Antonio is great! Fast, efficient and thorough. He came for a bathroom sink drainage issue. But he also noticed our toilet water valve problem (which we were unaware) and offered to fix that, too, for a discounted fee! Apparently, we’ve been paying high water bills because of our broken toilet water valve.Admin staff are efficient and keeps me in the loop at all times. Efrain was great! Helpful and friendly! Not only did he fix our food processor problem quickly. He also helped us check a sink stopper issue and provide multiple solutions. He also helped us check the water heater in the end! Five stat review for sure!

We've worked with this company on several occasion for toilet and sewer clogs and backup. They are very professional and responsive. We had scheduled for them to come out for a follow-up appointment after the initial meeting to look at some sewage smell emanating up and our toilets bubbling when multiple people shower consecutively. We had a sewer line blockage a month back so I was worried again this was indications of another back up. They came out to honor the 30 day warranty and scheduled us in the next day to bring a camera and snake.They are very prompt with their arrival and great communication throughout letting us know if they are running behind or needed to reschedule. Yoshua is very patient with explaining the diagnosis and walking us through the solution and options to minimize the recurrence of blocks.Great company that's responsive and easy to work with and actually delivers through with showing up. Kudos to this company for providing services that we all take for granted until things are backed up.

Lost hot water on a Saturday morning (of course!). Saul came very quickly (30 minutes after my call) and went over the options in a very thorough manner. Didn’t push a water heater replacement (it is only 6 yrs old) but quoted the most common repair (thermocouple) and would credit the repair towards a replacement of that didn’t work. Luckily it did - we had hot water within 2 hours of my call. Nice electronic notification system (txt, email). Recommended.

Had to change my faucet that was leaking pretty bad. called discount plumbing. They sent Conner and Cody to do the work. Both were very professional. I bought the wrong faucet and had to return to home depot to exchange and Conner came in the next day and finished the job. It was a pleasure to talk to them and get my sink back in working order. Great plumber. Since I moved to Daly City a few years ago, they've been my primary plumbing service, as well as the primary plumbing service for many of my friends.
On time very courteous explained work that was needed gave me an estimate before hand and was finished under one hour. Everything seems to be back to normal. Highly recommend.

Had a clogged pipe that was causing a back up (very gross/smelly minor flooding) in our laundry closet. Angel arrived early (which was great!) and fixed the issues which was not easy! Very thorough and professional. Will definitely use Discount Plumbing again.

contacted discount plumbing at 9:30 pm I explain the guy my issue, he said that he will be at my home in the next my house between 10:00 pm - 12:00 am. He actual took like 45 minutes to get at my home, and solved the problem. Great customer service !!! He explain the problem, he even told me of he was going to solve it. And he show me on a camera, that my issue was solved..
He showed up on time. Did the work carefully and quickly, checked for leaks. Only I forgot to tell him I qualified for a senior discount.
Steve and Stephen were great! They showed up within the time window, repaired my problem quickly, answered all my questions, and were all-around nice guys. I’ll be calling here the next time I need something fixed :)

Efrain came out on 4th of July to check out my busted water heater. He was super personable, explained everything clearly and carefully and promised he could come out the following day to replace the water heater. After agreeing to the quote, he promised to arrive first thing in the morning. He arrived around 9am and finished around 11:30am while being super thorough with some other questions I had. We have used Discount Plumbing Rooter in the past and they have continued to satisfy us with their service. Highly recommend Efrain and this company!

Exceptionally great job! The service person who came out was very clear in communicating all the relevant information about what was needed, and he was very friendly, helpful, and patient with my 82 year old mother. Our water heater sprung a leak and died Friday night and I called Discount Plumbing and Rooter (along with 3 other companies) Saturday morning. Adan arrived just before 10AM, gave us a quote on the spot, and installed a brand new 50 gal. water heater with new hot/cold flex water lines and a new flex gas line & valve. He estimated the job would be done by 1PM. He finished at 12:57PM. By 1:30PM we had hot running water again. It was a job well done at a fair price.

Edgar was very professional and informative on what was going on with our kitchen sink drain and garbage disposal. He was able to clean out our drain pipes and let us know that there was grease build up which was causing the back up.We unfortunately had a back up again not too long after and Edgar showed up again and was able to do a quick clear on short notice.He was on time and professional and I wouldn’t hesitate to call him and the Discount Plumbing company again.

