Steve came out to our home and Suffolk on an emergency call and was extremely knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed our electrical issues while also helping disconnect a bad pump. Worked with another company who had been out on a service call to help solve the issues. He was amazing and dealing with the company. Zack was amazing!!! He was on time, communicated everything, was extremely fair on the pricing of the work he did, he even cleaned up my laundry room where my panel is and shook out the towel I have on the floor that gathers the mud and dirt off of my dogs paws when the run in and out of the house. I was and still am thoroughly amazed at how above and beyond he went with the work he did on my house. I definitely will be going through them again for any other electrical works that needs to be done on my house and will definitely be requesting that it’s him that does it!!
We recently purchased a home and we needed some electrical work and lights added. I had never had to hire an electrician so I used a lot of different websites and search engines, eventually I found this company through Google. They had really great reviews and I thought I would at least get an estimate from multiple companies. I had already done some research on costs for what needed to be done, but you never know until an expert gives you their insight. The appointment was booked online, I immediately got a text message to confirm and then I received a follow up phone call from Ashley, who set the stage for the company with excellent customer service. Their electrician, Clint showed up on time with a text message 30 mins before arrival. Clint was very helpful and actually offered different cost effective solutions to some existing issues. When we went over the quote for the work I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were, I had a new 200 amp electrical panel installed for less then the average price I found online and it works and looks great! I would recommend anyone looking for electrical work to give them a try, Clint and Ashely definitely made our experience less stressful and I feel we received an excellent value for the work we asked for. We're going to bring them back when we renovate our kitchen. I hope this review is helpful to someone stressing about electrical work.

My home is old so we are consistently upgrading everything. My power went out around 6:00pm and of course I’m freaking out. I don’t want my young daughters and wife having to go a minute without power. I quickly asked for recommendations and Get Lit kept being brought up so I called them for help. Within an hour Zack was at my house running diagnostics of what the problem is. Come to find out my panel and breakers were burning up. Zack explained everything and told me what needed to be done. My only concern was how quickly could this get done. Zack being very empathetic to what me and my family were going through said that with the severity of the situation he would see the earliest he could get it out done. Turns out Zack was there first thing in the morning and and completed everything before night. Very professional, answered every question, talked me through every process, just overall a pleasant experience. Huge thank you to Get Lit for having professionals like Zack who truly love their work and care about their customers!!! I’m now a Get Lit customer for life!!!

Man LISTEN. If you haven't called them yet, you're doing yourself a disservice. I called them on a Friday after I received a very expensive quote from another local electrician. They sent Tom out here the following Monday and he came ready to work. Not only was he able to troubleshoot my issue but he recommended a few things also covered in the price he quoted. The amount quoted saved me well over $2k that was initially provided by another place! The other place also stated they wouldn't be able to fix my issue until Jan 6. Tom just needed to run To the warehouse and he was back with all he needed.He spent a great deal of time here and that was awesome because he made sure it was up to his standards before leaving. I am so glad I made it my point to get a 2nd opinion. Because they should ha ve been the first choice. Thank you Get Lit!Update: Had an occurrence on 12/29 with my electric where I called them that evening and they were willing & able to get someone out the next day! Danny came today & kept it entirely real the entire time. Suggested a few things down the road and was honest with his work. Very detailed company that not only gives you a confirmation call the day before, but a text that they are on their way as well. They answered my questions during the estimate and when I called back because I forgot something, even getting the technician to call me personally so we were on the same page. They were on time on the day of install and were very professional and helpful. Great service, will definitely use again. Danny was our main technician and was great to work with.
We have an old house, with some old wiring, and 60 years of people trying to fix things when they should not have been. Not only was Danny fantastic, but when he realized it was not a one-man job, he even had the owner of the company come out. They worked all day And got the problem solved. They are my go to for everything and anything electric. I am super grateful that I can always trust them to come out and do a great job. Not only have they done a ton of work for me, but the service, responsiveness, and understanding of how stressful these types of situations can be, is far surpassed than any other company we’ve ever dealt with. Get Lit Electrical and Plumbing was absolutely amazing! This company was flawless from start to finish. The receptionists were very pleasant and helpful and they were able to get me on the schedule very quickly. The technician Drew was very skilled, informative, well mannered and helpful and gave me a very fair price for what I needed done. This company very clearly cares about their customers and their employees and it shows. The owner Bryan even came out to ensure everything was done exactly as it needed to be. Every single one of the office staff was wonderful as well as the technicians. They all were very friendly and provided great communication with me the entire time. I can’t say enough good things about Get Lit Electrical. Bryan, the owner, was friendly, on time, professional, and I thought their price was fair and reasonable. I also liked how they kept me well informed via text message at every stage of the process: appointment confirmation, appointment reminder, notification they were on their way with the name of the driver, etc. I had my outdoor floodlights replaced, and I’m very pleased with the work that was done. When he was wrapping up the job, I told him about a dimmer switch in my dining room that I apparently installed backwards just the previous day. I just wanted advice on what I had done wrong, I had intended to fix it myself. He said let me take a look at it, he repaired it, and did not charge me. Bottom line: if you are looking for an electrician, stop, don’t look any further. Go to Get Lit Electrical, you’ll get excellent service at a fair and reasonable price.

Zack came by today to give me a quote on everything I wanted to update in the house. He explained everything before I had to ask and he was very attentive to my pain points. If there was anything he could show me (the difference between the 4 and 6 can lights), he did and that was super helpful when making decisions. He gave me multiple options for the rooms I needed lights in and he was very professional the entire time. He didn't care how many questions I asked and he came up with multiple quotes for different variations of what I wanted in the house so I could make the best decisions. He went over financing options as well. Zack crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's. He took his time to make sure I got what I needed and was super patient. I lost power to my outside gazebo fan/light after a new pool light on the same circuit was installed. Ned responded promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem with a faulty GFI switch. Ned was personable and he professionally fixed the problem. Get It Electrical was very easy to deal with arranging an appointment with updates - highly recommend this company.

Joe at Get Lit, was awesome! Quickly troubleshot and repaired an issue I had paid two other electrical companies to address, but they both failed and after paying way more (TWICE)! Extremely knowledgeable and professional! I'll be calling them again for any issue we have.
The outside outlets weren’t working which also included the bathroom outlets. Cody (who was wonderful and very knowledgeable) found the reason and went to work. The outlets and covers were changed and everything was working! I also talked to him about the fluorescent lights that were in my kitchen and he suggested changing them to LED lights. I was blown away by how much light comes through and very satisfied with the result. He also helped me with other things which he didn’t have to! Reasonable prices and quality work! I highly recommend this company for any electrical issues you may have or if you just want to update your lighting! 5 stars for sure! Thank you again Cody!

