Best Furnace Replacement in Boston MA

While working in the Brighton area CTW was my companies go to. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Always recommended them

I just had them come out and discuss our options today. They were masked with booties over their shoes, so I felt that they were taking my health and their own seriously. We are making plans for them to do a toilet replacement in my home.

(8/19/2020) Follow up: The techs came out today, removed our old leaking toilet, put in a new toilet, installed our new bidet seat, cleaned up, explained the work, and got out in less than two hours. They were great! Quick, efficient, great work, and just very nice guys. We will definitely call on them for any other plumbing needs.

(8/9/2022) Had to call on the guys again as our garbage disposal stopped working. They came out to take a look, and let me know that I needed a new one as the old one had a small leak, and was badly rusted. They installed a new one same day, and took a look at a valve problem with our toilet as well. They were so helpful and nice, did a great job, and cleaned up the job site afterwards. It’s wonderful to have plumbers you can trust to do the job well. I will definitely call on them again when needed.

Came the same day I called to help with my heater issues. They were professional and knowledgeable in letting me know the issues and how to fix them. I felt like I wasn’t being upsold in any way and that I was getting honest advice. Highly recommend.

I needed an emergency plumber and Frank made an effort to come out last notice on the weekend. Supply house was closed for the parts he needed. Made plans to come back Monday. Frank showed up and finished the job. Honest and straight forward. I would use Frank again and refer him to friends and family.

Rich did a great job helping me out with my broken water heater. He, out of many companies I called, was the fastest, cheapest, and ended up the highest job quality. He’s very friendly and supportive. Highly recommended service!!

Rich is a lifesaver! I called early on a Sunday morning with a leaking water heater. He came by within an hour to check that we’d contained the leak temporarily, and came back to fully replace the tank early the next day. He performed quality work and was very kind and easygoing. They were quickly available & scheduled the job for the next morning. Nice folks. It was a difficult copper solder-joint leak in a nearly inaccessible space, but they were able to solder in new copper joint w/o burning the surrounding wood, then heat-cycled the boiler to make sure the leak was truly fixed. They worked quickly, but did not try to cut any corners - they did the correct fix vs. the quick fix.

I’ve been a customer with Boston Standard for the past three years but cancelled my membership today. Over the past two weeks I’ve experienced very poor service including inexperienced plumbers and bad workmanship. The company did send a more experienced plumber to fix the issue but only after I complained. Additionally, the price gouging is completely out of control. I needed a new hot water heater and received a quote for over $9k (including shutoff system). A different plumber is at my house doing the same work today for $2500. If you hire Boston Standard to do work, be prepared to be taken advantage of. I will not be back.