Our very old solar heater had sprung a leak up on the roof and the two guys that were sent out were knowledgeable and professional.
I initially called to have one of their plumbers come by for a free quote, and the work turned out to be even less than I expected. Carl had all of the materials in his truck and had the water shut off, the pipe fixed, and the water back on in less than 30 minutes. I'm seriously blown away by how easy and affordable these guys are. Will definitely be calling them again in the future.

We called them on a Saturday with a busted water heater. Technician arrived when we agreed. They even texted a picture and name of the tech when he was en route. He arrived in a company marked vehicle - they don’t sub the work out to some random third party, which is refreshing. He was prepared and talked us through the options. The price was good (I texted a friend afterwards that had the same work done by someone else and turns out I might have got a relative bargain, especially considering mine was on a Saturday ). The work was professional and the tech was personable and respectful of our place. Again, it was just so refreshing to contact someone and have them respond immediately, show up on time, look and act like a pro, and not try and take me to the cleaners. These are my people from now on.

Where first on the scene. My water heater was kaput. My problem happened after hours. Walked into a soaked garage. They offered a full replacement at a reasonable price. The great repairman returned late into the night and got to work. Got it up back and running. The new water looks great and is working great. Very professional crew and great service overall. Edgar and Tony showed up and did a great job unclogging a troublesome clog that had a spray wedged in the house trap and they overcame it! I am a believer in these gentlemans ability. I will use this company again!
Started off as a simple bathtub spout and stopper repair. Turned into a 8+ hour job repairing and replacing pipes and reinforcing wood supports for a leaky toilet. Connor and Simon were exceptional describing the problem and explaining the fix in detail. Not at all happy with the findings but very glad they were able to fix the problems before it got worst.

Had a bad toilet clog. Had tried everything to remove the clog. Nothing worked so I called and they were very fast to respond. Great interaction with call as well with the plumber who arrived. He took less then five minutes and it was clog free. I was happy again. He stayed to make sure it wouldn’t clog by flushing. Cleaned up everything and was off his way. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an emergency fix.

The only other thing I need to do is have him come back and adjusted the heat. Once that's done we'll be good.

We had a clogged pipe and called Discount Plumbing to come out to snake the clog. They were very responsive and professional. We had a bit of a challenge with their invoicing system but they were very responsive and helpful and we were able to get the issue resolved - thank you Joel! Carlos came to fix the gas leak problem. He did a great job doing the diagnostic check and replaced the gas line for quickly.
They responded very quickly to my request, and sent a technician that same day. The technician was superb, engaging, and kept showing what he was finding along the way. He even went back to their central office to get an upgraded piece of equipment that was needed for the job, and returned that same evening to solve the problem. I am very happy with the outcome.

Our kitchen drainage pipe had a leak. The initial plumber gave a pretty high quote and couldn't fix it immediately. we then called discount plumbing, and Ricardo was here within a couple of hours of our call. He quoted a price that was $150 lower, and said he could get started right away. He first put a temporary patch so we could use our kitchen again, and then completed the job the next morning. Stephen was fantastic! He came out in the rain and climbed up on the roof to look at the sewer vent and scope it with his camera, and then he went out in the muddy backyard with a shovel because my main drain clean-out was buried somewhere by the side of the house. He dug around and found it quickly and determined that there was a lot of mud in the pipe. He also found the blockage from the toilet to that drain and cleared it. Also he was very professional when negotiating with my home warranty company, which is always challenging.

I love the guys here. They are frequent visitors to my home in Daly City because a lot of the plumbing infrastructure is very old and honestly needs to be replaced at this point. But nevertheless, they always give me fair prices for the excellent service they provide.
Very happy with my service. Since my large problems were with 2 bathrooms they cut me a good deal. Edgar and his friend were respectful in wearing a mask the whole time and covered the floor in plastic to prevent tracking stains. Will definitely repeat as a customer.

I found them by requesting service via Yelp at midnight on a Friday for a kitchen drain. Was able to book online that night and everything was confirmed by 730am for an 8-10 call. Had a great experience with Cody from Discount Plumbing. There was a leak somewhere in my bathroom and I could not locate where it was coming from. I called discount plumbing and Cody arrived in less than an hour. He located the leak behind the toilet and replaced the wax ring.
The scheduling went very smoothly, the plumber arrived on time and i was notified once he was on his way. When he got here he put on slippers and laid out mats to keep the bathroom clean as he cleared my drain. Best of all he did just the work I needed rather than a more extensive job saving me money.