I called on Thursday and set up an appointment. The earliest they could arrive was Tuesday between 3-6 pm. Gentlemen actually called around 12pm and stated he was able to come over now and he did. He actually replaced the breaker for my dryer. I'm sure we will be using Get Lit Electrical again in the future. THANKS!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Get Lit Electrical! The office was kind and helpful over the phone. I called their office at 1pm and an electrician (Stephen) was at my house by 3:30pm. The service was exceptional and Stephen went above and beyond to fix the issues with my outlets. We had our electric cable & meter box ripped off the house with a storm over the weekend. I had called 4 electricians & Bryan was the only one who answered & who came out on Saturday to assess the problem. The damages involved obtaining a permit, doing the work to include code upgrades and passing city inspection before Dominion Power would turn the power back on. Bryan, developed a plan, stuck to it and did everything he said he was going to do and kept us updated. Really would recommend Get Lit. Bryan & his crew, I believe his name was Corey, worked till late evening to get job done. Don’t let Bryan’s easy-going nature fool you, he is very professional and I would highly recommend. I am happy to have a new electrician point of contact, as my last guy has since retired.
This was my first experience with Get Lit and they will now be my go to. Steve was professional, friendly, on time and went above and beyond the call. He explained in detail what he was doing and helped me understand in case of future outages. Not only did he do an amazing job at my private practice, he even changed a light bulb when he asked if I was having trouble with the outlet for the hallway light. I told him I was an amputee and just had been putting off climbing up on a chair to reach the ceiling light.

The house needed to have the wiring upgraded. They did an excellent job! They cleaned up every day after they finished for the day. Clint and Jason were very professional . They were very polite and mannerly.
I called concerning an issue with my house and requested for them to come do an evaluation. Outstanding workmanship! Rapid reply to initial request led to on-site estimate visit within 3 days when other companies failed to reply or schedule. Our contractor Ned had a professional attitude and was able to answer all questions during estimate visit. Scheduled within 5 days we selected we selected GetLit over a cheeper out of town offer due to Ned’s professionalism and ability to answer EVERY question we had.Highly recommend!
We needed some trouble shooting and a repair to our outlet to fix a big electrical issue we'd been having, and Louis came and fixed it all for us! Received a price quote that was absurd for the job size. I was able to get a quote from a competitor the same day and it was 1/5 the cost. Past experience two years ago was positive so not sure what changed.
I reached out to 3 local electricians and Get Lit was the first to promptly answer and schedule a free estimate for the work that needed to be done. Corey was on time, efficient, and explained the problem and how he would fix it. He even went the extra mile by a time placing a couple of bulbs and cleaning up the area while he was out here. Great experience with Get Lit Electrical! 2 day project was successfully and quickly accomplished by Zack on day 1, then Zack, Chase, and Alex on day 2. High quality craftsmanship and excellent work done for the replacement panel, junction box fixes, and outlet installation!

Danny and Dante were a pleasure to work with. Courteous, thorough, clean, I could go on but I digress. My house was throwing Danny for a loop with how previous people had set up the switches for the fans/lights. Didn't have time to finish figuring them out, but that was already on the docket to do when I have them out again to do some lighting work. Would recommend Get Lit and Danny/Dante to anyone! Great work. On time for both the initial quote and for the scheduled work. Completely professional, answered all my questions and gave me options. Work was done as scheduled. Completely cleaned up the job when done. Doesn't even look like he was here except for the addition of two ceiling fans. Work included adding ceiling fixtures for the fans, running all the wire, adding switches to both rooms to control the fans. He also installed the fans I had purchased. I am sooo happy I found Get Lit. Louis was so very nice and helpful and explained everything upfront. We had some issues with water getting into the outlets, which we tried to replace ourselves, but then one outlet didn’t work at all and another one kept tripping. I was so afraid this was going to be a big problem, but Louis gave me a good feeling that he was going to be able to fix it. And he did! After finding out I needed an actual outlet installed after buying a new stove to replace the very old stove we had that came with the old house we live in I had to find someone to complete this task. I heard about Get Lit via radio commercial and I looked them up on the Web. After seeing the past reviews (all 5 stars) I decided to give them a call. Made the appt and Todd showed up on the appt day, earlier than the set time. He was very professional and polite and was able to complete the task in a reasonable amount of time. I felt a little bad due to the fact that we were having issues with our A/C and it was a little warm but that didn't stop him from accomplishing his task. Won't hesitate in calling them again if needed.

Zac is AMAZING!!! He came out the same day I was have an issue with my 1969 electric panel, to fix it so I my electric would run for my HVAC system. He was amazing replaced the whole electric panel only took him a few hours so professional so helpful very knowledgeable about what he does as an electrician completely saved my life and retired veteran with severe health issues with heat problems so I have to keep my house cold he was able to fix the electric to keep it going until he could replace the panel the next day then came in replace the panel got my HVAC working and I had a ceiling fan put in as well this company is absolutely amazing I would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of electrical work done you could even ask for Zack he is awesome and then today he came out and installed two ceiling fans and changed out some light switches for me which is absolutely amazing this company is outstanding

What a DIM experience!! We made contact with this company on Wednesday August 11th and scheduled an appointment for Saturday August 14th. We received a confirmation email of the appointment on August 11th. We later received, on August 13th, a phone call to also confirm the appointment. At 9:30, on the 14th, we received a text from the scheduled electrician requesting to come early. Then, at 10:30, Brian called to say that “ We don’t come to your area.” He stated that he didn’t know who scheduled the appointment. Attempted to discuss this with Brian after speaking with the electrician, but his mailbox was full and he never answered. Saturday plans ruined! So does the customer get paid the $69 cancellation fee since you all canceled in less than 2 hours?? Poor communication and poor business practices

We called Zach on a Sunday due to electric being out in part of our home. He was very professional, came out when he said he would and did not surprise us with any extra costs. He did a great job and we would highly recommend their company for any electric services that you may require in your home.
Personable, professional, and their pricing is very reasonable. They were able to install 4 light/fan fixtures in rooms with no previous fixtures or wiring for them, relocate a fixture, and install 2 bathroom light/exhaust fan combos in less than two days. It would have been ONE day, but we messed up and bought a light/fan combo instead of a regular fixture as previously discussed during the quote. They came in on their day off, with no additional costs, to ensure everything was installed properly. In addition, they take care of their troops by offering a military discount. Danny and Joe are the way to go! Would highly recommend to anyone. GET LIT!!

I had an issue with the electric heater in my apartment. The complex called Get Lit and they called me to set up a time to come out and assess the issue. The window they gave was between 8am and 11am. 7:30am the day of I got a call from Zach to confirm and to my surprise he was here at 8am sharp. Zach was a very professional guy and knew his stuff, not to mention he is also a Steelers fan!!!! Go Steelers!! He quickly found the issue and ended up replacing both the heater units in my living room and bedroom in little to no time. We also had home surge protectors added that not only give peace of mind in the event of a surge, but financial coverage should something become damaged.First, I'd like to state that Git Lit was the best quote we received out of 5 local electricians/companies. Not only did they have the best price by far, the services that were provided and listed via the quote surpassed the services of others by a mile. There was no suggestion to cut corners by not running wires behind the walls, leaving ugly industrial type metal/plastic cording. There was no poorly done trenching that would barely meet city inspection requirements. Bryan (the owner) and Danny met the challenge of my chandelier installation. I had informed them that my ceiling was approximately 18 feet high and that they would need an 18 foot ladder. They arrived early with the ladder and with precision maneuvering got the ladder in our home to remove the existing light fixture and replace it with the 3 times larger new one! It required some troubleshooting on their part which they accomplished with ease. They made sure I was aware of the dimming features and that everything was working well. Get Lit was very responsive to my Mom's generator needs. They were quick to respond and set up the first appointment. Zack was professional and responsive to all my questions. And most importantly, they had the new generator in stock and were able to install it within one week...not weeks or months out, like everyone else. When I noticed that the generator key didn't work, I called them and they were able to resolve the issue the next day. However, I was a bit shocked at what she was charged when she asked them to fix her closet light. I felt that was a bit steep considering they were already there. Otherwise, great job!

