Tim went to my rental property and was great with my tenants. His service was quick and had the ac working great in no-time. I was very happy with Arico and the service they provided.

I received 3 quotes to install a new water heater. The quotes were comparable but I chose Arico because the gentleman providing us our quote gave us a great explanation of the services we were looking for.. The Arico Technician, Angel, arrived promptly and advised the steps he was taking to remove our 12 year old water heater and install our new one. Then he provided a detail info on the water heater itself. Everyone was very professional from the time I first called through the installation.

Is this a scam? You be the judge. Arico ‘snaked’ my septic inlet because of root troubles. They recommended further preventative treatment with RootX. RootX’s active ingredient is Dichlobenil, and Dichlobenil works well. I usually do this treatment myself using Roebic, which is also Dichlobenil (and Roebic can be bought from Ace, Home Depot etc. for $18 for a one pound treatment). On this occasion, I thought I’d let the Arico plumber do it as the two of us were standing around. Treatment usually amounts of pouring the powder, about a mug full, into a toilet and flushing the toilet. In this case the powder was poured into the open pipe and a little water added. It takes about 5 seconds and no skill in either case. For this component of my bill, Arico later revealed that they wanted to charge me $96.20, including tax. Now, they are free to try to charge what they like, but for a proper contract they need to disclose the charge in advance or have a charge that is right or fair or proper. I googled ‘RootX’ and you can buy it online under $30 for two pounds, with no shipping charges.

Is this good service? You be the judge. I phone Ted/Tom in the office at Arico and suggested to him that he should reduce my bill for RootX to the market price of it (which he can check by Googling it). After consulting with the owner of Arico he got back to me with the statement that if I took in a 2 pound container of RootX they would refund me what was on my bill for this item. I asked, incredulously, ‘you are going to make me come to you’. ‘Yes’, was his reply (passive aggression at its best). So, I ordered RootX online, got the container for $30 and took it in to them and Tom/Ted gave me $96.20 for it.

Is this fair dealing? You be the judge. Arico have a minimum charge for a callout of two hours labor. On their website it says that if the job takes less than two hours the plumber would do other plumbing jobs as needed until the two hours was reached. My job took about an hour. But the plumber did not tell me of Arico’s policy and I did not know of it until later when I read their website in detail. I had plenty of other plumbing jobs for them, my irrigation system needed work. Arico were paid for two hours when they did only one hour work. When I later mentioned this to Ted/Tom, he demurred.

Knowledgable, professional and courteous service. Arico was sent out to deal my kitchen sink plumbing issue on a home warranty claim. They called and scheduled a time, called again when the technician was on his way, which was ahead of schedule. He did an excellent job of diagnosing and fixing the problem, trying natural means of loosening the clog before employing a chemical solution to the problem. Will definitely use this service again.

My wife and I own a duplex 150 miles from Tucson. We needed a company that would be able to do the maintenance .Arico has exceeded our expectations be showing up on time, always has professional workers that are polite and do top notch service.

Arico has appeared promptly and resolved problems correctly on several occasions - all at very reasonable fees.

Misleading transparent pricing. On their website they list the water heaters Bradford White Natural Gas Water Heaters Supplied and Installed 40 gallon gas for $999. Ordered one for a rental and when I got my bill it was $1250.

Mentioned it and was told they added a 3/4 shut off a $12 part. Have really liked them in the past but feel like I was taken because I wasn't there for the install.

Arico is the best. I won't let any other company handle my HVAC.

The water shut-off valve for our house was not working, and we were preparing for an extended trip. We had visions of a water catastrophe with no way to turn off water. At just the right moment, we saw Arico's television ad and decided to call. The next day, Aaron and Alex were at our house, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in short order. They had to go for a part, but Aaron was quick to say there would be no charge for their time away from the house. We felt Aaron and Alex were 100% professional, and the charge was more than reasonable. Arico's card is on our go-to bulletin board at the top of our list for plumbing needs.