Discount plumbing has saved us multiple times since we moved into our new house in 2020! They are always so nice and responsive when I call in to schedule, someone is typically available to come to the house within 24 hours or less. From beginning to end, we had an excellent experience with Rafy of Discount Plumbing. I needed to find someone to replace my mom's leaking water heater. She told us that day that there was suddenly no more running hot water at her house. We had bought a new water heater but it was just sitting there in the garage.It was near the end of the day, past 5:00, when I noticed a Discount Plumbing van in my neighborhood, and a gentleman walking towards the vehicle. I asked for a quote.Rafy gave me a ballpark quote for what it might cost and had room in his schedule for the next day.He arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time, explained to me exactly what services he would provide, in detail, estimated the amount of time it would take and how much it would cost.He completed the job in 2-1/2 hours and showed me everything he had done. It was done professionally and cleanly, and he seemed to have excellent workmanship.I feel that he was upfront, honest, and capable, and we could not be happier with the results.Highly recommend!

We had an emergency plumbing situation at our condo in San Francisco last week and it was even more stressful because our place was supposed to be going on the market this week. I called Discount Plumbing and was immediately connected to Connor. Within an hour, Connor was at our place and working to identify the problem. Unfortunately, it was a big problem. Our entire line of plumbing from the street to the house needed to be replaced. As you can imagine, this would be stressful any day but with the place about to be listed, it was even more distressing. Long story short, Discount Plumbing did the entire job in two days. They had to wait to pour the concrete until a few days later due to the rain but the bulk of the work was completed within 36 hours. Connor got in touch with me each step of the way. He was so kind and patient, explaining each part of the process to us. He texted me right back with answers to my questions and always with a kind and helpful response. Customer service is professional. The big stand out about Ricardo who worked on the plumbing is the skill set. That’s what separated this experience from previous plumbing companies I’ve used that didn’t really know things. Ricardo was able to answer things, and he found a difficult shower handle cartridge to repair a leak.

5 star service! My water heater pilot electronic ignition module stopped working. I need a quick fix, and called Discount Plumbing. I was able to get a plumber out that afternoon. Ricardo showed up, and after a look at the water heater and options, I went for a new water heater since parts would take a while to get here. He had to go back to the warehouse to get a new unit, and his communications were prompt during that afternoon. Edgar showed up to help. With my busy day, and add this to it, Ricardo and Edgar made it a bit easier to get through.

Ricardo was great, he fixed our issue with the toilet constantly running in seconds and explained what was wrong, what to look for and how to fix quickly in the future.
They prevented us from further damage in the house in the rainy days.
Steven responded quickly when our water heater suddenly died. He came on a Saturday morning, removed the old one, put in the new one, and even replaced the hook ups so it's easier to turn off the water to the heater. We'll definitely call Discount Plumbing again in the future.
Efren came my house to provide the service. He is professional and knowledgeable. He found the problems very quickly and explained clearly. And resolved the problems. He also came with mask and shoe covers. I will recommend his service.

Had my hot heater go out so I called discount plumber because they had done work for me in the past , they replaced my sewer(recommended by the city of Pacifica). While I was waiting for discount plumbing to show up I called around to a few other plumber and home depot to get other quotes average quote was $2100. Cheapest was $1900 from a local plumber and home depot was $2095. Discount plumbers quoted me $3988 which was by far the highest, when I asked why the price was so high they told me it was because the work had a 6 year warranty and it would be better quality then home depot, home depots comes with a 12 year. My recommendation is definitely get other quotes before going with these guy
Mike M. was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable to find the source of the leak. He did a great job in finding the source of the leak on the first call. He explained the problem and options for replacement. If he could find a replacement pipe that could fit with the current pipes or if not, then we had to replace the whole T pipe set. Fortunately, he was able to find a pipe to fit and he came back to replace it later. Overall, the problem was detected and fixed quickly. Very happy with the results.

I had a pipe bust under my kitchen sink needed a plumber ASAP. Discount plumbing came out, LB was my technician and on time. He was very respectful and professional. I received amazing customer service, he walked me through the process and he was able to fix my angle stops under the sink. I was so comfortable with the service I received, that I even went ahead and had my kitchen faucet replaced. Efrain was on time, knowledgeable and we appreciate the communication between the plumbing company and us.
We found Discount Plumbing a very professional and responsive company to work with. We had an issue with continual backups with our main sewer line. Stephen and his assistant Omar (I believe that was his name) came out to diagnose the problem. The initial free estimate includes a camera inspection. The camera inspection showed a very clogged pipe and it was then recommended we hydro jet the line to see what the issue was. Two sections of our main needed to be replaced. One section under our driveway was clogged due to tree roots. The other section in the garage had a sagging section of pipe. Discount Plumbing was able to schedule the work for 3 days later. Christian showed up around 7:30 am with a crew of 5 people. The work was completed in one day, including cementing over both areas. We would definitely use Discount Plumbing in the future.

