Super nice guy! Had low water pressure at the outside hose spigot. Turns out the valve inside wasn’t open (doh on my end!). Took the time to walk me through some of the pipping routing and details as we just moved in and the house is close to 100 years old. Super helpful and great to converse with. I’m always nervous finding good contractors but happy to find a great local plumber for future needs!

Called On-Call tech at 6am to take care of emergency plumbing, and the tech immediately responded. The On-Call tech showed up within minutes of my location in Virginia. The Tech was even mindful to take his shoes off before entering the space! The tech took care of the issue by locating the shut off valve, which I would have never found, turned off the water which had been running for hours to avoid any flooding issues. The Tech provided courteous service and was very professional in resolving the issue which included providing any parts to complete the task. LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This is the plumber to hire, if you want the job done correctly and for a great price! I called them after I was disappointed by the empty promises that I received from another company. I called and learned that this is a two-man show. I described the problem and felt very comfortable with the on-the-phone diagnosis. My partially clogged basement drain was snaked and opened. The cost was discussed over the phone and there were NO HIDDEN COST. Now, the icing on the cake, the plumber was neat, polite and extremely personable. Hire, them, you will be glad you did!

I had a water heater replacement right before Christmas. I called 3 HVAC companies. Mr. Charles' quote, advice and professionalism won my business. The great job he and his assistant did with the replacement and other follow-up work kept my business. I'll be calling him with any future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Sean was knowledgeable and professional. I am finishing my basement and I needed a professional to run plumbing to our future bathroom appliances. He noticed something a previous plumber missed. My bathroom was below the level of the street drain and the home builders had roughed in space for a pump. Without that, nothing in the bathroom would work! He also showed me how my sprinkler valve had a clear sign on it to replace it every 5 years (it had been 10!) and he taught me how to clean my A/C p-trap. Of course I hired him. The work was done in a day and they left the place cleaner than it started.

Our AC/heating system was 18+ years and begun having issues. Decided to go ahead and replace before the highest summer season. Sila's team have done great job. From Luis who came on the same day we asked to assess and do estimation for a new system through scheduling and completing job. Everything was done well, timely, professionally. Josh and Elvis, installation team, worked all day Friday to remove the old system, install the new system, replaced the box, and fixed other related things. Friendly service, careful with floors, etc. on the property, cleaned, and took time to show the new system. Thank you for the great job!

This is my go-to for plumbing and heating in DC. The workers are very familiar with old houses and related issues. Reasonable prices and fast service!

We called Belle View Plumbing on a Thursday morning about an issue we discovered the day before and he was able to come out that same afternoon for a free consultation. Once he diagnosed the issue, he was able to squeeze us in the next day because we wanted the issue fixed before an upcoming rain storm. He showed up 10 minutes early and got started right away. He was quick and efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We typically try to tackle all house projects ourselves and have done several plumbing jobs on our own but will 100% call Belle View again if we have a job that is outside of our comfort zone. Highly recommend.

Do not use MH Barnes for Heat Pump Hot Water Heaters. We had them install an AO Smith water heater 22 months ago. They had promised a unit with a 10 year warranty and delivered a unit with a six year warrantly.

After six months the heat pump portion of it failed. They could not diagnose it. They sent out a junior person when it failed who knew nothing about heat pump hot water heaters. We called repeatedly for follwo up after this one visit. Barnes did not return phone calls.They did not help us with a warranty claim.

After we reached out to AO Smith directly, they helped us diagnose the failure using two simple thermometers and the software on the heat pump. AO Smith offered a warranty replacement.

I would not have Barnes do any work for us again.
