Very responsive and professional. My schedule is very busy and they were able to fit me in at a day/time that worked. Marcus, the tech who came out, was polite, friendly and my dogs loved him. He documented everything, gave me a quote for the property manager and sent me photos of the corrosion issues inside the AC unit. Definitely would recommend this team!

We have used Sila for at least the last ten years. They are the best heating and cooling company by leaps and bounds over any other in the Washington area!
We had our fall boiler service done by Mr. Billy Bollon. He was was amusingly nice,clean,smart and did not hesitate when I asked him questions about how things worked. He answered my questions with the excitement and knowledge of someone who truly liked what he was doing. In fact all the people at Sila have been very nice and great anout giving us information! If you are having any heating or cooling problems you should call this company. You will be happy that you did. Thank you for the great work and answering all my questions Mr. Bollon!

Lucas was on-time for appointment, very professional, knowledgeable, responsive to all questions, courteous & greeted me with a big smile.

Charged me a $90 consultation fee to come out and tell me that installing a single smart thermostat that I already purchased was going to cost $1500. The only conceivable explanation for a price that high is that they don’t want to do the work, and just want to collect their consultation fee.

The technician was very professional and courteous. I will use Sila again.

Jose Alfaro did an excellent job making minor repairs to my high velocity a/c system, which is in a difficult-to-access area. He was quick, efficient, kind, communicative, and followed all covid protocols. I highly recommend him!

I called them for a quote on replacing my leaking water heater. Rachael was very helpful, provided prompt responses via phone and email, and also had the best price. I didn't end up going with them because they didn't have the exact tank size I needed but I will definitely try to use them in the future given their superb customer service.

We rely on Sila for all our heating, AC, and plumbing needs. In the past few years we've had them install a combi boiler (hot water and central heat), a sump pump (w/ battery backup), and repair and deep clean our ductless split ACs and their employees are always on time, professional, courteous, and responsive. Most importantly they've never had to come back to fix any problems because they do quality work. I always request one of their techs, Jose Alfaro, because he goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right.

The entire Sila team was thorough and patient with me. The crew was tidy, polite, professional and creative in solving the problems that arise in an install like this in a 100 year old home.

The tech called me when he was in route to my location. He preformed the needed service as was promised. Before he left he asked if I had any questions regarding the services preformed today. After completing the job in about 10 minutes I received my report via e-mail. Thanks for the quality of service you provided today.

We have an annual maintenance contract. They sent a technician the SAME day that I called. THAT made a real difference since it was a hot day and we had some workers in the house doing a remodeling. The problem turned out to be minor (a flipped fuse). But I did not like being charged 30% more for renewing the annual maintenance contract. The average rate of inflation is now running at just under 10%. Surely they could have done the inflationary adjustment in smaller steps.

It was easy to schedule and the office was helpful in guiding me to the right service. I had Russell Knight service my heat and AC, he was very thorough and answered all my questions. I felt like I was in good hands.

Nate was on time, polite, and proceeded to go through a process of elimination in determining why our furnace was only providing intermittent heating. At the end, he determined it was a faulty heat sensor. Unfortunately the service call was on a weekend and the supply houses are closed. Can't blame the tech for bad timing!

This was a follow on to a previous call with a different service technician.

I have used Sila for the past 4 years or so. They always have great customer service and do a great job. Tony came out to fix my AC which wasn’t working. He was prompt, professional and answered all my Qs.

Jose from Sila came over the other day for a seasonal maintenance service and he was great. He was on time (rare with service companies); answered all of my questions, and was very thorough in his checkup of my HVAC unit. They also have a great deal where they offer two maintenance appointments for $149, which is a good deal. Will definitely be using them again!

I needed emergency service on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised when Rachel picked up the phone and not an answering machine. She was very pleasant and helpful in getting a technician to my home promptly on a hot Saturday afternoon. My AC is blowing better than ever and I recommend Sila to all my friends looking for an honest and reliable heating and AC company. Im glad I called Sila because I have had nightmare experiences with other local HVAC contractors in the past.

I had Tyler out to my house for annual maintenance and thought he did a great job. Very informative about what I could do to keep things in good shape, had good suggestions for things to look out for, and knew that he didn't need to check my refrigerant pressure (the act of which releases some of the pressure) since he could tell by the system function that it was in good shape.

Sila is the best!! You won’t go wrong with their service. All the employees are trust worthy and always on time.

Great value with signing up for their regular service. Reasonable and professional. When had an issue with the old AC system, Sila's technician came next morning and did not charge anything telling us it was a part of the service contract!

