Joe was an excellent technician he explained what he was doing and why and discussed while the system was old it was still functional as he could not recommend any major repairs. We appreciate his honesty he is a very good representative of his company

Wow. These guys were amazing. We had a very difficult heating and AC system that utilized hot water from the water heater to heat the home. Unfortunately that system was no longer serviceable and too costly to keep repairing. So we decided to put in a new furnace, AC and tankless water heater. What an amazing install and everything is so efficient. Thanks all for the amazing job you guys did!

I contacted customer service, and they stated that a technician would contact me shortly. After a week, I had to contact them again because I never received the phone call. They told me the same thing, but I still never received a call. Had to call back a 3rd time, and they finally returned my call. I talked to the tech on a Friday and was advised he would submit my application for financing and schedule me for a walk though at my house. On Monday morning they showed up to my house but unfortunately I was not home because I didn't know they were coming. I was able to reschedule with customer service for Tuesday at 4:30pm. On Tuesday at 4:30 pm, no one showed up to my house. I didn't receive any calls or emails advising me that they were not coming. I was able to call them the next day, and they stated again that the technician would call me back, and they did not know why they didn't show up. And yet again, I didn't receive a phone call. I continued to call without getting a response back until finally, on Friday, a supervisor called me. I explained all the difficulty I've been experiencing with the company, and you can tell he could care less. I was then told that the reason nobody came to do a walk through was because my financing was declined... but instead of telling me right away so I could find an alternative, they waited a week. He then told me they submitted a counter offer for the finance company but never mentioned what the counter offer was. He then told me he would personally call me back with the outcome, but, yet again, no call what's so ever.We decided to go with a different company. We had no problem finding financing on our own. (With a much lower interest rate) and had the job done within a week. We wanted to go with wagner for their good reviews, but it definitely was not worth the hassle. The customer service people who answer the phones are great, but good luck ever speaking with a technician. I definitely do not recommend anyone use this company. Better off utilizing a smaller company that appreciates your business.

Extremely unprofessional! My air conditioning went out and I called them twice. They took my information and then said they'd call me. After 24 hours from the second call, I tried calling again and they hung up on me!

One of the best experiences I've had. Rick was prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and just an all- around great guy! He knew exactly what the problem was, fixed it right away, and charged me a very fair price. Wish I could give more stars!

My AC went out and I had called a few companies and decided to call American AC and Heating because of the great reviews. I spoke to some one and I was lucky to get service out literally an hour later. Two techs came to the house and they fixed it in less then an hour and were very through and went above and beyond to help me. Cody was very professional and helped me getting my AC running same day. I will definitely use them again and will refer others to them.

Mike and his team were excellent! Very professional, thorough and went out of their way to explain everything, and they checked and measured twice before the work began: they moved my 2 new heating/refrigerator cooling systems that were installed a few years back by Thompson Heating and A/C. I specified clearly to have the new units moved in next to the house - which was never done, they were left sticking way out from the house as the original units were huge and more than 2x bigger than the new ones. Mike and his team moved the units close to the house and in the process redid the connecting duct work. Mike thoroughly tested both systems: heat and A/C when the work finished. We had a cold night last night and I had to use the heat on both systems. I immediately noticed that both units did not run as long and more airflow was coming out of the vents. Mike corrected a very sloppy install that was leaking air from the unit bottom frame - which was taped up to prevent air leakage. When Mike finished he found that the unit was not squarely on its base and therefore pushing air into the base frame - which was taped to prevent air leakage. Mike and his team did a fabulous job correcting a very sloppy install by Thompson Heating and A/C. I highly recommend Marathon Mechanical Service! I will always use Mike and his team for all future HVAC work. Thank you Mike and your entire team!

My 85 year old mother-in-law who is a widow has a roof top unit (RTU) with refrigerated cooling and gas heating. It was blowing cold air this winter and I was out of town and she needed to get it repaired. She contacted Sunshine and they came out and got the unit heating again for $240. They recommended that she replace the unit and gave her two quotes with the lowest being $11,300. About 5 days later the heating quit working again and Sunshine was contacted to come back under warranty. They said the tech had cleaned the flame sensor and there was nothing more they could do since they said the unit needed entire RTRU needed replacing. If they did come back out there would be another charge ($240). After getting back in town I did some research and saw that a new flame sensor is $20 and an easy DIY replacement. The tech should have replaced and not just “clean” the flame sensor. We got a second quote from Thompson HVAC for 35% less to replace the RTU! I would not recommend Sunshine for service or new work.

Would not recommend. Not professional answering the phone. If you just have people waiting on hold you shouldn't have a business. Couldn't even answer my question.