We called Get Lit after searching the internet for attic fan installation and an electrician came out to give us a quote with no charge. We were scheduled for service quickly after receiving our initial quote. Tom and the owner showed up the morning of our service day and were professional and thorough. We ended up having our house rewired to code, added a 30 amp plug for our camper and a surge protector for the house in addition to the attic fan because we felt very confident in Tom and the company. Tom stayed all day until all the projects were completed to ours and his satisfaction. We’re very relieved to have our house safe and protected. Highly recommend Get Lit Electrical for your electrical needs.

Free consultations, and they actually find the root cause of the issues rather than a surface level quick fix. I'll never use anybody else as long as they're still around. 10/10
I had the pleasure of having Tom come out and provide an electrical inspection as well as provide a quote on switching some light fixtures as well as adding two fans to two rooms that did not have them previously. Tom provided different options and was very knowledgeable. After meeting with Tom I accepted the quote and had the work completed the following week. Tom provided excellent customer service and completed the projects effectively and the end results are great.I would highly recommend Get Lit as well as Tom for any of your electrical needs.

We wanted to add an outlet in our kitchen, called a couple of places but they either did not answer or were scheduling us a week out. We called Get LIt and got us scheduled the next day. They sent out Danny, he showed up on time, very professional, gave us our estimate immediately. Once we agreed on a price Danny started working, got it done and cleaned up all debris. Highly recommend Get Lit and I hope and wish you get Danny as a tech, what a great person and awesome stories he shared with us.

We have used Bryan of Get Lit Electrical twice within a month. The first time was to install some recessed ceiling lights in a room, and a couple of outlets. He was fast, meticulous and very professional. He carefully analyzed the lighting needs and made a very good recommendation regarding the type, style, placement and number of lights need to properly light our room. He wanted to ensure that he understood our concerns and the best way to satisfy us BEFORE he started any work. His idea was much better than what we had originally thought ourselves. And, he cleaned up all the mess made during the work!The next time we used him was when we experienced loss of power in half of our house. It was a Sunday in February. We had also lost our ability for heat because of the condition. He mentioned on the phone that it sounded like a power company issue, but he would come out to assess it for us ( the power company would have us contact an electrician first before responding to our house. I am sure they wanted a professional look at the problem before sending one of their workers out first). Bryan came out immediately on that Sunday and quickly determined that it was, in fact, a power company infrastructure issue. He contacted the power company for us and they came right out without any questions. Bryan (Get Lit Electrical) was quick to respond, and very professional with his work. Get Lit Electrical is a dependable, reliable, trustworthy and professional company for all your electrical needs and services. I can highly recommend them to anyone without any hesitation.

This company is without a doubt the most professional, personable, and best customer service I have ever seen!! My electrical meter crapped out, needed licensed electrician with a permit pulled before Dominion would turn my power back on due to safety reasons. It’s 100 degrees outside, I call Get Lit and they had someone here within the hour!! Then they fixed the problem today and got an inspection and DOMINION turned power back on. ALL IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!! On top of all that I was constantly informed of when the guys were on there way via a text plus a follow up email! And a personal phone call!! I would only recommend this company for anything electrical you need done!! Thanks Get Lit!!!

Zack was great! He was able to diagnose our problem outlet and light fixture. Fixed them both and he also spotted a wiring issue that could have been very dangerous in the bathroom area. Technician (Louis) quickly troubleshot source of power loss to portion of our building and devised affordable repair to restore power without replacing buried conduit. Professional, polite, and efficient.
Absolutely phenomenal! From booking the appointment with Kelly right down to Clint fixing our light switch, it was all such a breeze. Clint was super great and got right to work on the switch when he arrived. Turned out the smart switch I had was damaged and just needed to be replaced. Took less than 30mins to get everything running again. He also made some solid suggestions on other switches, plugs and fire alarms that we hadn’t even realized was far overdue for replacement. Will definitely be returning again in the future. Highly recommended!

Company was able to quickly schedule an appointment during a demanding period after Christmas. Joseph was on time and extremely professional while taking the time to thoroughly explain everything he was doing. Most technicians are in and out of your home with minimal interaction and zero personality; however, this was not the case with this company and Joseph in particular. Will utilize them for all of our electrical needs in the future. HIGHLY recommend!!!
We had a new tankless water heater installed a few montgs ago. Two weeks ago the hot water was not consistant and the water pressure would fluctuate. When other companies couldn't figure out the issue we called Drew from Get Lit. Drew was very knowledgeable of the product we had installed and immediately advised us what the issue was and corrected it. After a week of cold showers and failed adjustments, I'd give Drew a 10 star review if I could.

I recently mounted a TV in my living room. I wanted an outlet installed behind the TV to hide those pesky wires. Get lit got the job done in about an hour. Fair on the price and got the look I wanted in the end. Thanks get lit!
First of all Danny came EARLY, major win. When Danny arrived, he was able to troubleshoot our transformer as well as our ADT skybell ring since it was not connected. Danny stayed until the doorbell connected to the ADT control app and made sure it worked. He was extremely thorough and friendly. We would definitely go through this company as long as Danny is working with them. Excellent & fast service!! 10/10 service!

I don’t leave many reviews but the speed of Get Lit to come to my house was incredible. If that wasn’t enough to make me happy, technicians Kyle and Todd came over and fixed the problem free of charge. I had to make sure they weren’t kidding and they said it was too easy of a job and it was there pleasure to help. Both technicians were polite, professionals, and both made every attempt to follow and adhere to all COVID safety precautions. No more googling required, Get Lit has a permanent customer, and I would gladly recommend their names to anyone in need.

We had an outlet install for our master bedroom closet. Clint came to check it out, we had no idea we'd get same day installation. Clint was very knowledgeable and quick! Price was fair. We are very happy and will use Get Lit again if necessary.
Danny was great! Very professional and even put the outlet so that the cord could reach the car perfectly. He seems to take customer service seriously, was patient with all my questions even in this heat. The technician was patient and professional and I appreciated his efforts.
I was happy with the tech and his expertise, but the cost of electrical repairs provided (very minor) were way, way too expensive. I caution you that before you use Get Lit you may want to consider if you can do it yourself or find someone else who might be a lot less expensive.