I have been an Arico plumbing heating and cooling customer for many years now, and have always been very happy with the prompt and courteous service. The technicians that have taken care of what ever problem I have had have been knowledgeable friendly and neat in accomplishing the repair. The prices are very reasonable I have recommended Arico plumbing heating and cooling to friends and neighbors.

Home Warranty Plan sent them out to fix a water heater; both times Arico Failed doing the repair right; Will give them one more chance; will not pay the Home Warranty CO-PAY until Arico get this right. They have been put on notice by my property management company!

I called them in panic due to property's vendor being unreliable and not showing up when hot water heater failed. Luckily a friend recommended these guys, I called at 4pm and made next day appointment. Gal was great on phone, asked right questions etc... said they would see me at noon, they called to confirm that morning and were right on time. Gentleman showed up and did the R&R and was done in less than 2 hours. Cleaned up his mess, hauled old one away. Did everything for quoted price with 2 code upgrades that property required also. I hope I can convince board where we live to use them all the time for all plumbing issues and I am getting AC quote from them soon. I love people that do what they say they are going to do....

Arico was very professional in their work. I had 2 men show up on time and they did a nice and clean job. They replaced my 20 years old Rheem AC system on my roof. I was a bit worried when they gave me an estimate of $3250, compared to one estimate of $9500. Seems there is a large possibility of prices out in the market place. Well Im happy so if you paid $9500 I feel your pain.

Josh came out on 4/7 and quickly took care of the problem, explaining what was going on and answered my questions.

I have used this company for years and have previously gave 4 star reviews. However, now with an emergency main water line leak, they tried to rip me off with a $10,000 repair estimate for what other plumbers charged $3500. In addition, their bid was just a number, no details, no warranty, and no explanations,. Disreputable to an old customer.

A technician came out and determined there was a leak where they hook up their service equipment. Said they had to order the part. A month later the part is here. I've called twice to ask why I have an estimate of over $400.00 to repair a leak seemingly caused by their servicing of the unit NO RESPONSE The last time I call the person who answered the phone kept asking why I thought they caused the problem - well because they are the only company that has ever serviced the unit.

I have a home warranty who sent 3 companies out to my house to diagnose my ac unit. All three companies spent 10 minutes in their diagnosis to tell me nothing was wrong with my unit. We got Arico out and Tim, took his time and was incredibly thorough in his diagnosis where he found several issues. Ultimately, the unit was in such bad shape, I was told the parts needed to fix it were more expensive than a new unit. They scheduled me quickly, got a crane to my house and removed the old and installed the new unit in lightning fast time. Tim was wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and had an answer to my every question and explained things so that I understood. I am thrilled with the service I have received from Arico and highly recommend them!!

We've used Arico for the last few years, as our washing machine (stand pipe) drains into the kitchen sink if a clog starts to form. We would have it snaked once a year, and that would do it. The old guys were awesome and would always fix the issue. This last time, we got a kid who could not figure out the problem, even after coming out a second time, in fact he recommended that we go with a company with a camera. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that there's a clog not allowing the water to back up in the sink, ugh! We ended up paying for service that was never rendered. Not happy....trying to find a new plumber now.

Honest work at decent prices.

My water heater went out over the holiday weekend. First thing Tuesday morning I called for help and explained my situation. Arico sent a man out right away and Roger went right to work. By 10:30 am I had a new water heater and plenty of hot water. The man I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and easy to talk to. Roger was also very friendly and experienced with a good work ethic. I'll be calling Arico in the future if needed.

Jesse, the plumbing technician, went out of his way to to solve the enigma of why my rental home drain lines were draining slow.
Eventually, between snaking and using an enzyme the clog cleared and my tenants were happy again.
I should also say that the Mgr provided a site map that showed where the 1955 original clean out was located - so Frontline and office worked together to solve the problem!

We worked with Arico through our warranty company for our AC coil that wasn't working. Tim did a great job diagnosing the problem and getting all the necessary information to the warranty company. They kept us informed during the waiting process and made sure we got the right parts. Tim came out and finished the whole exchange in an afternoon and was very patient with my questions, he even went the extra mile to help us get our outside unit cleaned up and prepared for the summer. I will definitely use them again if the situation arises.

