Mr. Jenkins is the best plumber for the best price in DC. I had three quotes come in for the work I needed done on my basement and they were all at least 3- 10 times more than Mr. Jenkins’ quote. He was timely, communicative, and professional. Stops searching now - you found your plumber!

I waited 3 hours and never got a call back. Very frustrating when you're exhausted, have a very sick kid and need a functioning toilet! Called them three times. Now it's 11:00pm and have to find another plumber.

Their pricing is consistently fair, the stand behind their work. They are capable of large jobs like riser replacements and small like a toilet running and they have the same professional and quality work with both.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company! Save yourself the headache.

Contracted Mr. Super Plumber (Maurice Walton), on Thursday, December 10 to do a very simple install and exchanging out of pipes and rough-in in the basement before concrete was poured. I hesitantly gave him a 40% upfront and he also asked for another 10% when the job began. Regrettably, I did this and this is where the nightmare began. I know the job was simple because we hired a plumber afterwards who did the job in a half of day with a complete crew. Hindsight is always 20/20!

He showed up the following Tuesday with one worker that did not speak english (called him his helper) and was completely unprepared to do what we had contracted him to do. He spent most of that first day talking and making excuses about why he could only work 4 hours the first day instead of 8. He said that he was tired from having to respond to an emergency at a woman's house the day before. He asked me if it was ok for him to leave early after the first day because he was tired and that he was ahead of schedule. The work that he did on the 1st day could have been done in one hour with a skilled crew.

Day 2 and 3 were much of the same, he showed up late, left early, left the jobsite on multiple occasions for product runs, and had tons of excuses why a one day job had turned into 5. Maurice also communicated to me that my presence on the job site (the house that I own) made him nervous and asked me to trust him and that good work takes time. This was just another ploy and pressure tactic for him to avoid doing what he said that he would do. Aside from all of these other issues, Mr. Super Plumber was just unprofessional. There was zero urgency to do what he communicated at the time that he said we was going to do it. These were signs that I missed.

The entire time that he was on site he kept reminding me of how much money I was saving by using him and how he wasn't charing me more for things that he began to see that he did not anticipate. I regret that I did not follow my first instinct when I met him and went elsewhere.

To date he has received $3700 dollars from me and on the following Monday when he promised he was going to get the job done has disappeared and is not answering my phone calls or that of our general contractor. He told me that $2700 were for materials and all he bought was $100 worth of PVC pipe at best which are still left on site. I intend to file a police report as well because of this money that was stolen from me. To date he has not returned the deposit that we gave him and stated on the phone in our last conversation that he does not intend to.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company or guy. I can not say this strongly enough!

I can't say enough good things about this plumber in my neighborhood. They are the best in town when it comes to cleaning drains.

We had an appointment scheduled for December 21st. The technician arrived 2 hours after the window without a phone call. He was here to check and hopefully repair a leak coming from the bathtub handle. He cut the handle off and said he would go and get a replacement piece. When he returned, he stated he couldn't fix it and he would have to order a piece. When asked if he would replace the handle he removed, he said we could use pliers to turn the water in the bathtub on. That was the last time we heard from him. It has been two weeks and he has not reached out with an update nor has he returned a call or email.

My new faucet worked really well. They check if the hot/ cold water was running and for leakage etc before leaving. Great and excellent customer service and I will use again in the future.

After struggling for months with hot water and heating problems which other technicians told me they didn't know how to fix or couldn't be fixed, Frederick solved both problems in no time at all.