He provided estimate that seemed reasonable so I contracted with Discount Plumbing.Brian returned shortly after estimate was accepted with Ryan and installed some new piping, pressure relief tank and a booster pump. They did an excellent job even though found some unexpected challenges as they started the job. Brian did a great job explaining different alternatives and was always cost conscious and helped me make decisions about most cost efficient approach. Work was completed in a very timely manner. Discount Plumbing did the lateral sewer line over a year ago and I was happy with their work so I called them again to assess a drain that was clogged. Carlos helped with cleaning out my main drain and several smaller drains in my older home, that had been sitting unused for quite a while. He ran out of time in the first visit and came back in the same day to finish up. One of the drains was hard to snake so he cut a pipe to create an access, which he patched before leaving. All of the service was friendly and professional.
The plumber was prompt professional and clean! He was very informative and let me know everything that was going on. This is the second time that I’ve used this company and I’ve been happy both times and I recommend if you live in the bay area to always consider them for your project!

I called Discount Plumbing and Stephen and Gilmar came out in less than hr to help clear my clogged/ slow draining toilet. I cannot recommend them enough for whatever job you have.Both Stephen and Gilman were beyond professional and respectful, making sure they took off their shoes every time and cleaned up. Recently our shower has been clogging up and the water will not go down the drain. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain. Absolutely love discount plumbing. Every employee I’ve spoken to has been friendly and informative, their technicians show up on time, and they explain the problems clearly. They fixed everything quickly (replaced the wax seal on my toilet and added caulking to prevent rocking) and it was good to go! This is the second time I’ve used discount plumbing and I willContinue to use them due to there customer service and responsive time. I called Early this morning around 9 am about bathroom backing up due to my son throwing a toy down the toilet. LB arrived at 11 am sharpe and was super informative on the issue he walked me through the process of removing my toilet and and diagnosing without replacing my toilet. He was able to fix the issue within 30 minutes and also offered me a full house inspection at no cost. When we walked around the house we notice that my hose bib was leaking and I was surprised that he was able to fix it and that I didn’t have to schedule another appointment. Called Discount Plumbing for my parents because they were having trouble with a leaky faucet at home. Fred was sent to our home and we showed him the leaky faucet. He immediately got to work. Amazing service, thank you Yachua. I've had issues with my sink, shower and sewer pipe blocking and overflowing for years. Each time each plumber I call does the same fix with a snake but the issue returns. Yachua had the same fix but first used a camera to help map out my pipe work to make sure we knew about every possible clog. I had previously called Mr. Rooter and never heard back from them. Meanwhile Discount Plumbers called me within an hour of me posting on Yelp. They were able to come the next day and came right on time. Yachua was super honest about the work needed. Really appreciate fast, dependable service!
We got a prompt response for a last minute request help with a leaking bathtub drain. Fred came right on time ( Even a little bit early ) and it turned out our tub drain needed a minor repair. Plus he explained everything what he was doing as he was doing it, which I really appreciated. Great customer service

Wonderful service getting it fixed
We have a clogged sewer for days and everything is coming out at the garage and shower nobody can show up right away. So we called discount plumbing and they can have someone within half an hour, but less than half an hour in the middle of the rain FRED show up and assists the problem. He even wore booties to show some respect to my unit and clear the shower drain also. After he cleared the blockage he even spent some time washing the garage floor. And ran camera to inspect the line and found what causing the problem. He even spent more time to look all our plumbing. Thanks discount plumbing especially to FRED who spent his time, effort and perseverance.

We had neglected to have our water heaterMaintained for 5 years and had noticed that there was a significant delay of hot water output when using the faucets and shower compared to 5 years ago . Angel provided punctual, friendly and professional tankless water heater maintenance service as well as replacement of the prefilter and filter for the water supply around the Rinnai tankless water heater. He worked quietly, cleaned up afterwards and left no mess behind . He was respectful of our household. It was a pricey maintenance service but absolutely necessary
Just had Fred and crew over to water pressure our drains as they were running slowly. The work was done quickly, professionally and I would highly recommend calling Discount Plumbing for all your needs. Price quoted was price charged. Cannot say enough good things about them.

