hr of work, but 15 mins into the appointment it was determined there was no leak--still had to pay the full rate. Plumber did not wear booties and tracked mud into the house. He stepped on the toilet to be able to get a better look at the panel in the ceiling, despite having a ladder, but did not wipe it down after. He also made weird comments about my room. Overall, bad experience.

William Sullivan was our technician and he was AWESOME! I plan to use RS Andrews of Tidewater for all my future repair needs with my HVAC and Plumbing. We needed an emergent repair and William came out and was able to fix the issue. He was polite and courteous and apologetic for it being so late (which we didn't mind at all, we just wanted the AC back up and running :) ). Prices are reasonable too! We recommend.

HVAC system under warranty, woke up in the middle of the night to a heavy burning smell. Shut the system off and called the 24 hour service line. I was told that no warranty service is done on the weekends and I would have to call back Monday. So, because it's a warranty issue my family is only worth their time on weekdays?? It was in the 20's last night and will be again tonight and the call taker from Smith and Keene was cold and without compassion citing contract language and technical details- she could have cared less about not having heat in our children's bedrooms in freezing weather. Once the warranty is over we will be doing business with a company that does not leave people without heat in freezing weather.

I called Tony & Son because I had two outside spigots that were leaking. Tony gave me an estimate over the phone that was both fair and accurate. He showed up on time, knew what he was talking about, and did amazing work. He replaced one so that I won't have the same issue ever again, and was able to stop the other from leaking. He guaranteed his work for a year and overall I am impressed. I recommend this company.

Cody was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He arrived on time to replace a broken GFI receptacle and to give us an estimate on replacing the aging circuit box. He provided a clear explanation of what would need to be done, and an honest quote.The next day we discovered a second GFI had stopped working and Cody came back to replace it. Throughout the process, Get Lit was very punctual and kept us updated about appointments.When it was time to replace the circuit box (and add a new dedicated line outside), Cody and Chase arrived around 10am. They worked until 8pm that night to ensure things were working and we had light and heat (outside temp hovered around 30 degrees!) They were even careful to clean up after their work, sweeping the garage around the circuit box and taking some paper towels and spray to wipe off areas in the house where they’d left a couple of footprints! They were back the next day to finish installing the new outside receptacle and to finish labelling each of the circuits.Get Lit was quick to schedule an appointment and send an email confirmation after I called. They also sent us a confirmation call the day before and a text on the day of the appointment telling us the electrician (Cody) was on his way. Judging by Cody and Chase, their staff are friendly and committed to doing quality work.We would definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.