Jesse arrived promptly and was polite and friendly. He went right to work, clearing both bathroom sinks which were both clogged. In one hour he was finished and the sinks were both unclogged! We are thankful for the quick and professional service of AriCo Plumbing Heating!

Jeffrey arrived a little after 1000 hrs and finished by 1030 replacing a hose bib on our back patio. He then sat in his truck for 15 min with engine running I assume writing up the bill. At 1045, he called in my credit card for a FULL HOUR job listed as 1000 to 1100. Questions I asked him about the job and the parts were answered if at all curtly and perfunctorily. Like where was this new valve made? I dunno. It matters to me. I feel the extra time charge for the second half hour was unreasonable and fraudulent.

My home warranty company sent Airco out to my house. This was the first and last time this company will ever be used by me. They were to install a new A/C unit on my home. After they did the condensation lines were never hooked up, the condensation line was left just to drain on to the roof that was just put on the house. The unit was not sealed to the duct work so there was a lot of dust blowing in to my home from out side. This also made my electric bill rise. There is also a sun shield that should have been installed on the duct work on the roof to keep it from rotting that was not installed. I WILL NEVER HAVE THIS COMPANY OUT TO MY HOME AGAIN. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASUER OF WORKING WITH.

They are quick - they were able to send someone on the same morning I called. I have used Arico several times and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely the most ridiculous experience I have had with a contractor. They installed an under sink water at my business about 1 year ago. It failed, so we called them out to fix it again, close to warranty timeout but that wasn't the issue. The tech checked the unit and told us that it was wired incorrectly, supplying 220V to a 120V. I explained that they installed the unit last year and how could this be? His reply I don't know what to tell you. I called the company and asked for a manager to call me back; they didn't and I ended up calling them again. I was connected to Pete who gave me a CYA answer about voltage and then they installed a direct replacement, so you need an electrician. I explained, again, that they installed the unit a year ago and asked why wasn't the voltage problem found at that time? And how could a 120V unit last a year hooked up to a 220V. He said that they simply hooked up a direct replacement and don't check that during the install. WHAT? Your company installs electric water heaters and doesn't bother to check voltage? Totally ridiculous response to my valid questions. I wonder how many older retired folks that really don't know anything about electrical issues get burned by this company every year with this kind of BS? I would give them a 0 Stars rating but you can't do that.

My A/C failed on a very hot day. ARICO was able to get a technician to me the next day. The technician, Tim, was very efficient in fixing the problem.

Fast response time. Very knowledgeable service people. Tim explained what was wrong, knew how to fix it, and didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. Would (and have in the past) recommend them without hesitation.

Your technician Tim is great ,knowledgable, polite and friendly. He worked on our A/C for the last 3 or 4 year and his work was impeccable.

I was given a verbal estimate for plumbing work that ranged from $150 to $400 and made the mistake of providing the plumber with my CC number. I was billed fro $568. The company refused to adjust the amount. When I filed a complaint with my CC company the Arico folks out and out lied and said I had verified that amount. Good work, poor integrity.

They installed a new unit without bothering to look at the ducting. I was charged a fourth more for a unit that does not do its job and after it was installed I am told the problem was the ducting. They gave me an estimate of almost 4000 to replace the ducts on a 1000 sf single story townhouse, almost 3 times more than the best companies in Tucson. Arico has a technician who is very rude and flippant, and a field supervisor smelling of alcohol at 8am, who put holes in my walls and totally avoided the issue of repairing them. I used this Internet sites and their rating system to find a good company and this is what I got in return. Please do your research before calling this company specially if you are a woman and a senior. The positive comments here are suspicious, check others.

Had a plumbing issue where we were rerouting some water pipes in the kitchen. A craigslist plumber I was using because he was inexpensive couldn't figure out why some pipes under the floor were still leaking. Arico was able to come out the next day, and after I explained the issues one of their plumbers was able to figure out where the issue was. They made the correction for a very reasonable price.