Once a year our sewer gets backed up from use.We know the issue but have not spent the $$ to fix it yet.So today all of our plumbing is clogged. Our toilets, tubs, et al, which means no showers and no using the toilet. Discount Plumbing was able to send someone out the same day.Mike came out and after explaining our issue made some great recommendations rather than the typical once a year snake.He high pressured cleaned the sewer line and that worked alot better. Our sewer flow increased to more than it had ever been in the past, which we had not noticed until after.Another reason I liked Mike was he was not constantly up selling me like previous plumbers. He assess the situation and then gave me options. He was more willing to talk to me about solving the problems rather than exploiting possibilities.Highly recommend and we will be using them again.

I called on a Saturday afternoon about 2:00 when my kitchen sink drain got clogged. I was told someone would arrive between 3 and 5, but Yashua actually arrived shortly before 3:00, took care of the clog and was finished by 3:40. Everything was clean and neat when he left. Could not have asked for a better response and outcome. Great customer service. I highly recommend Discount Plumbers and would call them again for any needed plumbing solution.

I had a clogged kitchen sink called Discount Plumbing and they sent someone quickly. Sam was very helpful and professional. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.
Eda and Adan are THE BEST!! They went above and beyond and I feel truly care about their customers.Eda helped to book my appointment and followed up to make sure things were clear and to our satisfaction. She's easy to talk to and also listens, which is greatly appreciated especially in these highly stressful situations.Adan was also kind and very thorough. He made sure there were no pipe leaks, and walked me through his thoughts and suggestions so I fully understood and felt comfortable before he took action in opening up a wall so he can further inspect where the leak was coming from. He went as far as suggesting we make the opening from inside the cabinet vs hallway so it's not as visible while work is being done. Adan also connected me with Bay Area Flood and Fire to quickly contain the water damage.As a woman having to deal with water damage for the first time I was really lucky to connect with genuinely good people who are capable, trustworthy, and looks out for the customers best interest.Thank you, Eda and Adan!!

I highly recommend Marcus Crowley from Discount Plumbing Rooter, Inc. He was friendly, professional, on time and provided an estimate just minutes after the free estimate visit (many plumbers/plumbing companies charge for this). Discount Plumbing had him out to my house just 45 min after I called, and he advised on specifics of faucet I wanted to buy myself. Work was scheduled just 2 days later, and despite a challenging installation, I was charged exactly the amount of the estimate. In addition, at my request (and no additional charge), Marcus checked my house psi (water pressure), adjusted it for me, and showed me how to do it. I will definitely be calling Advantage Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

The tech was great, gave great information and explained everything.
Main pipe in house was replaced that connects to the sewer lateral and they can quotes and replaced in same day. Also got other quotes and they were the best price Also very friendly staff to my wife as I was unable to be there.
We found our new plumber. If you have any plumbing needs, do yourself a favor and call Steven from Discount Plumbing Rooter. The best in the game. Called at 11:30am, showed up at 1:15pm, and finished up at 2:15pm. Fixed up our leaky bathroom faucet and changed out a hose for our washing machine. Thanks Steven!

Friendly, polite, quick, and effective. We had a clogged shower drain which we could not clear ourselves, Marcus was in and out in a half hour. Only a wish I’d been given a cost ballpark before he’d arrived. This was the first time we’d ever needed to call a professional for a clogged drain and there was some sticker shock.
Fred arrived as scheduled, was very thorough, and resolved the issue in a very professional manner. Highly recommend the services of Fred and Discount Plumbing.

Edgar J provided excellent service in both offering technical advice on tankless water heater installation, and installing standard water heater as recommended. He assessed our home's structure for accommodating a tankless unit, and pointed out challenges to consider. We decided to move forward with installing standard water heater instead, given the urgency to replace our current tank with corrosion on external pipes. Edgar was available to install our new water heater the following day.

Don't be fooled by its name. There was no discount, super expensive. They buy many ads everywhere, Google, Youtube, you name it. Guess who will pay for the ads at the end of the day? It's the customers!Price is not transparent. If they can tell you don't know about the market price or if it's urgent, they will give you a high quote. And they will find ways to ask for more while working on the project.Don't forget to shop around and bargain.
