I was struggling draining my water heater and flushing it. It was taking more than a couple hours. I called Alex, and over the phone he gave me the best gift, fully worth a paid visit, but no charge. He walked me through being able to flush the tank in 15-20 minutes! And additional after care of my faucets. Later I had a problem shutting off the drainage valve, and he came out and removed an obstruction. He is passionate about what he does, and knows the history of all things plumbing. He freely gives away the tips and tricks he’s learned over years of experience and hundreds of installations. He explains everything so a lay person can understand. And he lets you know all costs upfront. He is very responsive, stays in communication, and keeps you in the time loop, and shows up as scheduled. If there ever was a “THE ONE” plumber, it is Alex! Braden and Jack showed up with in the promised window and took apart the hot water valve on our 1936 tub. Braden did not suggest rebuilding nor replacing it (though he warned me it might be necessary if the part inside the valve that was broken could not be removed). They went and found the replacement part and it was done for a reasonable price and quickly. I will definitely recommend them to friends and call them if we need any work done in the future.

My experience started with Mila Kirwin, who was very empathetic to the fact that I had been without hot water for some time and was getting me to the top of the appointment schedule. Then, I met with Gerald Peralta who came to troubleshoot my hot water heater’s issue. He called the manufacturer and due to his diligence, he found out that the unit was covered by warranty. He followed up with the manufacturer and got a newer replacement unit for my family. He called me to let me know that I would be receiving a new unit and the only thing I would have to pay for was the installation (not covered by warranty). He also scheduled me for an early appointment the next day to have it installed. The technicians that installed my unit were Gustavo Diaz and his apprentice Ken (didn’t get his last name) were equally professional and cared about my customer experience. I truly appreciated the text notification when the technician was enroute to my house. MGP Mechanical has earned my deepest appreciation and any and all referrals I can send their way.