I called to get a free estimate on a water softener installation. Steve came and worked up an estimate: $1875 plus tax. He did not ask any questions about water hardness, nor water use. I called to set up a time for install and spoke with two different phone receptionists over the course of a week. Neither could give me any specifics on the grain capacity of the water softener, how often it regenerates, or ideal household size. Steve seems to be the only person who has any specifics, so for every question I had to be referred to Steve, who got more rude the more questions I asked about the system. I'm quite sure I will not be using Arico for any future business as the lack of professionalism is the first warning sign of a business that is not genuine, does not provide quality service and may even overcharge customers. I also find it difficult to understand how a sales person would be reluctant to explain the specifications about the system. I guess customer service isn't what it used to be.

I am so impressed with the service from this company!! I called many HVAC and plumbing companies in Tucson and these people really are the best, in my opinion. Steve, who is awesome, came out right away and gave me an estimate - which was great - and had the work done with no up charges after the estimate. He explained the process and kept me in the loop through the whole installation. Completely knowledgeable, he walked me through everything - never had such great customer service! A house I just bought had polybutyl piping that had to be replaced and the AC was trashed. Steve lined up the whole project and executed it on time and on budget! I can't say enough about Steve because he has integrity, knowledge and customer service that can't be beat. You don't see this kind of service so much anymore these days - no headaches, just the best service! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Arico Plumbing / HVAC and Steve!

Set up an appointment to have someone look at my hot water heater. Never mentioned anything about a 40 dollar fee. Had several others look for free. Since they were not transparent enough to inform me and just hand me a bill I chose not to use their services. 8 other providers estimated for free. Should have been upfront.

Josh was a great representative of Arico. The job turned out to be more difficult than first thought: however he completed it without any extra added expense and in a timely manner. He kept me informed the entire time and couldn't have been more courteous. I highly recommend Arico for any plumbing needs.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Arico Plumbing. Once I registered my request with my insurance company, they called me within 15 minutes to schedule my appointment which took place less than an hour later. Wonderful service--prompt, professional, and above expectations.

EXCELLENT service and price without the BS high tech sales pitch of some other companies. They come with the basic required equipment and get the job done. For my particular situation (roots in sewer line creating blockage) the costs for Arico was under $200. The 'other' guys spent 4 hours at my house without accomplishing anything... then quoted a price of $1500-$3500 to get the same job done. Arico spent 1 hour and solved the problem. My neighbor recommended I call Arico as he has used them for years. Next time they'll be my first call.

I can always rely on Arico for excellent,reliable service. Many years ago I had a water pipe break outside & I called three well known companies to get an estimate but I also needed service soon. Arico was the first to arrive, the best price and the friendliest. I only call them now. I recently have needed to call them for two different services and both times Josh was my serviceman. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and finished each job in record time I couldn't be more pleased!!

I'm glad that I found Arico Plumbing. I had been dissatisfied with other plumbers since moving to Oro Valley. I decided to try the offer on the website for a Toto toilet.
The technician Mike could not have been more friendly or professional. He did a great job with the installation, even running out to get caulk that would better match the grout on our bathroom tile. He even gave suggestions on cleaning water stains off of our other toilets. I tried his suggestion and it worked like a charm.
I will definitely recommend Arico and will be using them again in the future.

Having had plumbing issues in our new house, we've had a couple of different places sent that our home warranty company sent over. I've grown a little weary of plumbers during the process. We had Roger out, and he explained everything to me in great detail...why he is doing this or that, what it will resolve, etc. I'm no plumber so his explanations are welcoming. Very friendly, quick service and good work. I've now found the plumbing company I'll use in the future.

