I was referred to Daniel from someone because my husband and I needed a backflow installed. At first, all went well the schedule turn around time is GREAT. I will say that.
I asked the receptionist on the phone for a starting estimate and she said $99.50, which I said okay and understood that they can’t give an actual quote without seeing the job. In Marana, we have regulations to go by, and someone from the company called our Backflow Tester to go over what was needed to be done. We had ordered the part previously and had to get a permit for it, and just needed it installed. There was a faulty piece so the plumber said he would be back the next day to finish the work. My husband and I agreed.
The next day the plumber comes and finishes his work and gave my husband the bill. No mention of price before hand. Needless to say, we were shocked with the price! Luckily, my husband was able to bring it down 10%.
We looked over the invoice and saw the 15 or so minutes to fix the faulty piece was charged $99.50. If we would’ve known this we would’ve drove to the store ourselves!
A little time after the plumber left, the backflow tester arrives and the installation wasn’t done correct. Backflow tester called me and said to give the plumber who did the work his number to go over again what should’ve been done because now the part is “shoved up to the wall.” Which, yes the plumber did mention our neighborhood has a strange backflow setup. When the plumber called the backflow tester, they discussed the work, and when asked, “did you let them know that the way it was installed would be an issue with repairs?” The plumber replied, “no they didn’t ask.” Backflow tester responded, “You’re the plumber. You know this stuff. They don’t. That’s why they hired you.”

So in other words, if we ever need to repair the backflow we would have to replace the whole thing AGAIN instead of repairing just where the repair is. Which the backflow tester purposely recommended that part for.

Not to mention, there is still a drip from the pipe, and debating if we should call to have them fix it or call another company

I was very thankful for this company to be able to do the work so last minute, and the plumber was kind while doing the work. I am saddened to leave a bad review because I was so thankful for the turn around time. Unfortunately, it is true. You must look around and compare prices. I was hoping all would be good because they were highly recommended to me.

We recieved a quote from a well known plumbing company in Tucson when our toilet wasn't flushing. The company rep said it wasn't clogged and that the toilet needed replaced. The price he quoted was steep so we researched other options and found Sampson plumbing on Angieslist. The owner, Glenn, called quickly and provided a quote at half the price and was willing to come out the next day! His technician arrived started pulling the toilet and found a clog (kids 😐). He was honest and saved us hundreds of $$$! We basically paid 25% of the price quoted by the other company. Please thank your technician Sampson Plumbing! We know who to call in the future😊

We had Michael come to our house and help us with a major problem in our half bath! He went above and beyond to help us and answer all questions and concerns we had. He made sure the job was done right and we would for sure call him with any problems we have in the future!

Abacus Plumbing is awesome!
We discovered a leak under the foundation of our house (slab leak) and then to our horror found out we had the dreaded polybutelene piping (of doom). Once your poly pipes start leaking you are sitting on a ticking time bomb. We had three reputable plumbers out to discuss our options. All three recommended a full house re-pipe which is an extremely traumatic and invasive procedure (not covered by insurance).
We ultimately went with Abacus.
Bob from Abacus was very confident, and very patiently explained to us how he would go about repiping our home. Since we have no crawlspace, or attic, and a multi-level flat roof, repiping was challenging. Bob had a clear idea of how to do it, and his plan seemed minimally invasive and logical. His bid came in lower than the other 2 as well.
The Abacus team (Shane, Ty and Francesco) showed up on time, with three large trucks, ready to go. They spent a long time making sure they all understood The Plan and then went about it in a very careful way, being sure to “measure twice and cut once”. They have a great working team relationship with each other. They were super careful about where and how they cut the walls, leaving nice, neat, rectangular holes. They carefully labeled and saved all the drywall pieces so they could be reused. They used high quality materials for the re-piping (PEX, copper and heavy duty brass fittings). They tried to make as few holes as they possibly could; in one case one of them even crawled up into the ceiling to feed pipe around a difficult corner so they could avoid making 2 more holes. Even though our house was a challenge to repipe the team really seemed to enjoy the problem solving process and coming up with solutions. Each night they left us with a working sink, toilet, and shower, and they left the house clean and tidy, so aside from the rectangular holes in the walls it was like they’d never been there. I swear my floors are cleaner now than when they arrived. They were respectful, sympathetic and understanding about how invasive this procedure is, and it was a pleasure having them in our home for three days straight. They even fixed some existing plumbing problems we had in addition to the repiping, and left us with a house that now has NO leaks of any kind. I feel very confident about the job they did, and would not hesitate to recommend them. It’s lovely to have peace of mind.

Never use this company!!! hired Mr rooter to replace a backflow prevention valve at my water service at the house- guy showed up at 10 and it is now after 6pm without water service caused by this company! Service tech was very un professional...damaged existing piping and did an overall poor job with assembly,,, it took me two attempts to call after hours service to get guy off my job site... Never use Mr. rooter!! They SUCK... still without water and no solution in site....I will never, never, never use or recommend this site. Will probably have to go thru the hassle of a day or two without water and have to go with a different company! Use Mr Rooter if you want a similar experience....very bad service...in fact worst i have encountered by any local contractor!!! Attached is a pic of what they left at my house -job site today!!! You call this plumbing?!?!?

just had an entire re-pipe done on my home including whole home filtration system, new water heater, new fixtures throughout the entire property and multiple hose bibs in front and back yard. Robert and Ryan two gentlemen I have great respect for and welcome them in my home at any point. The work conducted was efficient and very clean leaving zero to no clean up. My home hasn't had water like this in the 10 years I've lived here. I owe a great gratitude to Plumber kings and the staff associated. Chris (Owner) is knowledgeable and was willing to do exactly what I had pictured in my head. If you are looking for a vendor, hands down no questions asked Plumber kings are my guys. To top it off I already have a future pending job I will have conducted in the near future. Big thanks!

We called Right on Plumbing having found a water leak in our main line from the meter to the house.
They gave us a fair quote to replace the pipe on Friday and we hired them immediately.
Tina the boss came on Monday with her son and Dave, a giant machine to dig 80 of the 120ft from meter to home and a ton of tools...
These guys and gal worked extremely hard, even working in the dark with iPhone torches to get our water back on. This was a one day job that turned into a 1 and 1/2 day job.
Very diligent, professional and top-notch workmanship, very impressed and couldn’t ask for better.

I have used this company on many occasions. They have always supplied professional, prompt service. Zach and George have been fantastic. We had a huge leak under the foundation, they came out right away and made sure we had water. They re piped the whole house and answered all of my endless questions with patience. I would absolutely call them again and recommend them to all my friends and family.

We have been customers of Arico and have never been disappointed with their quality of work and service. For our most recent call our technician John showed up on time and was personable and professional and made sure not to leave a mess behind when the job was done. My Joe Homeowner attempt at plumbing that had gone sideways was quickly resolved and he gave me the names of a couple places in town that I could try for the hard to find parts for our 40 year old faucets. He even took the time to give me some pointers on how to finish up another project that is going to save me time and avoid some aggravation. I highly recommend Arico in general and John in particular.
