Set an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate for some plumbing repairs on a house in Tampa, was told a plumber would be there some time between 10 and 12. Around 10:30, I got a text saying the plumber assigned to my job had taken another job in Dade City that morning and would likely be late getting to my house (great planning!), but definitely no later than 12:30. I explained I was on a tight schedule and needed to keep the time agreed to, but I'd wait until 12:30.
Sure enough, 12:30 rolls around with no plumber. I texted my contact and told them I was done waiting and would find another plumber. The reply I got was No problem, thanks for the opportunity. Not that an apology would have made a big difference at that point, but it seemed pretty childish to not take ownership of their scheduling issues.

Edit: Very sorry to hear about your plumber's health issues, but I stand by my review. This was a direct quote from a text message received so nothing was taken out of context

Being a home owner this is our first experience of having to hire anyone to do any sort of repairs to our home. I did seek many many estimates and spoke with several plumbers . To be brutally honest This Tech Alex is very thorough he explained everything they would be doing , and answered any and all questions. Actually made me feel like I was talking to an old friend.. Came out to my house the same day when No Other Plumber could fix my toilet went up on the roof and run the snake to clear the line everything was done very professional the plumber who came out was outstanding I knew exactly what to do and fixed all my problems
