Preface: We got Gene Johnson pluming on site through working with Bel Red Hearing, coming and plumbing. Johnson and Bel Red were partnered, then Aplex plumbing bought them all out.

Im giving 5 stars because our experience with Calvin was exceptional. He was humble, polite, professional, and frankly, really good at his job. When several other plumbers had failed at locating our stack (5 to be exact), Calvin came out to scope. He didn’t end up needing to though because he found the stack simply by pacing, and digging a little deeper into the installation in the wall through a crawl space. This saved us huge time and money, as no scoping or drywall cutting was needed.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the admin side of working with these guys (Apex) was less than ideal. They tried to charge us for a plumber going out and spending a few hours there without doing anything as he was waiting on another employee. Luckily we got that fee waved.

Anthony is a rock star! He saved the day and bid the job fairly. Was able to fix the problem in half an hour on the spot. Give him a raise!!!

Jesus and Liam have been fabulous! They came out promptly to my place and helped me replace my water filters. They are kind , professional, reasonably priced and highly ethical. I would highly recommend if you need someone to come out and help you with your plumbing needs.

great company, great staff. They came in with the right answers, knew exactly what needed to be done, and made me feel like the situation was under control. This was not the case when the leak first started. Highly recommended for anybody needing plumbing work in the Seattle area.

I used them once in 2013 and their service at that time was good.

I tried to use them in 2018 again on my rental property because of shower water not hot. They changed the time several times and when they showed up, they told me it was the water heater that had problem and charged me money for their visit. So I replaced the new water heater and the water was still not hot. Had to hire another plumbing company to find out there was a leak in the crawlspace. Really unprofessional service and still trying to charge me money. I refused to pay them nor hire them ever again.

He has purchased newer technology equipment to assist him helping me faster! Simon is always on time and extremely professional. He has never charged more than I am quoted and I am highly satisfied.

Placed a call at 12:40pm and we were given an ETA of 3p-5p. Received a call back they would be ahead of schedule and they were to my house by 1:30pm. Super polite tech came in checked the issue (clogged tub/sink) gave us an estimate which we accepted. He was done within minutes! Will definitely be using these guys in the future! Thanks again!

Rob came out to give me a price quote and I couldn’t be more happy with the service. Came on time gave an honest assessment of what needed to be done. I had other companies come and just try to take advantage of me. Rob told me straight what did and did not need to be done. Also, best price compared to several other places that have “helped” in the past. I would recommend sewer friendly for anyone in need of help.

Our hot water heater started going out over the last several weeks. Given that our house is heated by radiators and we have a new baby, this was a serious problem. Because of the rarity of our unit, other plumbers flat out refused to even try to help us out. Not only did PlumbWorks take our calls at all hours of the night, but Nick actually spent the time required by the manufacturer to become a certified technician, just so that he could order a part for us, he didn't charge us a cent for that time. Nick and Marcus know their craft, and they are two of the nicest people you could meet. I highly recommend using PlumbWorks when you need to fix your water heaters; they do good work and they they charge a reasonable fee.

I had Ryan plumb for a new tub, shower, and bathroom sink. He also installed a new toilet. Ryan always showed up when he said he would, was very good at communicating, very respectful of my home, and is HONEST. His installation was professionally done, and he cleaned up after each visit.
Ryan also installed a recirculation pump which produces instant hot water to the bathrooms that are located on the opposite side of the house where the hot water tank sits. This now saves us several gallons of water each time we turn on a faucet instead of waiting for the hot water to arrive.
I higher recommend Ryan for any of your plumbing needs.

Watch out for these guys, as they will try to rip you off as much as possible! Very dishonest people.
They inspected our 5-yr old tankless water heater and identified that a part had to be replaced. After we gave them the go ahead on replacing the part (heat exchanger) worth < $300, without our consent, they replaced the whole unit (which they provided themselves with a 60% mark-up for $2,000). And then they threatened consequences if we didn't pay the price immediately.
When we asked in a respectful manner why the mark-up was unreasonable and why we hadn't been notified of switch from part replacement to unit, Evan (owner) started using curse words and started threatening.
After we paid them, we asked for our old unit (one day after their service), they said they had tossed it out and it couldn't be retrieved.

Having said all of that, they responded promptly with a same day service and everything was back online and working after 3 hours, so if you don't mind them stealing from you, this business can be a good choice.
We recommend getting a 2nd opinion if they tell you the unit has to go.
