The Drain Fighter

My husband contacted James because he had great reviews here. We told him about our problem and he said that snaking the drain would do the trick. So he did. It did do the trick for a whopping 3 weeks and the problem came back. We trusted the “professional” with our problem and ended up with 500 dollars down the drain and back to square one.

He also left our toilet not caulked and it started wiggling, he did come back 3 weeks later to fix it but not before we needed to remind him. He scheduled to caulk multiple times when we started to remind him and failed multiple times to come by (not just once or twice), therefore, he has zero respect of our time. There were also gunk marks on our door and bath tub with which he cleaned half way and said thats all i can do with that.

We strongly do not recommend their service.

None of you can deny you all have zero respect for our time upon canceling the caulk schedule MULTIPLE TIMES. Your response to us shows how UNPROFESSIONAL your service really is.

We called on a Saturday after our basement flooded from a big rain. Another plumber could not fix the problem so we called The Drain Fighter based on good reviews. The team was responsive and came out on Monday. They promptly identified the problem, fixed it and tested it by flushing with a large amount of water. The team was professional and very easy to work with.

UPDATE: I called The Drain Fighter again when my shower drain stopped draining. I actually finished my shower in the basement, and contacted James after-hours via his web site. I wasn't expecting a reply until the next day, but he replied almost immediately. I asked him to come the next day, and he was here exactly when he said. And, not only did he clear the shower drain, but he also cleared my sink drain, which had been running very slow. He had both drains running great within about 15 minutes.

I continue to highly recommend The Drain Fighter. He is extremely competent, knowledgeable, friendly, and very, very good at his job.

At about 7:30pm on a Monday night, my kitchen drain decided to stop draining. I tried plunging, bleach, and running the disposal. Upshot? I fought the drain and the drain won.

On 8/22/2022 The Drain Fighter technician came to do an emergency drain clearing. The technician was responsive, honest and the price was reasonable, given the timeliness of my request. He was polite and explained thee issue at hand. The tech was able to successfully resolve the issue and stop the problem efficiently. Out of the 10 companies I called, the Drain Fighter company was available to coordinate a response even as late as 9pm on a weekend. They came in clutch & delivered. We highly, highly recommend The Drain Fighter Jetting & Drain Clean! To fix a blocked outdoor drain, we had received a recommendation from Michael & Son to jackhammer the concrete around our 122-year-old home to diagnose and _potentially_ clear the drain, along with a (minimum) $3,500 quote. James Wilkerson from Drain Fighter Jetting & Drain Clean worked on the issue for about 60 minutes, including a 40 minute trip to Home Depot to purchase a basic device to fix the drain. Once got the part, he straightforwardly fixed the issue in under two minutes, and then spent a few minutes more verifying the problem was fully fixed. He saved us at least $3k in service fees, and potentially far more in possible structural damage to our and our neighbors’ property if we had gone with Michael & Son.

They know what they are doing. And they are very friendly. It was like your friends came to save you from your clogged kitchen sink. When I called, James answered right away. I said, “James, water backed up again! What should I do?” He gave me a tip and it worked. I will definitely call him whenever I need help with clogged drains.

This company is fantastic. Super responsive. I posted a request for service Sunday night and James (owner) reached out to me within a couple of hours. I was put on the schedule for the next morning. James called to confirm he was on the way and showed up on time. They unclogged a toilet my naughty twin toddlers had clogged with diapers, a roll of toilet paper, a tube of tooth paste and other things. Not to be too explicit, but my 13 yo had subsequently used the toilet not knowing it was clogged so needless to say it was a much more gross job than it should have been. Five stars for sure! We had a clogged main drain that we tried to snake ourselves with a rented machine. After several failed attempts, we called James. He took the time to understand the situation on the phone and scheduled service for a few hours later. His technician, Patrick, arrived promptly and solved our problem quickly and efficiently. Great job fixing the clog

I called them late at night with an emergency. James was very professional and was able to diagnose our problem over the phone. He offered to still come out after hours, but was honest that i could save money by waiting until the morning. He gave me directions for a temp fix until he could came the following day. He came as promised. The problem was exactly what he predicted and was able to fix it within an hour. I would give 10 stars if I could!

We had a drain clog in our kitchen sink and both basins had water backing up, not a pretty scene especially while guests were here for a visit. We have tried plunger and everything but none worked. I called James in a Saturday afternoon and he showed up early Sunday morning as promised. After another plumber gave up on my backed-up drain pipe, I found James on Google, and he was fortunately able to come same day. James and his colleague spent over 2.5 hours at my place fighting with what the first plumber called a dog hair clog, and tackling it from different angles. Turns out that it was a buildup of roots, which James cleared.

This review is a little late but it is necessary to highlight the great service I was provided. Two weeks ago, I was home stuck with a garbage disposal that was not working. Called my usual service only to find out they were out of business permanently.

Found Drain Fighter on Yelp. I placed the call for an appt and James was at my home within 45 minutes (early Monday morning) of contact. He repaired the disposal and was out my front door in 15 minutes (seriously). He was courtesy, professional, knew how to solve the problem quickly, answered my questions, and gave me my morning back to continue working uninterrupted.
