Imagine looking under your house and instead of a dry crawl space you have a small lake, WHAT DO YOU DO, well we called our warranty company and they assigned IRV. We are so glad they did. This company came out did an assessment, and repaired our problem without any incidence. (they even communicated with our warranty company which worked in our favor) Very professional kept us informed during the repair, I highly recommend them and have no issue with using them again. Over the Fourth of July holiday, my in-laws' basement flooded due to a broken pipe. We called Charlotte Plumber & Drain Cleaning to see if they could fix it for us because we had to get it fixed. We anticipated some delay given that it was the final day of a three-day holiday weekend. Tony, the emergency plumber, called us back in less than 10 minutes to set up a time to come take a look. Tony showed up sooner than expected, evaluated the situation, and provided recommendations. Due to the urgency of the issue, we opted for the quickest and cheapest option. We were relieved that we contacted Charlotte Plumber & Drain Cleaning since, within two hours, Tony had addressed the issue and given us advice on how to prevent similar ones in the future. To anyone in need of a plumber, we heartily endorse Charlotte Plumber & Drain Cleaning. Once again, we appreciate Tony's prompt and expert reaction to and resolution of our issue.

After freezing temperatures overnight, our outdoor faucet froze and the pipe burst. We had water in our kitchen and mudroom. We called Morris Jenkins and the dispatch woman was very apologetic about our situation and scheduled us within 4 hours. We highly recommend the priority advantage plan they sell because we have used it numerous times. The priority advantage plan has saved us money on parts and we receive urgent services. Thomas arrived to our house in a timely manner, diagnosed the issue, and provided us with multiple options for repairs. We selected our repair option and he was able to fix it within 1 hr. Thomas was very professional, polite and efficient! We highly recommend Morris Jenkins.

I cannot say enough about the EXCELLENT service we received from Roby on our HVAC system. This was easily the most positive experience I think we could’ve had under the circumstances. It may seem easy and convenient to call one of the big, mainstream, open until midnight HVAC companies, but don't! They are at the high end of the cost spectrum and trained to scare you into thinking you need to do more work on your systems than you actually do. Instead, do yourself a favor and call Roby - you won’t regret it!

Overall, Jeremy and Anthony from Roby did a great job explaining what was going on with our system, what actually needed to be repaired (and what didn’t) and all of the factors impacting the cost of the repair. After calling one of the mainstream repair shops and being quoted what seemed an excessive amount for the repair we needed (fan motor replacement) and pushed to replace a very expensive part that wasn’t even broken, we passed on the repair and called Roby upon recommendation from a close friend. They treated us with respect, provided lots of information and education, and performed the repair for $235 less (more than 25% less) than what we were quoted by the bigger, well known shop. They even went above and beyond by calling the AC manufacturer to see if the part we needed was under parts warranty - something separate from a home warranty that we had never heard of and was never mentioned as an option by the first repair shop! While this part was not under warranty, Roby found out that other, more expensive parts on our unit ARE still under warranty, which we would’ve never known had we not called Roby! They did this despite knowing a part warranty would’ve decreased their take home pay on the repair!

Ultimately, I would recommend Roby Services to any friend or family member in need of HVAC or plumbing services. They are standup, trustworthy folks who approach your repairs the same they would their own family members - you won’t be viewed only as a paycheck!

Me and my property manager called separately to ask them to come out to our property to diagnose a compressor issue with one of our heat pumps. We were both quoted different prices over the phone - $95 and $130. Then two months after they came out they sent us a bill for $196. We called multiple times to multiple people. I left voicemails, sent emails to their service manager - Bobby, but was unable to get anyone on the phone to help or even discuss the issue. Poor customer service and much more expensive than others.

Our home warranty company set up the appointment for us because of a leak in a clean out pipe. The cap for the pipe was on an interior wall of our garage. The technician arrived on time and was polite. He called me at work to say he needed to cut a significant hole in the wall but first he needed to go get a part for the repair. I said that's fine, just do the work. As the technician was leaving he told my son he needed to get the warranty company to approve the work.

A day later I called the office to find out why the technician never returned to our house. They told me the claim was denied and their rep said he told me that. It was the first time I'd heard the claim was denied. So I asked the customer service rep to schedule the work anyway. She claimed she couldn't get back with us for several days.

Long story short, they wanted nearly $900 to tear out a wall and replace the pipes. (By the way, they wouldn't be replacing the portion of wall they removed.) I called All American Plumbing and got the problem fixed the next day for less than $200 and ZERO damage to my wall.

Clearly this company lives off getting home warranty claims denied, then charging home owners enormously inflated prices.

Avoid at all costs.
