Mario and Lazaro replaced the water heater and fixed clogged drain in bathroom drains. I think their price may be a little higher, but they do provide high quality work and transparency. They spelled out the options and pros and cons of each. And then did the work well. They were courteous and no surprises. Also, to find the clogged drain, they had to do the snaking a few times and found the blocked pipe. They worked hard to find it and replace it. Thanks.

This is my first time ever leaving a review. I am so thankful for One Sources help at 4:30 am I had to share it. I woke to water coming from the kitchen upstairs through the lights in my downstairs bathroom. A pipe malfunctioned on the dishwasher and was flowing onto the kitchen floor and then flooding the kitchen. I frantically called 4 plumbers who said 24hr service but it turns out they just have an answering service and I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. The 5th company was One Source and he talked me through how to shut off the water which turns out to be pretty easy if you know where to look. I wasn't charged anything and it was just a very nice decent thing to do for someone at that ungodly hour in the morning. Thank you, Thank you!!

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

Holidays were coming up this past year, and we were expecting all kinds of friends and family from out of town to come visit and stay with us. Robert, my 5yr. old son proceeded to flush two whole rolls of toilet paper down the upstairs toilet (he unraveled it all...) to see i it would reach the downstairs toilet!!! OMG, not only was the upstairs overflowing by the time we found out, it was so plugged up we couldn't unclog it ourselves..... We called up Economy Plumbing for an emergency service to be done. Not only were they very understanding, they were in there within a half hour!!! It took the plumber only a few minutes to fix the problem, and it was working like brand new again!!! Had a terrible experience of being over priced and told I had to pay $225 for an unsuccessful attempt at dislodging an object from the toilet. It was a five minute task that did not work. I said I’d pay for a house visit, but no way was i paying $225 for a “try at it” that yielded no results. He huffed off and told me that no one acts that way. It all felt disingenuous to me.