Flat out the best service I have received ever. Louis was beyond thorough in diagnosing an issue that several other companies were not able to fix. Not only did he fix the problem, but he was willing to educate me on the problem and explain everything in detail. One of the soffit light under the gutter of the 2nd floor was short circuitted by squirls that made a hole on the roof nearby and damaged some wiring in the attic. I asked Michael and Sons to fix and got a quote about $1700. They insisted on fixing all damaged wires in the attic instead of the short circuit problem. I felt that I could do the simple wire repairs so I didn't accept the offer. After a few years, I realized that I needed a professional to do the wire repairs in the attic and called Get Lit Electrical for an estimate after seeing the excellent online reviews. Their estimate was about $3000. But the crew went to hard-to-access locations and found damaged wires that were not discovered before. I was shocked by the high price but impressed by their careful inspection. So, I accepted the offer with the specifics of what they were going to do. On the day of the service, I asked them to save all damaged wires for me because they proposed to replace 200ft of damaged wires. At the end, a small pile of replaced wires (as shown in the attached photo) was provided. My rough eatimate was much lower than 100ft. They explained that some damaged wires were not removed but replaced with new wire at a different route. But it didn't explain the huge difference. I told them that i would pay for the provied wires plus some margin, not the 200ft they claimed. They called the manager and reduced the repair cost to $2096, which included 100ft new wires for the replaced wires shown in the picture. I am happy that they fixed the damaged wires and the short circuit problem. But I also feel that their esestimate was very inaccurate. My suggestion is ro get at least two estimates from two vendors for complicated electrical repairs. If you only use one, ask the service crew to save the replaced items so that you can verify that the actual repair is the proposed one!

I feel like this business gives fair quotes and does good work. I had to price out some work and it was WAY more reasonable than other nonsense quotes I received. They were communicative about appts and responsive when I had to reschedule or had questions. Would def recommend.

Called Get Lit the first time to run new electrical for a ceiling fan and light fixture; Danny showed up and did a great job. My wife and I were very happy with the quality and professionalism. We then had Danny and Joe out to re wire my entire garage. All new panel and outlets and also fixed existing wiring and got everything up to code that the previous owner had badly installed. They were both very professional and friendly and answered all my questions. They went above and beyond anything I could have asked. Danny even insisted on sweeping his mess after I told him not to worry about it (my garage is currently in shambles; with the exception of the wiring now). I will definitely be using Get Lit and requesting Danny and/or Joe for future projects.

After discovering a plumbing issue in one of our bathrooms, I called Jason, practically in tears and very overwhelmed. He came out the next day and laid out a plan to help fix and restore our house. It's become very hard to find honest, hard working people in this current climate that aren't out to take advantage of homeowners. My radar is up! Bryan and the team at Get Lit are the complete opposite: From the first office contact to set up appointments, to the work done, arrival times, and efficiency — Get Lit are pros. They did our panel upgrade swiftly and pulled the permit, agreeing to come back immediately after inspection bc of random quirks the inspector asked for. They didn't hesitate! Furthermore, after our technician Danny was called away (I later found out it was to donate time for tornado affected power issues), the owner stepped in to keep our appointment. I would highly recommend this company. I was referred to Mr. Albright by a member of the Aragona Civic League and I'm so grateful for that referral . It's a Saturday , on a Holiday weekend and he had one of his electricians named Daniel come out. Daniel found the problem quickly and made the repair . On top of the great service , the prices were reasonable and they asked if I had Military ID , and they gave me a discount . I previously hired a contractor to install recessed lighting in one of my rooms. He not only told me recessed lighting couldn't be installed due to my vaulted ceilings but blew a fuse and never came back to complete the project!So glad I found Yahsh. So when hubby goes to cut the shower walls out/off the wall HE HIT THE FRIGGIN' MAIN ELECTRICAL WIRE COMING IN FROM THE ROAD!!!!THE DUMBASS HOME BUILDER INSTALLED THE ELECTRICAL PANEL RIGHT BEHIND THE SHOWER (which in & of itself is retarded planning) BUT THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THE ELECTRICIAN WHO BUILT THE HOME REFUSED TO CUT THE ORIGIONAL HOLE 'THROUGH' THE STUD (which is proper & to code)!!!!INSTEAD HE JUST POPPED IN IN WHEREVER THE HELL HE FELT LIKE IT AND BYPASSED NORTH CAROLINA CODE TO SAVE HIMSELF 10 MINUTES!!The electrician from GIT LIT ELECTRICAL came out and said that it WAS to code (but it's not! I called like 3 other electricians, including my brother and they all agreed that this is NOT TO CODE)Other than the dude from G.L.E. saying the opposite he did a great job and installed it properly! 👏This was a customers home (not our own) and so OUR company paid for the work (which was around $1,200 including the $275 emergency service fee for them coming out that day)I have no complaints 😌 & I would recommend GIT LIT Electrical for your electrical needs! The whole experience with Get Lit was positive. Making the appointment was quick and hassle free. When Jason arrived he was kind and very thorough. When the problem was not what I initially thought, Jason had to put on a detective hat and didn’t mind me asking a million questions.
Corey did another fine job for us installing a generator interlock and plug making it safe and easy to run our generator during a power outage. As I knew he would he took time to work out every last detail and explain everything so that there was no doubt that we were happy. Get Lit was fast, through and professional. Tom did great work making our new home safe by fixing low quality work by previous owner and electrician. Get Lit offers a lifetime warranty on their work, showing they stand behind it and its quality. While maybe not the cheapest this makes them a great value in my book. And as the saying goes, good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good. Would hire again.

I hired this company to do a job around the end of summer. When it was all said and done they came out 3 separate times. I strongly feel like the workers took advantage of the fact that my wife was there and I was not. The work was lazy, the patch jobs lazy, and all the issues they claimed were happening were magically solved when I was home on the 3rd visit. Later on after the final visit my wife found drywall and instillation under our sink where they left a mess and didn’t bother to clean it up, and the final straw is now, months later I go to fix a separate issue and they had striped the screws on my dishwasher. They were the last people to put the screws in, and I know it was them. I would not recommend this company.

This is the third time I've used Get Lit and each time had been a positive experience. It's Saturday and the Tech, Daniel, showed up right away at about 8AM to replace an outlet. He was in and out in less than an hour. Their techs are friendly and professional and the prices are very reasonable. I've only had one instance with a scheduling issue and they worked with us to find the earliest acceptable replacement date. They're definitely my go to electricians in the area.

They did an ok job replacing some kitchen electrical for 1500 so I figured I’d get an estimate on some work for one of my rental properties. Usually technicians will call when they’re on the way. All I got was a text saying your appointment is between 8 and 11. I’m not just hanging out at the rental all morning. He gets there at 9 and calls and leaves a voicemail. I text back and get there at 9:15, no ones there. Then they send me a bill for $70 for cancellation. I called and they said they couldn’t remove the charge. They won’t get it from me regardless. I have 14 rental properties and need electrical work often. They wont be getting my business again, over a $70 bs charge for a “free estimate”.**Update**No sir, that’s not true. There is nothing in the email about a cancellation fee, nor was it disclosed to me when I called to schedule a “free estimate”. It’s not in the “terms and conditions” that were in the email either. It’s deceptive business practice to try to bill me. You’re not getting it.

