Dishonest and worst ever. Sink leak after the repair. Technician did not disclose cost and asking a $20 basket strainer for $300 as part cost. Threatening to charge labor if he put the old parts back. I have to settle for $50. Call the office file a complaint, but no respond. Don't do business with this company!!!

Rich is a consummate professional. He completed an oil-to-gas conversion for us when our oil boiler failed. He thoroughly explained the process to us and was present throughout the process when other contractors needed to be involved. Rich was communicative throughout the process and considerate of our needs. He ensured that we were not without hot water throughout the furnace transition process and worked around our family schedules. Ernie at Metro Boston Plumbing did great work for us. He tore out our old bathtub, tile, and piping, and installed a new, jetted tub and surround, piping and fixtures, as well as some sheetrock surround. It required multiple visits, which he cheerfully did. He fixed other plumbing as well! Ernie is reliable, timely, and kept the area clean and did great work! He really went above and beyond for us. Amazing work by E Francis Plumbing & Heating! Not only was the quality of work and professionalism top notch, but they went above and beyond to ensure that my concerns were addressed. As a new homeowner, I had a list of repairs that needed to be addressed. Mike ensured that the gas pipe connected to my stove was completely secure by attaching a new piece of wood behind my drywall. Then, after hearing about my concern about mice coming through the remaining gap, he offered to fill the space with pest foam sealant. Definitely not part of his job requirements, but like I said above and beyond! Would highly recommend and will have them back for future jobs. Thanks, Mike!

I found Rich on Angie's List and gave him a call because the reviews he had were so good. I left him a message and he called me right back and we made an appointment for later that evening. Rich was there on time and was extremely nice and informative on my extremely old boiler system, water heater and the oil to gas conversion that was going to take place. Rich then sent me a quote in the mail which wasn't the cheapest but far from the most expensive that I had received and we decided that he was the best guy for the job. Prior to starting the job my husband and I noticed that one of our radiators started leaking and another was extremely loud. Therefore, I called Rich and he came out within a half hour and remedied the problem. When he came to start the job he was always dependable and willing to answer any questions. Rich was so personable that my husband and I looked forward to getting home and having small talk with him. One Saturday he came to do some work and brought my husband and I some AMAZING scones that he gets from one of his other clients and let me just say, they were to DIE for. How many people can say that they got breakfast from their plumber and above that enjoyed having them around?! As far as Rich's work is concerned, the boiler and water heater came out beautifully, when you have steam heat it truly is an art form and Rich is quite the artist. Our basement was literally cleaner when he left then it was when he came in. Needless to say, Rich will be the guy I call with all my plumbing issues.
