I had a gas leak on my house line detected on Sunday afternoon and the gas control (matrix system) needed to be replaced. Gas was shut down, so no heat, no water.
I called Affordable Plumbing & Gas LLC late on Sunday. Montiel called me back quickly understood the issue and scheduled a technician for Monday morning between 8-10 am.
At 8:10 I got a message that the technician was on his way. He did a great job, checked everything, especially that there was no more gas leak. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions/concerns.
The price was exactly what I was told.
Very satisfied.

Excellent service, quick, appreciate that they didn't charge fees for coming to diagnose. I had dripping showers and a bath tub faucet, and they ordered parts fast, came on time, and the handles in the shower turn better than ever before now. Highly recommend.

One of the valves on her toilet started leaking everywhere and she couldn’t get it shut off. Brian came out right away and replaced it; preventing any water damage to her home. Quick turnaround from when i called this business , and when Brian and his helper arrived they were very polite and professional. Not only did they provide my service but they also educated me and my family on the service and how to prolong the efficiency and life on my plumbing. I had a shower handle that was hard to pull out and turn , and incorrectly installed to begin with. He fixed it and it’s been an amazing difference on my mom who has bursitis on her scapula. Also my garbage disposal was not working and his technician was able to fix it quickly as well. I also got a new faucet installed and a water heater. All within a reasonable price. He truly is AFFORDABLE plumbing ! Would definitely recommend to my friends and family any day.

I needed a plumbing company to stop the water hammering problem at my home. I previous had a bad experience not getting this fixed by another company. The operator for Affordable Plumbing took my info and wanted me to send pics what the previous company did. I had a tech Monday morning at a reasonable time, operator gave me a courtesy call to let me know the technician was on his way. The tech who came was Carlos, he explained to me and showed me the cause of the problem, he was very informative. Techincian did some repairs and fixed the problem. Going into two days after, I don't hear any water hammering. I wish I called them sooner, I feel they value their customers. I have recommended a co-worker of mine to call them in case they have plumbing issues.

Daughter recommended this plumbing company from personal experience. Brian came in next day, installed my new toilet, and gave me receipts upon payment. Fast, efficient, and well mannered. Will definitely use them again.

Absolutely amazing customer service! On a rainy Sunday afternoon, our shower decided to start spraying water everywhere. Concerned and having to turn our water off to prevent even more damage, we decided to call Affordable Plumbing and Gas. Our call was answered quickly and Brian was over same-day (within two hours of the first call!) with the needed parts. He even took the time to review the photos we sent and stopped at the store to ensure he had what he needed to fix the problem. Brian was incredibly helpful, responsive, and honest. He took a stressful situation and turned it into a positive one. He truly saved the day and gave us peace of mind. Absolutely give them a call!

We were in the process of moving when we discovered a gas leak by Washington Gas. Lucky for us we picked this company. They were fast and efficient. They explained everything they did and fixed all the pipes. Since Washington Gas is useless to contact, we brought them back for a final check for safety. Great company and great staff. I just moved into my condo a few months ago and needed a new hot water heater. Brian and Carlos were so efficient, neat and kind with replacing my water heater. I called Brian Sunday evening and I had a new hot water heater installed Tuesday morning. When my water temperature wasn’t hot enough for me, Carlos returned and adjusted the temperature. Showers are AMAZING now! Thank you both so much! I WILL be using this company again for all my plumbing needs!

This company was very efficient explaining services however I haven't used them yet. Waiting for home warranty company to clear up issues . This company does great work. Carlos was amazing. Very friendly honest and a fast worker. He came to install a new toilet for me but ended up fixing my bathroom faucet. Then gave me a quote for a new hot water heater which will be installed this week. I’m a busy person and don’t like to wait on others so for them to be prompt and fast and knowledgeable I was impressed. They are my new plumbing and gas company. I will have them on speed dial when needed.

I called Affordable Plumbing yesterday because I needed an emergency water heater installation,my water heater has been leaking.The plumber,Brian,was very nice and polite and came to my house shortly after we spoke.the company came and was very quick,efficient,and was able to answer every question that I had.i recommend anyone in the DMV to call Affordable Plumbing,they are one of the most professional companies around,they will not disappoint.

I had gotten home from work later than usual around 12:00am I go to take a shower when the water was cold! I was furious but finished my shower anyway I go to my basement to see a huge leak and water all over the basement floor I was furious due to it being about 1am by this time and knowing most companies wouldn’t be able to get out until morning the next day I had my in-laws coming to town and knew that not having hot water was a big no go so I called multiple companies and each of them said they wouldn’t be able to get there until late the next day until I found affordable plumbing. Carlos and Brian arrived within 1hour and immediately got to work! By this time it was 2am and they said that my old water heater busted and was over 20years old and the only way to fix it was replacing it I immediately got furious thinking that this would take a long time for them to source the water heater and actually do the job not only the fact that I’m sure the whole interaction would have costed an arm and a leg. Well I live in a single family home and explained to them that I had my in-laws coming to town the next day they were extremely understanding and knew exactly how much of a pain it would be to not have hot water the next day. They checked they’re truck and found a top of the line 80 gallon tank ready to go they gave me a awesome price and got the job done in no time ! At the very end they took some extra time to look around while they were already there and saw the potential for other leaks and actually found a very small leak under my bathroom sink they gave me a deal to take care of that while they were there. By the time they were done with everything the sun had barley started to come out and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended this company to anyone and everyone these guys will be my first call next time I need any plumbing done again! Thank you guys so much ! ❤️

We had a clog in our main line that left us without the use of our toilets or running water. Affordable Plumbing & Gas LLC were very responsive and sent out Brian and Carlos who were amazing to work with. They arrived early, worked quickly, were respectful, and left the work area clean. Carlos and Brian are amazing! They did a great job installing a new faucet and replacing the main water shutoff valve.

I was really glad I called them. Brian was professional and went extra mile to diagnose my garbage disposal, someone else might have said need new disposal but Brian pointed out it was only 4 years old, and actually just had some small pieces of glass in it from when I had accident in the kitchen, he didn't stop until all of them were removed. He only charged me half the usual diagnostic fee, I really appreciated that.

He apprenticed with another large plumbing firm that I've used in the past. I was happy with them but not so much their prices, feel they gouged me last time they came, to be honest.

Even though he didn't replace or install any plumbing items, I feel I'm in capable and HONEST hands, so I'll use them from now on, I already told my brother if he needs plumbing to call them.
