Was the only company that even on a weekend, was willing to come to my home. from 1st contact to finished work did excellent work, and was very helpful, and prompt.

called and set up an appointment, they gave me a broad window of 11-4, I called around noon to make sure they will come and the receptionist who was vey nice and tried being helpful said yes. At 2.45 I got a call from William Cahill that they can not honor the time and they come later and when I asked what time his answer was he was not sure but sometimes after 6. I do not do business with people who do not hold their promises or have respect for other people's time and jobs! I had to get off work because of the time frame they gave me only to find out they can not come during the time they gave me and they are running behind! DO NOT recommend this company and by the way they asked 75$ for travel time or the visit ,whatever they worded that, while more reputable companies are charging half that price! 30$ to be exact with better reviews!

Great team and reliable service

Way over priced. For a minor shower repair they charged us for an hour and a half of labor at $320.00 and hour and $31.50 for a part I have since priced at Home Depot for $15.00. The total bill including WA sales tax was $558.05-thankfully i was able to use a coupon for $40.00 off.The Plumber was professional and nice, but he literally spent less then a half hour working on the issue and the rest driving to the parts store. Very disappointed. I could have hired my attorney to repair it for less!!

Bob Oates was able to send a technician on the same day I telephoned,
and he arrived on time. He was professional and friendly, fixed the clogged drain in short order, and provided helpful advice on related plumbing issues. I'm sorry I don't recall his name, but he came at about 11:00 AM (as scheduled) on Monday, Oct. 18 to 4404 2nd Ave. NW.

A second toilet clog occurred in February, 2022. Again, Bob Oates was able to send a technician (two of them this time) on the same day that I telephoned. They arrived on time, and unclogged the toilet quickly and expertly.

We live in an old Craftsman house, which had a number of unique repairs made to it including the water pipes. In fact many of our water pipes were not water pipes. This meant that we didn't have adequate water pressure not to mention poor flow from the hot water heater. They gave us a great quote that included installing a new water heater, installing a new shower that we purchased, and repiping the house from the main to all of the faucets and water outlets. It was completed in a day and easy to arrange. We are very happy with the results. I would recommend them for repiping.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

I was looking for a “handyman” to remove/replace several broken AC units that were jammed into small window openings in an old workspace. Now I first contacted the highest rated handyman services on Google and they all declined the job. That’s when I came across Fixer.com.

The web site steers you into making an appointment right there, which frightened me a little because I didn’t want to make any commitments without knowing if they could actually do the work. After some research, I went ahead and booked an appointment. The process was easy – more like ordering food delivery than what I was used to with other companies. There were many options for setting up a day and time (although no weekends yet). After making the appointment, I received a confirmation email and then an hour later, I got an email with a time estimate range for the job. Since Fixer gives you a rate depending on your zip code, I guess you can estimate the cost of the project.

Fast forward to appointment day - Sherrie and Jacob arrived on time; they were very friendly. They looked at the project/space, gave me an updated time estimate and then went to work. When they were done, they left. They didn’t even ask for payment. I got a text and email later with the invoice. I did notice that the actual time taken was over two hours greater than the estimate. But I’m actually ok with that. It was an unusual job so it would be very difficult to calculate how long it would take to complete.

I went to Fixer.com to pay, easy enough. However, there was an option to leave a tip for the “fixers,” with different suggested amounts. That was unexpected. It’s a different model than I’m used to. But I’m totally ok with anything that encourages better service or rewards good service. I’ll just have to account for that in the budgeting stage moving forward. Sherrie and Jacob were very pleasant and I’m extremely pleased with my experience with Fixer.com. I highly recommend them.

Our hot water heater started going out over the last several weeks. Given that our house is heated by radiators and we have a new baby, this was a serious problem. Because of the rarity of our unit, other plumbers flat out refused to even try to help us out. Not only did PlumbWorks take our calls at all hours of the night, but Nick actually spent the time required by the manufacturer to become a certified technician, just so that he could order a part for us, he didn't charge us a cent for that time. Nick and Marcus know their craft, and they are two of the nicest people you could meet. I highly recommend using PlumbWorks when you need to fix your water heaters; they do good work and they they charge a reasonable fee.
