Best Furnace Maintenance in Boston MA

Caleb Whelden and company from CTW plumbing were employed to service and maintain the heating and air conditioning units at a residence of mine for over a years' time. They consistently had difficulty arranging to complete jobs in a reasonable time frame, and often made mistakes, some relatively minor and merely forgetful (such as forgetting to replace caps on refrigerant lines), other mistakes much for irresponsible and dangerous. Caleb Whelden easily became defensive. He was not conscientious about taking responsibility for the problems and inconveniences caused by his actions. An incredible amount of time and money could have been saved if another maintenance team was hired earlier on.

I called mcmahon plumbing thursday morn at 9:30 to get a price to have our Burnham gas boiler to be cleaned. I spoke with Mike, He told me that
there is a $99.00 service fee and $149.00 for the cleaning. I told him i would call him back as i was going to get another price. I called back at 11:30. Set up a time for friday at 12:00 noon. I also confirmed the price $250
he had given to me on thursday morning. Once confirmed. I said fine, we will see you at 12:00. Well... 12:00 friday, came and went. I called at 1:30
to see if there was any problem. They said no, he should be there at 3:00
Well 3:00 came and went. They finally showed up at 5:00. Upon taking apart our boiler, the plumber told me that the price of the job was $391.00
not the $250.00 which was ORIGINALLY TOLD told to me, not once but twice by mike the GM I told him that
was not the price that was given too me. If i had know it was going to be $391.00. I never would have had them do the work. They removed three or four items from the boiler room, upon getting ready to leave, not only
did they not put the items back. They left all of the CARBON on the floor. They didn't sweep it up or vaccum it up, they left it there. My wife and i had to clean up all the CARBON . The CARBON was tracked
thruout our basement floor. DO NOT HIRE OR LET THESE PEOPLE ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME.... TOTALLY.. UNTRUSTWORTHY

781 helped me some time ago with refilling the Freon in my ac unit and recently helped me troubleshoot a power issue with my thermostat over the phone.

Both times I’ve been left with no further issues or questions - will be working with them in the future for sure.

What a great company! Frank Berardino was on time and took the time to explain my entire heating system and ensured me that it was running efficiently. He is extremely knowledgeable and has become my new heating professional! Highly recommend his services.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Advantage III. I called on a Monday morning, they picked up right away and were very friendly. I was able to get an appointment the next day to look at a water leak I was having in the basement. The plumbers came and identified and fixed the issue within an hour and a half and they were very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable. Would recommend!

What a wonderful day I had meeting Mike K. from Pann Home Services. My request was to have a carpenter arrive this morning and was scheduled for 9:00AM. I was contacted by Mike at 8:30AM stating he was on his way. Mike arrived on time, greeted me with a warm smile and a hand shake thanking me for scheduling a service call. Once Mike entered my condo he put on his booties and listened to my issues. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions on how to approach each issue. I truly enjoyed meeting Mike K., you can tell he really enjoys his profession; he speaks very highly about the Pann Company, and meeting him today, has convinced me that I found the perfect full service company to meet all my needs.

Mike K., did a wonderful job coordinating a BIG project today requiring removal of kitchen appliances and re-install new appliances. He also coordinated a plumber to install the dishwasher at the same time, as well as doing carpentry work. This project took the entire day with a crew of four from PANN. All employees were very helpful, pleasant and very professional.

This project was very difficult because I had prior work done that entailed new kitchen counter tops and flooring from Home Depot. The job was so poorly done by Home Depot, that PANN had to take extra time to resolve all issues and obstacles they encountered with reinstalling new appliances.

Mike K, went above and beyond to make sure things were running smoothly, and at the end of the day, everything was perfect, a job well planned and executed, outstanding clean-up and I was able to close the door behind me with a feeling of accomplishment. And I owe it all to Mike K., for making it happen. This man is more then just an employee; he knows the value behind Customer Service.

Matthew was very knowledgeable, and explained the options we had for our older somewhat broken AC unit. We appreciated the time he took to answer our questions.

I would highly recommend Chillie Willie for heat pump installation! They installed a five zone split for our house, were very professional and responsive throughout the quote process, worked with us to ensure the best placement of the units themselves, and did a great/professional job installing the system. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

This is by far the sleaziest operation in town. Came over to snake the drain, blew a hole in our pipes and then charged me 1200$ To fix his mistake as water poured through the floors into the basement. Put me in a situation where I had no choice but to agree to this price. What a JOKE! Avoid them at all costs, many many other options out there.

AlphaOmega Plumbing did a great job. They had a very nice and friendly staff that fixed our furnace and our AC unit for us! They worked fast and gave a good deal. Definitely better than my past experiences. Now I have someone I can trust!

The team was thorough and professional. I hired them to repair and replace the waste/sewer lines in my condo. They did a fast, thorough, and efficient job and cleaned the place up when they finished. They were also incredibly responsive and punctual. I'd highly recommend them.

Rich was terrific and the new hot water heater install was seamless! Professional, responsive and thorough!

They were quickly available & scheduled the job for the next morning. Nice folks. It was a difficult copper solder-joint leak in a nearly inaccessible space, but they were able to solder in new copper joint w/o burning the surrounding wood, then heat-cycled the boiler to make sure the leak was truly fixed. They worked quickly, but did not try to cut any corners - they did the correct fix vs. the quick fix.

Michel from this company came to my house and converted oil to a gas system. He did a very good job Michel is very honest and his prices are fair I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends he is very hard working if can give him 7 stars I would and I am very satisfied with his work and he is very fast.

We had a collection of smaller plumbing issues that all needed to be resolved: the repair and/or replacement of a faulty toilet valve, a new water line installed for a refrigerator upgrade, and the repair of a leaking pipe. Even with Covid, Jim was able to work with us to determine the best path forward (we ended up deciding to replace the entire toilet), and perform the other repairs for a reasonable cost and timeline.

I know that we'll be back if we have any more issues in the future.