I've always called ARICO for all my plumbing needs but last week I had heating issues so I called ARICO. A very nice friendly person answered and set my appointment in just one hour. Tim arrived on time and diagnosed my heating issue quickly then repair it with in an hour and for a few cents less than his estimate. Tim also gave me great helpful tips on using my heat pump for more efficient use then showed me how to set my vents for heating efficiency. We have been customers of Arico and have never been disappointed with their quality of work and service. For our most recent call our technician John showed up on time and was personable and professional and made sure not to leave a mess behind when the job was done. My Joe Homeowner attempt at plumbing that had gone sideways was quickly resolved and he gave me the names of a couple places in town that I could try for the hard to find parts for our 40 year old faucets. He even took the time to give me some pointers on how to finish up another project that is going to save me time and avoid some aggravation. I highly recommend Arico in general and John in particular.

We have a whole house hot water recirculating system and the piping sprung a leak near the pump behind the hot water heater in a tight space. Josh with Arico removed the bad section of copper pipe, replaced and re-soldered the connections in a short time. I asked him questions about the rest of the system which is up in the crawl space
above the ceilings. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, presenting a new idea (new to me anyway) using manifolds and a different pump should the need arise for more repairs. My wife and I are really impressed and pleased. In addition the bill was TOTALLY reasonable. We'll call Arico everytime we need a plumber, and if you can request the service tech, we'll ask for Josh.

Arico came out and replaced my garbage disposal right away.
They were so helpful to fix my sink which was all backed up from the clogged and old disposal, so now I have a wonderful new disposal.

We were having trouble with water pressure in our home. Dustin Maples was sent out and came up with the solution in about 10 minutes. Our 17 year old water softener was the culprit. Dustin did some research on costs and benefits of a new system and explained it to us in layman's terms. He promptly and professionaly installed the new system at a reasonable price.

So may 28th I got into contact with someone who works for arico about looking at my a/c unit. he said it was old and needed to be replaced. he said he needed 500$ cash down and 6000$ made out to him to get the unit. he wrote me an invoice for all of it. after 3 weeks of constant reschedueling for an install I said im tried of waiting and want a refund. he said the refund would take 15-30 days. so 7 weeks later still didnt have my refund. was constantly getting the run around when my money was going to be ready for me. I made 4 different phone calls to the office no one cared or did anything. currently ive hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit against the company and the installer for a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want the same thing to happen to you.

We had a water leak in our kitchen of which the source of the leak was unknown. We called Arico and the person who took our call was very polite, very helpful and scheduled a technician out to our house for first thing the following day. Josh arrived on time and went right to work to find out the source of the leak. Josh was very polite, very knowledgeable, very professional and very thorough in determining the source of the leak. He checked out everything, left no stone unturned and found the leak. It turned out it was not a plumbing issue, rather it was an appliance issue as the dishwasher was the source of the leak. The problem was the dishwasher had been disconnected and moved out of the way so restoration folks could come in and tear out the wall and dry everything out. The leak was behind the dishwasher and never appeared on the kitchen floor. Josh did a great job and we will certainly use Arico again whenever we have a plumbing problem. I would recommend them to anyone as they are quick to respond and very efficient. Thanks Josh and thanks Arico.

Have been an ARICO customer for nearly 20 years, from a minor faucet installation to a complete repipe of my home. The staff have always been courteous and professional, from the receptionist who deals with phone calls to the technicians in the field who do the work. My last call was to replace a kitchen faucet. I wanted the same type of faucet and since the current one was over 15 years old, wasn't sure if they were still available. The General Manager did some research and found the part number for the faucet and I was able to order it on line. The technician came out and installed the new one. As always, the tech did a great job, and cleaned up the area when he was done. Would highly recommend ARICO.

I discovered Arico eight or nine years ago, after having several less than satisfactory experiences with other established plumbing companies. Arico is always my first choice for plumbing. I've never been anything less than totally happy with their service and their personnel. I can recommend them without reservation.

On time, efficient, Roger seemed to know a lot about septic systems and concerned re working in a timely manner to keep by bill amount down. Gave me other helpful plumbing advice re replacing sinks, etc. Have used them for years for pluming water heater needs and my boyfriend has as well at his home.

Fast response, right on time and very thorough. After job clean-up was great and the price reasonable. I'm definitely keeping their number!