Had issues with grounding to our pool - Get Lit came out the next day and was on time/very professional. I worked with Steve and Zack - they stayed even later to fix the issue even called Power company to come correct the issue and they were there in 30 min! I was very impressed with these guys and would use them again - highly recommend! 5 Stars.

Called a competitor of theirs to have a dryer outlet installed and they were so booked up they recommended Get Lit. Called them up, they were out the next day for an estimate and had the work done within a few days. Great communication with the installer and it says a lot when a competitor recommends you for work they can't handle.
such a good experience! was my first time using them and won’t be the last since i have to get my whole panel replaced, got my circuit breaker bandaid for the meantime till i am able to get it replaced! Danny was so polite and informative when i asked questions, 10/10.
Danny and Joe replaced my breaker box today and did an excellent job. They worked around our schedule, did exactly what they said they would in the amount of time quoted. No surprises and he even checked a few other electrical issues for us while he was here as a courtesy. Get Lit has now done a few jobs for me and I have never been disappointed. Met the owner when he was with another company and he expressed his ambition to start out on his own. When he did I called him to do some more work. I was very pleased. Recently I had a major electrical issue who h caused me much stress. Jason was very Professional and Friendly!! He did an amazing Job installing our gas Water Heater. He was very thorough in explaining everything and he left the workspace very clean. Very punctual and professional. I needed an outlet installed mid-wall so I could mount a TV. A couple companies passed on this job because the wall was a shiplap wall and the box needed to be fabricated for the shallow wall. Louis did a great job and was in and out in an hour and a half. Highly recommend reaching out to this company first for any electrical needs.

We lost power which meant no heat on the week we saw lows drop to mid 20 degrees, so this was an emergency and Get Lit had technicians out the next morning earlier than appointment time. Tom and Chase were both very professional and took time to update us as the work progressed rather than overloading us with all the detailed work at the end only. It was freezing could outside but that didn't make them want to rush the job and took all the time they needed to make sure the job was done right. unlike the seller of our house whom just wanted to flip it and left a mess in the three phase connection in the power meter but Get Lit Electrical with the aid of Tom and Chase replaced and repaired what we needed.

Listen, when I read all of the reviews I was a bit skeptical since rarely do you hear people raving about home repair/installation businesses, especially with the 5 star reviews on average. I needed some recessed light fixtures installed in my Den and hallways. Between getting a timely quote and scheduling, they get 5 stars right there!! My electrician, Stephen, gets 10 stars alone if possible!!! He and his help came within the scheduled time and knocked the work out with outstanding timing and precision!! The work looks great and now my rooms are up to date and we'll lit. The pricing is fair and very affordable (this coming from an individual not swimming in money). This is their second time coming out to our house. Their sensitivity to time and professionalism are exactly what we were looking for when we moved here. We've had to work with many companies in the area because of the renovation process and Get Lit have been our favorite. They do the job no matter how small or big. They never said that it will take too long, or it will be too hard, or they will be charging more. Joe even called his coworker to come help because something got tricky. Needed an electrical outlet installed for a new gas fireplace insert scheduled to arrive soon. “Get Lit Electrical” was recommended for the task. He was polite, wore a mask, and asked for permission multiple times before entering spaces that he needed to work in. He made suggestions to services he noticed should be taken care of as well, without being pushy like you get from some larger companies. We had our electrical needs met promptly by Ned and his son. It was a 2-day job and they made sure we had our air conditioning and all electricity the first evening! This was very appreciated since it was extremely hot! Ned communicated throughout the job and was very thorough in explaining his findings. Ned had very recently adjusted our panel box and installed a surge protection system. Then it was discovered that the laundry closet next to the circuit panel wasn't deep enough to accommodate any washer and dryer on the market! Had an entire circuit of light switches stop working one day. Called Governor's Electric in Hampton and they sent a gut out who just took a couple of pictures, pulled a couple of switch covers off and left- a $60 charge. That was 11 days ago. I called multiple times and got the run around on an estimate. I called Get lit on Monday and had someone out here on Wednesday. After about 10 minutes of troubleshooting he found that one of my kids had moved a switch on an external generator panel, killing that circuit. That was it- excellent job spotting the one thing that didn't look like the rest. I will always call Get Lit from now on with any electrical issue I have! Thanks!

Had an amazing experience, I was in need of an electrician quickly and when I texted I received a very quick and friendly call right away. There was availability to give me an estimate same day! When Cody arrived he was very professional and friendly. I explained what I needed and we discussed all of my options to come up with the best plan. He was also able to complete the work same day which was awesome. Last but certainly not least I had 3 other electricians come in for a stove issue who could not give me a working solution, Cody was not only willing to figure it out but he did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I have definitely found my go to electrician service.

Shut down major home systems to lessen risk overnight. Next day service with entire team to rectify issue. Clean install and left property better than found after install. Misled me by saying they would give free estimate when scheduling appointment, then charged $200 for troubleshooting simply to use a multimeter and tell me that I had a voltage reading from power supply. Never told me their pricing until handing me the bill right before leaving. Highway robbery. Talked to owner who still charged me anyway. Bad company. Take your business elsewhere.

Stephen and Chase were both great to work with. They provided an estimate during their initial visit with a line item for each project we discussed. They also worked with me to modify the estimate as needed and were out here doing the work the day after I approved everything. They were on time daily and worked very efficiently. Also did their best to clean up at the end of each day. Lastly, they went above and beyond when pointing out that my meter was hanging off the exterior wall of my home and were kind enough to mount it once again at no additional cost. What a pleasure it was to do business with this company. From start to finish the whole process was organized, clear, and professional. Brian Arrived exactly on time which was surprising since most service persons rarely do. He did his job efficiently and did not mind my sister and I watching and talking to him while he worked. He was remarkably friendly which we really appreciated. He did a great job and I think the cost is very reasonable. I now know who my electrician Will be for any future work.

We had several bad GFCI's, one of which was capable of catching fire. Tom came out and looked at everything for free, gave me a very fair estimate and was able to complete all of the repairs quickly. He was extremely friendly, professional and thorough. He's the one who noticed that one of the GFCI's was capable of causing a fire and showed me the burnt outlet. This company was available within a few days of my calling then, which was a lot better than the other 3-5 companies I contacted first. Ned came in to give me a quote to replace a ceiling far and to determine what was happening in my garage as none of the lights turned on. He quickly determined the cause for that and was able to give me an immediate quote. My gable vent fan in the attic was not turning on which was making my home very hot. I contacted Get Lit and they were quick to get me on the schedule in the next couple days. Danny showed up and gave me a rundown on what he would do to troubleshoot the issue. He told me the service fee up front and quickly got to work. He was able to diagnose the issue as a thermostat problem, which saved me money instead of installing a new fan. He fixed the thermostat and cleaned up the work area. I am very pleased with the honest and professional service and will definitely call Get Lit for any future electrical repair needs.

