I just had a gas dryer delivered, but the delivery folks were not licensed to do the gas hookup.

I called Gomes Plumbing Heating and Cooling, and 20 minutes later, Frank was parked in front of my house! It only took another 15 for him to finish the gas hookup. Very happy with the speed and quality of service — thanks, Frank!

I think Mike and Scott did a great job. My kitchen sink was clogged very badly but they were able to trace the drain to the main line and clear it out. I'm glad he was able to solve it. They also replaced my water valves in the bathroom and fixed my loose toilet.

The only issue that prevented me giving 5 stars was that at the end the bill was not itemized.
Didn't know how the final total was calculated so it did not allow me to check for any mistakes at the time of payment.

We hired Winters to replace our kitchen faucet. They actually came earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation, and they were great about promptly communicating with me to offer the earlier availability. Communication throughout was solid, and the technician who came to our home, Jesse, was extremely friendly and explained his work so I was aware of what was going on. They even sent me a text alerting me about who would be handling the service call. They were completely on top of COVID-19 safety protocols as well. I will definitely use them again!

Used Chillie Willie in Saugus for a heating system and water heater install. Was attentive to our needs, worked with us, took pride in their work, Will use again for future needs.

Called in to SILA since my hot water was running at really low pressure and taking forever to heat up. Just bought the place, and I expected the Tankless System needed to be vinegar flushed and have the filters cleaned out, and SILA had installed it three years previous. The technician was sent out, and found that the mixing valve filters were clogged. I washed and scrubbed them, and my pressure was back to normal. Roy said he'd want to replace the whole mixing valve for $483.00, and the vinegar flush was $467.50. Roy also spotted a corroded pipe on the baseboard heating side that needed to be replaced and quoted $735.00. All the quotes seemed like a lot (especially to replace a leaking foot long copper pipe), so I told him I'd have to think about and get some other quotes. But he said SILA would make him charge about $400 just for the visit and inspection. I was told $98 over the phone, so that was an unwelcome surprise. In the end I had Roy replace the mixing valve and vinegar flush the system. He was great guy, very knowledgeable, and professional. If it was just him I was reviewing it would be a 5 star review. SILA seems great for when it's an emergency and you need to get it sorted right away. Otherwise, it may be best to shop around.

We've had Sam at the house a few times now for various projects and have nothing but praise for his work. He shows up at the time agreed upon and doesn't quit until the job is done. He keeps you advised as to what's going on with what he doing......... and he notices things that can be improved and brings them to your attention. The best part is he's a very personable, likable guy. No complaints here!

Given your previous reviews, please take the time to consider your answers. They definitely come off the wrong way and aren't inviting or welcoming. I understand it can be frustrating to get forwarded a job request on a quote but customers are still interested on any estimate they get. I thought it was me reading the tone a certain way by your response, but after seeing your reviews there is a pattern. Why start with 'We don't do cheap projects' ... and then suggesting what I can look up online' understand that perhaps that is exactly what the customer is doing ( due diligence) and doesn't need suggestions on how they sort through estimates. All you have to do is provide the quote, and feel confident on what your company provides. Please take the time to consider approaching yelp inquiries differently.
