Helpful and professional staff. Good selection of quality fixtures to actually touch and try out. I'm updating a faucet and sink I'll use multiple times a day for the next 25 years and I just couldn't find anything I liked at the box stores. I walked in, got helped immediately, and got a selection of excellent quality stuff to choose from in about 10 minutes. They have extremely high end stuff but also really good stuff that is reasonably priced compared to the low end junk I found at box stores and on mass retail websites.

We had a sewer backing up into the basement. Nate and David arrived quickly, assessed the situation and we very clear about the first steps. They were both thoughtful, considerate and knowledgeable. We got a quote and they stuck to it. After scoping our line they were able to clear the clog and told us about the tree roots down below - cleared those as well. Both men were very kind and explained things so well. We now know how to help keep the pipes clearer and what might happen in the future. We'd have them back anytime. This is the third plumbing company we’ve had out to our house since we bought it last Sept, and we finally have a winner! Pioneer was originally recommended by our real estate agent, but when our hot water tank failed eight days after we bought the house, Pioneer couldn’t come out for over a week. Since we obviously couldn’t go that long without hot water, we went with another company that could do the work in a couple days. While we now have an on-demand system, it was installed improperly and had to be fixed again – yikes. So when we had a subsequent pressure problem, we called a different company. The problem was resolved, but the plumber was very salesman-y for some additional work. When our disposal stopped working, I decided it wasn’t urgent and I’d wait for Pioneer to send someone out. So glad we did. The plumber quickly assessed the problem, thoroughly explained to me what happened, and told me the disposal was otherwise fine after unjamming it - saving me what I thought would be a pricy replacement. He was respectful, helpful, and punctual. Would definitely call Pioneer again first.

We were incredibly unhappy with Roto Rooter. Before they were cleaning the water from our basement they were estimating the work effort to cut drywall, etc. When they did show up for diagnosis the drain technician looked at the overflowing drain and the main stack and left saying it wasn't a drain issue. The Drain. Was. Overflowing. When I told them to get him back and diagnose they said it would have to wait until the next day.They vacuumed out the standing water only to have it continue to flood until we got another company to fix it the next day. FThe damage was worse than it needed to be because we were left with the same issue we had when we called them. Communication and coordination terrible.

Great service! Plumber was professional, tidy, and polite. Clogged toilet was promptly cleared and the guy verified the problem was fixed before he left (it hasn't recurred). I recommend this company.

Appreciated the quick response to my emergency. Steve provided great service. He not only took care of my problem, but gave me helpful tips on long-term maintenance of my water heater.

Had them come out for a hot water heater repair, right on time and very professional. Also, the guy wasn’t equipped to fix the problem I had, but he told me how to do it myself and then didn’t charge me for the visit, saying he doesn’t like charging people when he doesn’t fix the problem.

Didn’t fix my issue, but it wasn’t their fault, and overall found them to be very trustworthy. Would recommend.

We hired these guys to scope a sewer line. Unfortunately due to the old plumbing they couldn't get their camera down both the vent stack and the drain for one of the toilets. They re-installed the toilet and seal and didn't charge us for their time or trip out. Very fair company practice.

Our hot water heater started going out over the last several weeks. Given that our house is heated by radiators and we have a new baby, this was a serious problem. Because of the rarity of our unit, other plumbers flat out refused to even try to help us out. Not only did PlumbWorks take our calls at all hours of the night, but Nick actually spent the time required by the manufacturer to become a certified technician, just so that he could order a part for us, he didn't charge us a cent for that time. Nick and Marcus know their craft, and they are two of the nicest people you could meet. I highly recommend using PlumbWorks when you need to fix your water heaters; they do good work and they they charge a reasonable fee.

Nic was absolutely fantastic! He actually was the only one who figured out what was causing my $1500 water bill. I had multiple plumbers come out and they couldn’t figure it out but Nic did! It saved me so much time and money. He was upfront that repairing the toilets might not be the most value vs just replacing them. He gave great recommendations for toilets and explained everything so it was easy to understand, since I know nothing about plumbing. He showed up on time and was super courteous the whole time. He also cleaned up everything after which was really nice!