Louis came out to give an estimate on troubleshooting a faulty garage GFCI outlet we had. He was able to correct it on the spot at a very fair price. He also made the time to investigate and repair another issue we had with a bathroom outlet (separate from initial call request). Let me start by saying I would highly recommend Get Lit Electrical Company. I spoke with Bryan who was able to get me an last minute appointment with in minutes after I explained my concerns they were very eager to make sure me and my family were safe when it came to my issue. They figured out the issue within minutes with it being a power company issue and were extremely honest. They contacted the power company for me and it resulted in the power company having the replace the power lines on my street that night because the issue was so serious. If it wasn’t for Get Lit Electrical Company my whole street could have burned up their appliances or even worse. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you again, I learned a lot and my lights are not flickering anymore. Horrible experience, Im required to pay all this money accurately and timely but my service was done wrong. Then trying to get it fixed just caused more issues (that they did) and all the owner could say is “what does he want me to do I made it right” ..and doesn’t seem to understand my frustration or inconvenience on my end. A apology or something to show your sorry for screwing up goes a long way.

These guys are phenomenal. Danny and Joe came out and did a two day job upgrading a few different things in our new home. They upgraded our panel and meter base, upgraded our pool circuit and installed some new equipment, and actually discovered and repaired a condition which I know for a fact would have led to an electrical fire at some point in the near future. The crew that worked on my house was amazing and I get the impression that standard is held across the company. I look forward to having them back out for some more work scheduled in June and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

So, while visiting my daughter an electronical problem occurred. When I called they only had a Friday morning available. Two days away! Joe did an awesome job fixing our attic fan and also installing a light in our shower. They were $150 less than Kellam Mechanical! Also, their service fee which is applied to the project, is $50 less than Kellam Mechanical! I will be using this company for now on.
Danny needs a promotion immediately. So knowledgeable and professional. He is the first technician I didn’t have to ask to put something on his feet when he got to my front door. That’s great service. A little pricey but that’s what you get with amazing skills.
Joe was very helpful in repairing a run of wiring that I inadvertently damaged while installing a light fixture. He explained what he was looking for as he went through troubleshooting procedures, and he took the time to show me the damaged section of wiring before repairing it. We will be using Get Lit for all of our future electrical projects based on the timely appointment and the great service we received from Joe.

I cannot say how wonderful this service was. Came home to find my garbage disposal was leaking. Contacted Get Lit and they responded within five minutes later. Two minutes after that I had an appointment for that day, and literally a minute later my technician Drew was on his way. He was so friendly, efficient and quick. GREAT experience starting at the first phone call. We recieved a free in person quote the very next day. They even put up with trying explain what I wanted without having much electrical knowledge or lingo. They were not pushy and didn't try to get us to do additional work to rack up the bill. The job was quoted to have two people assigned. The same guy who quoted us was the lead on install day. It was nice having that continuity. The two gents were very helpful! They offered assistance and ideas to accomplish what we wanted which would save us money. They worked in and around our children very well! We just moved and recieved our household goods which left our house a disaster; these two helped us move boxes and equipment around in the areas they needed to access. They never complained nor did they seem disgusted with the tasks they were here to accomplish. I changed my mind on some locations of outlets and they weren't upset at all. I will 100% be calling these guys back for anything electrical I may need/want in the future.

First and for most I highly recommend Get Lit.When I called them we were extremely concerned for how our attic wires looked. They sent someone for a FREE ESTIMATE and yes free no gimmicks. Then sent out a man named Cody and he spent a good two hours repairing the wires behind our water heater but also inspecting our concerns, he gave me a estimate to rewire the whole attic and for the wires behind the water heater (the problem I called for) Cody then returned the next day to rewire my attic. Both times he was on time and very prompt. Cody then begin work and when I say I have never seen a contractor work so hard I couldn't believe it he was up and down in the attic above our garage all day he never stopped and he had a amazing attitude the whole time. My 4 year old son was home and thought he was pretty cool and Cody would answer his questions and he was very aware of his equipment to keep us safe. He was also extremely clean and even cleaned the walls where he was working. Cody wanted to make sure it was done before my husband ships out again so we have peace of mind and he sure did! Not only do I highly recommend this company but if Cody is indication of the people they hire your in great hands!

I truly and genuinely appreciate Get Lit Electrical. I've had continuous problems with electricity in my home ever since I purchased it last year in June. I informed Get Lit of my concerns. Chris, a Master Electrician, was sent out to conduct an estimate. He was very transparent, open and honest about my situation. I had no idea that the electrical work was at minimum 30+ years old although the panels and breakers reflected. LolThe estimate was a great price including all work around the home with guaranteed financing through a third party. (Less than $200/month). They had a problem with a faulty wire in which they came back out within a few days of my call with their supervisor there to assist for reassurance. He showed up and immediately went into let's jack up the price mode!.. was going to spend 10 minutes in his van to right up an estimate to install a light fixture! I called the office and told them to tell him to leave!!! Add: I wasn't given a price to be upset with!. I was told someone would be out to INSTALL a light fixture! Not give an estimate! The light fixture was already removed!!! They were going to have to do a diagnostic testing to see if the line was live.. You turn on the light switch and test with a current probe. 2 Seconds. The whole interaction was terrible. Stop trying to rewrite history.

I will never use another electric company but get lit electrical again! Stephen was so professional. I called them for a quote to get some outlets outside for my greenhouse. He gave me mulitple options and. He looked a the breaker box after i told him the company who put our generator box in said he moved stuff around. Stephen seen it right away that the other company combined 2 wires on the circuit they had also connected a 14 amp to a 30 amp breaker. It could have melted and burnt our house down. It wasn't to code at all! Stephan did an absolutely fantastic Job. He fixed that other company mistake for us.I've never had an electrical job on the outside or inside of the house looks so nice. Everything looks so nice, and he installed new breakers and made sure to lable his work. The quality of work and the service I got today will have me onlybusing and recommending this company. Had an issue with my pool pump. I wired the new one in but it wouldn’t come on. Call Get Lit. Cody came out checked everything from panel to outside breaker and figured out that one of the wires was not making contact. Fixed and it came right on. Got here on time very professional and pleasant to work with. Will use again for any electrical issues we have in the future. Well done Cody and Get Lit.
I was scheduled to have a garage door installed this morning. I went to remove a light fixture and install an outlet for the opener and found some wires that I didn’t expect to see (3-way switch). It was out of my comfort zone to mess with. Called Get Lit yesterday afternoon and was able to get something scheduled this morning. The tech arrived and got right to work. Very friendly and personable. Ended up having a new constant hot outlet installed. Well worth the peace of mind. I will definitely be using them again!The only reason I didn’t select the good value option was because I didn’t have time to shop around. However, people in the trade field are well worth the money we pay. Especially when the work is done efficiently, correctly, and with good customer service from the tech.
I had a terrific customer experience with Get Lit Electrical and Plumbing. They installed a whole home surge protector at our house and checked our panel after a electrical strike destroyed our outdoor AC unit. I have only very good things to say about the quality of the service from start to finish.

Got a free evaluation on getting a ceiling fan installed where there had not been one before. Once I approved the quote he got to work right away! He was very professional and just around a very nice guy. He even swapped out one of my plugs with a newer one when disconnecting it from the switch so we could plug in the fan to the switch. I'm very satisfied with Get Lit Electrical and will be calling them again for more work in the future.