Our AC/heating system was 18+ years and begun having issues. Decided to go ahead and replace before the highest summer season. Sila's team have done great job. From Luis who came on the same day we asked to assess and do estimation for a new system through scheduling and completing job. Everything was done well, timely, professionally. Josh and Elvis, installation team, worked all day Friday to remove the old system, install the new system, replaced the box, and fixed other related things. Friendly service, careful with floors, etc. on the property, cleaned, and took time to show the new system. Thank you for the great job!

After checking with references, who gave Sila excellent reviews for honest and dependable work, I set up an appointment with Sila. The day prior to and the day of, I received texts to confirm the reserved appointment day and time.

Mr. Marcus Bernett arrived promptly. He is extremely courteous and professional. He quickly troubleshot the problem with my HVAC, gave me a reasonable quote, and made the repair after I agreed to the price.

He kindly checked a few other items, while giving my newly repaired HVAC a chance to cool my condo, and then took measurements to ensure that the repair resolved my HVAC cooling problem.

The HVAC issue has been resolved and I couldn't be happier as a new customer.

Sila installed a mini split system in my 1926 home. Richard, Tom, and all other team members were fantastic. Given the house's structure, it was not a simple project. Mr. Vaccaro and his assistant diagnosed a heating problem with my gas boiler. They were punctual, courteous and very professional in the service they provided. I highly recommend this company.

He came into my home, surveyed the work to be performed, returned to his vehicle, came back and immediately started to prepare the work area by covering my floors with a tarp to prevent any possible damage that could occur to my property. He later informed me of the work that would be done and walked me thru the process from beginning to end prior to starting the job! The added bonus, was that he finished ahead of time! Sila installed a new AC system in our last home, which included a service contract for twice yearly seasonal checks/prep. Today they repaired and provided maintenance to the AC in our current home. They continue to provide great service through knowledgeable technicians, Technician Lucas diagnosed and repaired our problem in about half an hour. When Lucas suggested an annual service contract for twice yearly seasonal prep and maintenance, with a number of additional perks, we immediately agreed. They may not be the cheapest, but our cost today was fairly reasonable considering the issue; and in our experience they’ve always fixed any problem the first time out. We’ve always found their pricing fair and worth it. It’s hard to find decent, quality HVAC service… we’re fortunate to have found Sila, and highly recommend them.

Josh and his team did a great job installing our new HVAC equipment. They were friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. Installation looks clean and organized, and he walked me through the new equipment in detail.

Overall, we are very pleased with Sila. We were having trouble finding a technician to come out to assess our water heater after a home inspector said there was a backdraft and carbon monoxide leak. Sila sent a tech (Roger) the next day. He was on time and very professional. In addition, the home buyer had some additional questions about his report and he took the time to discuss it with both the seller and buyer on the line. We highly recommend them.

I have been getting my annual inspection done from Marcus these past 3 years because he is fantastic. He is thorough with his work, he is patient and answers any questions I might have and when he makes suggestions on any further work I might need, I don't feel any pressure to get it done, I feel that he is just letting me know and it is truly work needed and not just to get my money. As long as Marcus works for Sila, I will always get my HVAC work done with them.

Technician Tyler Brawner came out the same day and had our AC issue diagnosed, repaired, and cooling down in less than an hour. He explained everything he was doing, asked me if I had any questions, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of (vents open, filters clean, CO detectors working.) Best repair experience I’ve had as a homeowner.

Our AC suddenly was not blowing cold air! With the warm weather we needed a repair quickly. Sila was able to put us on the schedule dame day. Tyler came by on time and had us up and running very quickly. Tyler was thorough and explained what was needed immediately and gave us good tips for the future. Wonderful experience. My AC stopped working Friday night I called Sila first thing Saturday morning and they had a technician out within an hour! Within 20 minutes of the technician's assessment he diagnosed and fixed the problem. The technician was punctual, polite and professional. I had a new HVAC system installed by Sila last year and purchased the service plan. Twice a year a technician comes to service my unit. Carlos was extremely helpful and he walked me through the process of ordering and changing my own filter. He was extremely attentive and I highly recommend this service.

I have been using Sila Heating & Air for my home since last 3 years. Technicians are very professional and very performs good maintenance service. Recently, I used Sila in for my home in Centreville, VA and Technician (Mustafa) performed great service and address all my questions. If you can get Heating Maintenance done in August, it is typically cheaper ($59) than other companies. I recommend Sila to anyone.

Charged me a $99 consultation fee to come out and tell me that the unit is old and need replacement. The company representative told me the guy had to clean the coils but he asked me over 600$ to do that. Unbelievably unprofessional and disgusting.

Devin and Anthony cleared a clogged floor drain, replaced some old copper and cst iron piping, and relocated and replaced an outdoor faucet. Quick service and they performed a whole house inspection without high pressure up selling. Highly recommended.
