This has been one of the amazing experiences we've had with a plumbing company. Here it is the day before Thanksgiving and we are having water heater concerns. Our old company pretty much just said you have to wait for the part. Pathmaker Plumbing was recommended to us by a family member and we didn't know what to expect. I used this company for an electical issue. Needed to swap out 2 breakers and 1 receptacle. They charged me $650 for a diagnostic fee that took 20 minutes. I asked what’s the hourly rate and was told there is none it’s by the job. They definitely overcharged me ($1100 total) but they appeared to fix the problem. I wanted my tenants happy so I paid. But I cannot recommend them based on their outrageous pricing. I’ve been managing rentals for 16 years and this was the most aggressive pricing I’ve seen in that time. This job should have cost $600-$750. I also realized they (parent company) are not based in Huntersville but Washington DC. So your not hiring a local electrician, that probably explains the DC pricing in NC. I’ll be looking for any other Electrician for my future needs.Update ***** I was contacted by a manager a few days after the job and was able to professionally resolve my concerns and the price was adjusted based on the time the inspection took. It was a little bit of a hassle to go through this all but they did the right thing in my opinion.

I would install my own air conditioning/furnace over hiring this company. First off, you’re given your quote which is supposed to include tax, but at the end of your excruciating experience you find out that you have to pay $400 of tax. Second off, this company was hired to replace working units and they said this was a one day job upon scheduling appointment. They removed my working air conditioning unit, and put a brand new one in a box in the yard and decided to call it a day. They left and never communicated with us as to why our job was not complete. So my dogs, and family got to go without air conditioning during the summer in charlotte. When calling to inquire why my “one day” job wasn’t complete in one day, we were told oh now it’s a two day job. On the second day of this job, they then left a large hole in my ceiling from someone whose foot fell through the ceiling while installing the furnace. They then left after putting a piece of a cardboard box over the hole in my ceiling, and left the air conditioning off with my dogs in the house all day again. After all of these issues, (not to mention the rude women that work in their office you get to speak to every time there’s an issue) you would expect some type of discount. But nope, not from this company. Seriously, i couldn’t imagine having a worse experience. This company needs a MAJOR lesson on CUSTOMER SERVICE. (As seen in most other reviews, do not hire them) EVER.

I called clog busters on Friday evening at 6pm. They were at my door at 9am on Saturday and finished the job by 11:30. Both men were incredibly kind and professional. My water heater was in a small, cramped crawl space that was very damp. They went above and beyond to ensure the heater above water level and dry. They also managed to do all of this for $800 less than roto rooter had quoted me the day before. When I have plumbing issues I'm calling these guys and I'd advise you to do the same.

I defiantly recommend using Pay Less Plumbing for all your plumbing needs, our plumber TJ did a great job and not to mention provided excellent customer service. Our property had a MAJOR water line break inside one of our resident home…water was poring out of the slab, we had water everywhere and going into the next apartment. Pay Less Plumbing was able to come out right away and take care of all the repairs and restore water to the community right away. I will defiantly call Pay Less Plumbing for all our plumbing needs in the future. TJ was very knowledgeable, patient and incredibly helpful every step of the way. After winter storm 2021 caused busted pipes in our home, Daniel and John came quickly and meticulously tested and found 6 busted pipes and repaired them. They were here for a while and continued to be courteous, professional, and fair. We will always use Burls for our plumbing needs and highly recommend them.