We called this company to help with some of our lighting in our warehouse. We needed to relocate a wall switch from downstairs to upstairs and take out a long fluorescent light and replace them with 4 pot lights on a dimmer switch. Zack came out to give us an estimate and was very pleasant and nice. After walking around and assessing he came back with a very reasonable estimate for the work that needed to be done! Not only that, but he said that he would be able to do the job and complete it that day! Who could say no to that?! Zack was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain why he was putting the lights in specific spots and even showed us how to operate everything properly. I had power go out unexpectedly, went online with no prior knowledge who to call or trust, my wife liked the named Get Lit, so we agreed to give them a try, especially after reading so many rave reviews. After hearing their ads on the radio, and being in a tight time spot, I called them after not getting a response from a provider I knew better. They were able to get me an appointment the next day for a non-emergent installation of a disconnect for my hot water heater.I received an immediate text to tell me that Danny had been assigned, then a text to let me know that he was on his way on the day of service. Danny was friendly and professional on arrival in a clean-looking service vehicle. He listened to my needs for the service call, assessed the issue, and began work.After completing his task, my HVAC provider arrived, and Danny performed an additional task of testing the A/C cutoff. He could have easily declined, but, instead, he helped the HVAC, by extension, me. If Danny is any representation of the employees of Get Lit, I will absolutely use them for ANY further electrical needs.

Zack and his crew, Dante and Chase, were consummate professionals from the first estimate to the last day of work and cleanup. The guys were all very polite and respectful of my home and space. Zack was actually the first and only electrician to give me an estimate after I had called two others. He seemed to enjoy the challenge of my project because he tackled it with a tenacity that I have rarely seen among tradesmen. Shout out to Dante for running down all my dead circuits and identifying the good ones. Shout out to Chase for crawling everywhere under my house and in the attic. Also special shout out to Bossman Bryan for stopping by in his monster work truck to check out the job and cleaning up the spaghetti in my panel. I called Get Lit for an estimate on installing new outlets in an old house. Danny came and quickly and efficiently described the work that was needed and, shortly after he left, I had an estimate. He came a few days later and did the work, finishing in about 2.5 hours. He did a very neat and tidy job, cleaning up any debris left from cutting plaster to add electrical boxes. He was very polite, concerned for our safety and wellness, and even wore shoe covers. A real plus: he was great with my dogs!

Cody was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He arrived on time to replace a broken GFI receptacle and to give us an estimate on replacing the aging circuit box. He provided a clear explanation of what would need to be done, and an honest quote.The next day we discovered a second GFI had stopped working and Cody came back to replace it. Throughout the process, Get Lit was very punctual and kept us updated about appointments.When it was time to replace the circuit box (and add a new dedicated line outside), Cody and Chase arrived around 10am. They worked until 8pm that night to ensure things were working and we had light and heat (outside temp hovered around 30 degrees!) They were even careful to clean up after their work, sweeping the garage around the circuit box and taking some paper towels and spray to wipe off areas in the house where they’d left a couple of footprints! They were back the next day to finish installing the new outside receptacle and to finish labelling each of the circuits.Get Lit was quick to schedule an appointment and send an email confirmation after I called. They also sent us a confirmation call the day before and a text on the day of the appointment telling us the electrician (Cody) was on his way. Judging by Cody and Chase, their staff are friendly and committed to doing quality work.We would definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

Danny T. did a great job troubleshooting, installing a new outlet, and fixing old plug-ins for us. We already plan on having him come back for some other electrical work in the future. He was on time, professional, and worked quickly.
Customer service is good, but paying $200 for a 5 minute troubleshoot when the problem was a tripped GCFI outlet is a little outrageous. They claim they do “free estimates” but the “estimate” is simply the drive to your home, and shortly thereafter they have you sign an invoice for troubleshooting that costs $240 upfront. Appreciate the $40 discount but $200 is still a little steep for a gentleman to walk around my house twice and leave. Will not be using this company again.

Installed 2 waterproof outside outlets with nice clear covers, connecting from box in garage around the house to back to about a 40ft. extension. Cleaned up loose after use wiring and equipment after themselves. Were professional and courteous. I have used this company before and they have always done great work.

Corey Merritt came out and installed a generator kit in my circuit panel. This allows me to hook up my generator to the newly installed outlet and do a partial home power when the electricity it out. Very nice and professional guy. Really knows his stuff. Would highly recommend Get Lit!

Kyle was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. We unfortunately hired an independent electrician prior to Let’s Get Lit. He spent all day troubleshooting then did not show back up to complete the work as scheduled. Blessing in disguise because that guy wanted to cut holes in the wall. Kyle showed up ahead of schedule, figured out the problem, and fixed it within 2 hours!
My experience was great from scheduling to my actual service. I had a troubleshooting session with Danny.. Danny arrived before my scheduled and spent hours here too ensure he was able to provide a solution to my family's problem. I LOVED the text we revived when our technician was on the way. Louis is am amazing electrician!!! He came on time wearing a mask and booties, which made me feel comfortable with him entering my home during this pandemic. We heard a buzzing noise in the attic, called at 910 pm at night and was greeted professional on the phone. Corey was dispatched to the house and he did an outstanding wonderful job , found the problem and fixed it and now my mind is at ease. Clint was punctual for the initial estimate of the work we wanted done immediately, and went above and beyond to provide us additional estimates for work we are thinking of doing in the future. He was able to come back within a week of the estimate to install an outlet, upgrade switches, and install recessed lighting. He was on time for that set appointment, very personable, respectful of our home and property, and explained everything that went along with the lighting including showing me how to change the light colors of the LED lights. I would definitely recommend the company, and specifically Clint, just from the work he did for us!

