Several small issues but they required special attention, time and persistence to solve. Fate, the plumber, did all these repairs with competence, patience and humor until they were solved. Appreciated his help and explanations very much!

I never intended to call Gene Johnson Plumbing & Heating. Instead, I was duped by a google maps review page for a business that looked local, but was really a national company that acts as a middleman. That’s not the end of the world, and is by no means the reason I’m giving them one star - it is more to say that I wasn’t thrilled with them from the start.

My technician was prompt and friendly enough, but the bids they gave me were insane: 3 options ranging between $33k and $40k for the job. I was incredulous at the number as it far exceeded the typical costs I had come across in my research, so I thanked the technician for his time and sent him on his way.

As I was dubious about the bids, I brought them to another plumber the next day when he came to look at my system - his quote was $16k for the same job. Literally less than half of Gene Johnson’s cheapest bid. But that’s not all - the replacement that I decided to go with is going to come in at $6k. That’s 1/5th of the lowest bid from Gene Johnson…

I will admit that I look like a good mark. I’m young and own a nice house, so I probably look easy to take advantage of. Just not today.

Very professional. Beth was quick with setting up an appointment and Alek, the technician, arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly on our furnace.

Joshua and Sean arrived within 2 hours of my call, found the problem, and fixed it in an hour. Polite, masks, smart, good humor (I have a Yorkie puppy, and they were great with her). Gave me the price in advance. Paid exactly that amount. I'm calling Beacon for all plumbing services.

Wasted our time. Made us wait 7 hours then gave us a call just to say they will not come. Such unprofessionalism

Jeremy from Premier plumbing did an amazing job fixing the corroded copper drainage pipe in the crawlspace. Punctual and honest. I had 6+ other estimates and he’s was by far the cheapest and smallest fix. No scare tactic and always punctual. This saves me thousands and also from taking time off work. He just addressed the problem and how to fix it and no exaggeration or trying to make it a bigger job then needed.

I am truly grateful and will recommend him to everyone I know.

Also he even called after the work as done to explain what was done and that because he made some minor changes due to problems that came up he got the work done but in the different way do so it ended up saving me another $100+ at the end. I really do appreciate that type of honesty!

Chad did an excellent job , he pays great attention to details. You could never ask for a better employee. I am a retired commercial electrician and I wish I would have got to work around more people like Chad in my career. Gene Johnson Plumbing is very lucky to have Chad Hendrix working for them !

Steven and Mathew did a beautiful job changing out 2 bathroom ceiling fans. They even found a roof vent that wasn’t properly secured and fixed that. Very professional and pleasant experience. Very happy!

Chris Hall was great! His card says he's the HVAC Foreman and I was impressed with how he diagnosed issues with our old furnace including a blown fuse and a disconnected wire and fixed them quickly.

He also showed me how to wash-out the filter and answered a bunch of my questions about heating and cooling options to replace the old system.

Amazing, prompt service at a very fair price. Nadir arrived not only on time, but early and had my very leaky outside faucet fixed and everything in tip top shape in a very efficient manner. Professionalism was top notch. I highly recommend Green House Plumbing!
