Contracted Mr. Super Plumber (Maurice Walton), on Thursday, December 10 to do a very simple install and exchanging out of pipes and rough-in in the basement before concrete was poured. I hesitantly gave him a 40% upfront and he also asked for another 10% when the job began. Regrettably, I did this and this is where the nightmare began. I know the job was simple because we hired a plumber afterwards who did the job in a half of day with a complete crew. Hindsight is always 20/20!

He showed up the following Tuesday with one worker that did not speak english (called him his helper) and was completely unprepared to do what we had contracted him to do. He spent most of that first day talking and making excuses about why he could only work 4 hours the first day instead of 8. He said that he was tired from having to respond to an emergency at a woman's house the day before. He asked me if it was ok for him to leave early after the first day because he was tired and that he was ahead of schedule. The work that he did on the 1st day could have been done in one hour with a skilled crew.

Day 2 and 3 were much of the same, he showed up late, left early, left the jobsite on multiple occasions for product runs, and had tons of excuses why a one day job had turned into 5. Maurice also communicated to me that my presence on the job site (the house that I own) made him nervous and asked me to trust him and that good work takes time. This was just another ploy and pressure tactic for him to avoid doing what he said that he would do. Aside from all of these other issues, Mr. Super Plumber was just unprofessional. There was zero urgency to do what he communicated at the time that he said we was going to do it. These were signs that I missed.

The entire time that he was on site he kept reminding me of how much money I was saving by using him and how he wasn't charing me more for things that he began to see that he did not anticipate. I regret that I did not follow my first instinct when I met him and went elsewhere.

To date he has received $3700 dollars from me and on the following Monday when he promised he was going to get the job done has disappeared and is not answering my phone calls or that of our general contractor. He told me that $2700 were for materials and all he bought was $100 worth of PVC pipe at best which are still left on site. I intend to file a police report as well because of this money that was stolen from me. To date he has not returned the deposit that we gave him and stated on the phone in our last conversation that he does not intend to.

I would run swiftly in the other direction if you are considering using this company or guy. I can not say this strongly enough!

I had a wonderful experience with mr super plumber . My sewer backed up and flooded my basement and I googled for a plumber and I got mr super plumber Maurice answered the phone at 1:00 am in the morning and was at my door in 35 mins cleaned up everything and snaked out my main sewer got me back up and running. Also showed me how to file a insurance claim to get re-Imbursement back for the sewage mitigation bill i paid . This company came in and truly saved us From a serious mess . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL!

I paid Maurice (aka Mr. Super Plumber) to do a plumbing job for me that took him all day to do. He promised to come back the following weekend because he needed an extra part to secure the pipe to the sink. The following weekend came, he gave me an excuse how he couldn't travel from DC to Baltimore because his mom surprised him and came in town. I was understanding and rescheduled with him the next Saturday. I called him today to confirm tomorrow's appointment and he gave me an excuse how he has no transportation to Baltimore (personal problem, not mine) to finish the job. Meanwhile, he was paid to do a service that he didn't complete. Now, I have to hire another plumber to finish the work. On top of that, (Maurice aka Mr. Super Plumber) spilled purple PVC primer all over my kitchen floor and now I have to pay someone to redo my floors because everyone knows that the plumbing primer stains on contact. He is a scammer and slick talker who doesn't honor commitments Please don't waste your money, energy, or time. Above all, he is full of excuses, is not prompt with returning calls, and will give you the run around. I added the pictures on Yelp to show proof since I was unable to post it to this thread

Called On-Call tech at 6am to take care of emergency plumbing, and the tech immediately responded. The On-Call tech showed up within minutes of my location in Virginia. The Tech was even mindful to take his shoes off before entering the space! The tech took care of the issue by locating the shut off valve, which I would have never found, turned off the water which had been running for hours to avoid any flooding issues. The Tech provided courteous service and was very professional in resolving the issue which included providing any parts to complete the task. I had great experience with using mr super plumber for my plumbing needs. He was very professional, precise and up front with the entire process.

I called Mr Super plumber for a leak in my bath room, he repaired the leak and checked the other bathrooms for me. I knew that there were a few other repairs that needed work and he spotted them and made two of them and set a schedule time to return. That to me is a good plumber, he made sure he left the areas clean.
I will be using him on plumbing issues. Very much a gentleman.

I found me super plumber on line called and made a appt to get a price for my air conditioning system to be replaced. I already had 2 quotes from other contractors I decided to hire Mr super plumber. (1) They gave me a better price. (2) they were on time and extremely classy presentation clean cut and professional. (3) The estimator was very patient with explaining the process and details of the install I could feel the pride with this company caring about there customers and quality of work. The other contractors didn't make me feel like they truly cared about me as a customer, the way mr super plumber did. I would strongly encourage any and all of my friends and family to use this company the install turned out wonderful.

As a private person and a Realtor, I have been very happy with Maurice's (aka Mr. Super Plumber) work. He has rescued me when my AC was out on a hot Friday night when I couldn't find anyone else who would come AND he didn't overcharge me. Maurice is conscientious and honest and is my go-to guy.

I called Mr. Super Plumber from the internet for plumbing repair they were on time and extreme professional. Maurice of Super Plumber was also very helpful in explaining how i could avoid any future problems my taken some preventive maintenance measures that could possibly prevent emergency service in the future. I have had several bad experiences with contractors in the past the was my best positive experience ever. I highly recommend this company.

I have used Super Plumber twice: once to replace an old convection a/c unit and a second time to replace an old, rusted disposal and install new faucets and a new water filter. He was responsive and did a complete job with a discount. He was completely trustworthy. We did the a/c installation which took several days when we were not present.

I would recommend this company for your future plumbing and heating and a/c needs.