They have been incredible with the service they provided. We have an old home that we’ve been updating. Between the electrical panel carrying too much load on a few circuits and outlets not working. They guys were incredible I’m updating and fixing our issues we don’t have by more wires tripping and everything works. They were respectful and careful with the house and our personal belongings. We’d call them back again for any electrical matter.
Danny and his associate worked on my home today replacing our electircal panel, installed ground rods, lights, various outlets, and troubleshot and repaired multiple electrical problems around our home. From the time we submitted an online request for a quote to when services were completed, our experience with Get Lit Electrical was phenomenal! Louis came out and gave us an inspection and provided quotes for our business condo to bring it up to code and help our space to accommodate our needs after we moved in. Once here, he and Jason were helpful, professional, kind, and more than knowledgable about the work to be done. The condo we purchased was built in the 1980s and they brought all electrical into the 2020s! We had work to the panel completed, all outlets and switches replaced, a new outlet for our commercial printer installed, all overhead incandescent lights upgraded to LED, and they even installed special overhead lighting for our personal offices. The work was impeccable and the price was more than reasonable. We loved everything that was done so much that we have already received a quote for our personal home to be completely rewired. Louis is extremely professional, knowledgeable, teaches as he performs his work, and his work is as artistic in its finish as it is in the quality he instilled in the job. I will not have to worry about my home's electrical service for decades into the future.Shown in the pictures is what my blown Switch Panel looked like 'before' and 'after' the replacement/upgrade.Louis did the switch panel, new grounding rods, and emergency generator interlock installations in one day.The next day, he brought along Joe and Todd to perform an aluminum treatment throughout the entire house...Joe expertly prepared copper pig-tails to buffer nearly 100 old aluminum wiring connections in the house...Todd in turn installing brand new outlets and light switches. I HIGHLY recommend Danny at Get Lit Electrical. He and his partners, Donte and Joe did an amazing job with all my electrical needs. I had a big project to update my 1980’s home. I prepared for this visit like I would any other visit now days. Get ready for the “inspector” to throw a big price at you. That type of thing happens all the time now. Not at all what I experienced today with Get Lit!We need more companies like Get Lit. Cody came out today and I was more than impressed. No sales pitch. He just looked at my system, told me some likely problems, and how we could fix them for FREE! Of course if they don’t work, we have some follow up plans and the price seems very fair.I’ve used Get Lit before this, and I was very happy after both visits. I call them every time as I know I can trust them and trust just isn’t common in today’s home remodeling industry! Thank you Get Lit!
Great service from Danny! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the job . He was very patient and even took the time to explain to me and teach me about the process of the electrical installation that he did for my home. He restored my garage power in a well timely manner and replaced electrical switches which had gone bad. Zack was absolutely amazing and efficient with his work with electrical installation in back yard for our hot tub and pool. He also added some extra outlets in our Guest room for us. We needed a new hot water heating. Jason came out and went over all of the options. We settled on a new tankless system and we couldn’t be happier. The cost estimate is higher than expected for the work being done. The company offered competitive finance options and were able to move forward quickly. While cost was a bit excessive, the quality, peace of mind and reliability is priceless. The team was professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and hard working.

I called for service at approximately 12:45 pm and Zack the electrician was on site at 1:15 pm. After diagnosing the issue, he determined the problem needed to be handled by Dominion Power. Knowing without power my food would go bad and with no HVAC we'd be very uncomfortable, he contacted Dominion and waited for them to physically respond. Also knowing the HVAC units would try to run and cause irreparable damage to the units, he disconnected them until Dominion could handle the issue saving me a considerable expense. I appreciate the professionalism Zack exhibited in helping me resolve my electrical problem.
Received an estimate and the job started within days! Not weeks or months like other contractors were scheduling. Guys showed up early and we’re ready to work. Job site was kept clean and they finished in one day. They were very personable and approachable and answered all of our questions quickly. Quality is excellent and they obviously take pride in their work.

Technicians installed a whole house generator. The company took a while to obtain the generator from the manufacturer due to manufacturing delays, presumably from COVID issues. However, I was kept apprised of the progress and when the install was scheduled.Technicians took approximately 4hrs to complete the install, test the unit in all modes and certify the install.They were able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction and cleaned the work site upon completion.They were profession and courteous - happy to use their services again if necessary in the future.

I want to say thank you and I appreciate Get Lit so very much. I feel like their pricing was reasonable, the free consultation was awesome and the quality of service was worth it especially with Cody. The thing that helped me out as well is that you may qualify for a payment plan which definitely helps when you’re spending over $1,000+ on service potentially, depending on what you’re getting done. Cody was my primary electrician and he did a wonderful job. I just got my electric vehicle and needed a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in the front of my house, outside. Cody and Chase did such a terrific job of creating a path to install the outlet in the front of my house from the panel in the back of my house without damaging any walls, ceilings, or anything in my household. They did a terrific job and made sure everything was installed to perfection and put back with the preciseness that they were installed with. The Manager also came to the crib and helped out and I don’t know his name but the Manager was in a pink shirt and if he reads this, I appreciate you too. Cory was also nice enough to make me knowledgeable of what he was doing and why he was doing it without being agitated or aggravated that I was questioning him and trying to pick his brain. I appreciate Cody and Cody is welcome to do any other electrical work in my home. Cody was a terrific person, terrific electrician, and a terrific human. We had a great conversation and I can’t wait for this electrical install journey.

Clint troubleshooted an attic fan issues I had which ended up being two seized motors. He provided a reasonably priced estimate on replacement fan motors and an estimate on an additional project, I requested, for overhead lighting in two rooms that didn't have preexisting overhead lights. Clint showed up on time and knocked both jobs out in no time. I'm very satisfied with the work and the reasonable price!

Danny come out on a Wednesday and was able to get a pretty big job on the schedule and completed within 5 days. He was also willing to start the job on a Sunday, so he could get it scheduled before going on a vacation. He was prompt and communicated very well. We will definitely use him for future jobs.

I wanted an outdoor outlet installed near my greenhouse so I could run fans in the summer and a heater in the winter.The receptionist was very friendly. She scheduled my original appointment a week out and ended up calling me the next day to see if I wanted him to come that same day since they had a cancellation.Louis showed up within an hour and he was done with my outdoor outlet in less than an hour. He wore he booties while in the house and used a dust pan to clean up any debris.After the install he showed me how everything worked. It’s a GFCI outlet with a cover on its own circuit.The price was within my desired range. I’m VERY happy and will 100% use them again!

Zack came out to our house today and took care of about a half a dozen problems we had. He was very knowledgable and pleasant to work with. Everything was fixed.
Jason is outstanding. Not only was he quick to respond, he even came out in the beginnings of a tropical storm. He was very fast and very efficient. We were curious about a certain smell after the installation and he even swung back by at the end of the day to make sure everything was good to go. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to with this company.I had a serious situation on a Friday with my circuit breaker box making a crackling sound. I shut off the power and called Lit Electrical, after reading their reviews online.Within an hour or less, Louis called me. He worked with me every step of the way, and came out immediately to assess the situation. He replaced my circuit panel and took his time to make sure it was not only functional, but aesthetic as well (as some cutting of the wall was required).I am truly grateful to him. I used GLE three days ago for one of my store locations that had a light fixture signage that hed went out. They did such an awesome job I use them again for another location that power completely shut down my store for 2 days. My panel went out and had to be replaced. They stayed in Communications over the two days then they did the install. My technician was Thomas. He's fast, efficient, so kind towards the customer. You can tell he takes pride in his work! If he wasn't an electrician, I definitely would make him part of my management team! I will continue to use ONLY Get Lit Electrical if a problem ever occurs! Thank you so much THOMAS!!!
We had 3 different companies come out and give us an estimate on how much it would cost to get some designated outlets run into our garage (at the front of our townhome) from our panel (at the back of our townhome). One company was going to cut the drywall, and make a huge mess, plus we would then have to hire someone to patch all the drywall. Another company was going to dig a trench and run everything outside, and it was going to be pricey. Zack, from Get Lit came out and said he could just run everything through the attics (the main attic and the one over the garage). And it would be about half the price of the second estimate.Zack and Joe came out (when they said they'd be here) and got straight to work. They ran 2 outlets into our garage and one outside; Installed a light fixture in our master bath; switched out our kitchen switch for a new one that is a 3-way that requires no wiring (yeah, I've never heard of such a thing and I'm so in awe of how awesome it is). They did everything in just under than 6 hours. Cleaned up everything and set up the day for the inspection.I will totally recommend Get Lit Electrical to anyone I know (heck, I'll recommend them to strangers) who need electrical work done!
